ActionScript 2.0 :: How To Put Flash Website Online

I'm an italian student. I don't know how to put online the website I created with Flash (I'm a graphic designer, I took a flash course of only 10 lessons, the teacher didn't explain how to put online our works but wants a working website for the exam!).I have a folder with 7 files.fla, 7 file.swf, an image folder, a video folder and a sound folder. First of all. I don't know if I have to rename my homepage as index.fla (in this case I should change the script of all the buttons linked to the homepage!!!). Is it correct to change only the name of the homepage.html file?Second. I made the files.html with flash but I don't know how to eliminate the white margins. The code seems so confused, but I don't know how to make an html file with flash script by myself.

I have made a simple website in Flash which I would now like to put online. I have published the movie as an HTML file and tested it - it works offline. I then used my FTP program to transfer the html document to my web space and tested it. I saw the 'Press SPACEBAR or ENTER to activate and use this control' message but, even when I clicked, the screen remained blank.

I want to use a flash preloader for my php website. I have seen some javascript examples; but I want something attractive and cool. So I want use flash preloader which will show the percentage of the website loaded.My website is kinda heavy(with lot of images). It looks bad when the contents load. am i publishing the movie incorrectly? It works great when I preview the flash file (cntrl+enter), but after I publish it and insert it into the html (in dreamweaver), the file shows up and animates perfectly, but when clicked, no link... It doesn't do anything

I imported my SWF unto dreamweaver and previewed it on browser and it works perfectly fine, I then uploaded on server but it is not showing online, I have flash player 10, and have checked to see if all the files are placed in correct root folder. I tried saving SWF under a new name, and a few oher things but it is not working!!!! Been racking my brains for 2weeks....

My friend wants to be able to update the sites text himself. Is there a way he can easily edit the basic text online without having to use Adobe Flash (it would be even better if he could add photos as-well). I was thinking I could get flash to read an XML file but I don�t know how he could easily edit that as heis not techie at all.

In The Flash Application, my gallery is working as it is meant to. Yet, when I upload the swf to the live site, the first image, text and movie of my gallery works but it refuses to scroll to the next item in my XML.
I have given it an absolute path to that server which works in Flash but not when it is online.

Flash CS4 Pro I created a Flash video, which when previewing locally works fine, but then I upload the files to the webserver, then nothing is displayed, I only see a white area where the Flash video should have been (no broken image icon, see the attached jpg file, it shown an white area where the video is suppose to appear).

There are a lot of flash games that ask u to do repetitive actions. An example would be FarmVille or getting statistics on on-line poker game. What is the best way to create an interface between what you see on the screen, a bot's algorithm and clicking of the mouse. So basically, when I'm playing a texas hold'em on face book and if I get AA I want the bot to click all-in. If I don't get AA I want to fold. This is just an example, not the actual strategy. Or another examples would be routing tasks in farmville. So basically. It has to grab a picture of the screen. recognize patterns and convert them into an input of the algorithm. The output algorithms would be clicking on some other (may be same) patterns.

I'm in the process of building a Flash Electronic Press Kit. Anyways, I converted a Video I had of him from WMV to FLV and then imported into Flash CS3. It played fine when I uploaded it to the server on the computer I had it on. But anyone else who looks at it has told me that they're stuck at the waiting screen for ages and It doesn't load at all. I've made a flash-uploader in action script 3 which have worked on a couple of sites. I recently implemented it in a new site and made some few changes. It started working but suddenly it stopped working... If i make a .html site on my local machine and test it (or run it in flash) the uploader works perfectly. But as soon i run it from my server, it wont upload?? How the hell can this happend? Sorry for my language but for me it seems very not-logical.. And let me again say, it worked for a start, and without any further changes it stopped worked on my new server.

I just decided to start using a new online conversion to convert PDF to online catalogs. I've tried several similar services or converters and finally. One thing annoying happened. I uploaded a PDF to [URL] and it converted, I like the result as when I magnify the page it keeps clear enough texts. However, When I clicked the top-right button to enter full screen, I cannot use the page oval on the bottom also cannot use PgUp, PgDn, Home, End to flip pages.
I then checked the demo [URL] but same thing happens. I tried some of the other conversions, FlippingBook gives an message saying that the flash player doesn't support keyboard input in full screen when I was trying to use the search function. And Found that the keyboard input are disabled in the flash 9 version this complex ducument is using. When will this restriction be canceled using the Flash Player? In a Flash version 10 or never? I'm an XP end user.

I have not worked with Flash for quite awhile and just finished a personal project in Flash CS4, originally created in Flash MX, but when I uploaded the complete swf and html to the Web, the swf file is not visible at all I see a blank page. The previous version, saved in MX, works just fine online but I no longer have the MX version.
what ActionScript version should I output for the SC4 version, 1 or 2 (I tried version 3 and got an error message)?

I made (or copied) this XML 3d Carousel: [URL]
I changed some settings, just what I needed like stage size, thumbnail size and so it doesn't spin too fast when mouse rolls over.
I replaced the images with my own, so I have like four now spinning around. It works fine when I hit Ctrl + Enter to test my movie and aswell the carousel.html works in the browser.
I uploaded all files (four images named c_img(number).png, carousel.xml, carousel.swf and the AC_RunActiveContent.js) all in the same folder to my website through FileZilla but the god damn movie doesn't work on the web. It just shows the background so it must be the images are not loading in correctly, but I can't find what's wrong. I've checked the file paths and they are correct, I don't use any cross-domains. Honestly I can't find the problem, it works on the tutorial site so why not on mine? I basically just copied all, nothing more.
I did notice a strange thing though. If I write the direct address in the browser address field [URL] so it loads in full screen, the image carousel shows but very far outside to the right of the screen. I used Firebug and changed the size of the flash movie so I could see far beyond, it's very f'ed up..

If you have Firebug, use it and change the size of the flash and you'll see the carousel to the right of the screen, outside the main flash content area. :/
