Oct 26, 2010everything is working well with the exception of the background image/stage. Whenever I preview it in a browser, the site gets stuck in the upper left corner. I need it to automatically resize according the to viewers browser size. How do I do this? From what I've seen online, it involves possibly putting everything in a movieclip, which I can do, I just don't know how to proceed from there.

Apr 8, 2009i've designed a website for someone who now wants it in flash - which is fine, but i stupidly bought an AS2 set of buttons and an AS3 image gallery.
My knowledge of flash barely skims past flash 4, so AS2 is prefered as i cannot work out how to give a button a command in AS3 let alone anything else.He wants the background to resize depending on the resolution, so i found this:[URL]..which oddly enough, regardless of how many times i try the tutorial, DOES NOT WORK, however the source file does, and for the sake of my sanity, that is enough.
I need to create a loader or movieclip, and load all the external swf's inside. I can do this with AS2, no problem.

Jan 4, 2009I have a main movie here that loads in an external swf through a container mc. everything is aligned and positioned to where it should be, and they are also set to that value onresize. the problem is, when my swf is loaded in, it works fine and is in the right position, same when you resize it. BUT, if you resize the window before the swf is loaded, it misaligns, until you resize!!

Repeat Only Some Frames Infinitely?
Mar 19, 20101. starts with 2 guns crossed centered
2. the shoot at the same time and start dragging towards the edges of the screen like this: <------ (center) ------>
3. fill the centerish area with smoke from the gunfire while the guns are moving away
4. as the smoke clears my name appears in the middle
5. then a few more frames of smoke coming out of the guns (i want this part to repeat, only this part though so theres just infinite smoke coming out)
now i'm still a bit fresh to flash. here's what i have down. i got my gun pics and the tilt up when fired and got them to drag away (motion tween). i also got my name to fade in from a frame in the middle to the end. i still don't know how to make the bang, or smoke (then make the smoke vanish), and then have the last few frames repeat.
