Apr 18, 2011I am having a problem with Flash.I get the message Movie not loaded if I right clich where the video should be.I may have set the hardware acceleration on/off by mistake, but I cannot get the Settings manager to open to check it.I am running Feroda rc14.If I go to http:[url].... and right click in to white area at the top, I get the message 'Movie not loaded' and the flash version - 10.2.159.1. This is where I should be able to open the settings window.Where does Flash store that info on my PC? How can I check it/change it without Settings manager?

this is for a loader on an already created flash. Which I am updating. All I am doing is changing a picture that has no coding with it, and changing the publish settings. The publish setting for the original was set for flash player 5, however I need it set to flash player 8. After I change these settings and export the movie to a .swf, I get the errors.Has the action script changed that much from flash 5 to flash 8?

Apr 16, 2008In the default context menu, there's the quality adjustment settings with a sub menu for the low, medium, high. I know how to manipulate the menu at the top level just fine (so don't worry about having to explain how to use the ContextMenu classes), I'm just wondering if it's possible to create sub-menus like that quality one.

Oct 19, 2011I bought a template but can figure out how to change a few flash settings .My website is done except for these few minor changes.To see what Im talking about go to the website main page here [url]....
1) There are two flash files, a menu and a header, in the menu when the page paods the buttons are white and turn orange when you scroll over them. Id simply like them orange when the page loads and then to turn white when you scroll over them. I can figure out how to get the scroll over to white but not the first part to getting the load orange.
2) In the header file there are several pics. Beside the pics there are scroll over buttons. Id like the first button, that says domestic contract, open when the page loads.

Apr 16, 2011I know you can change Flash builders default "Main source folder" by right clicking on the project properties and going to the "Flex Build Path" ...but how do you change that by default for all new projects? I prefer the folder name "src_flex" rather than "src" when I create my projects.You can do this for PHP in "PHP>>New Project Layout" preferences but I don't see anything similar for Flash Builder or know if there's a (hidden) file I could edit to do this.

Jun 7, 2010I am making a quiz/game, and it works like this, two teams that have to take over the united states, by answering history questions, so right now I have it were when you click on a state, it takes you to a question (on a different frame in the main timeline), then I have a problem, if you get the question right it takes you to the "board" of the United States (that works), but when you are back the color of the state should change its color to red (on frame of the clip) if south got it and blue (another frame of the clip) if north got itBut instead i changes back to grey (default color, all start grey to begin with). Is this possible? I can't seem to find what object I should be examining for this information. [EDIT] I see that Stage has width and height but nothing about frame rate.

May 2, 2009how can I change my rulers' zero points on the stage? In Photoshop I just drag new points from the top left corner, but that doesn't seem to work in Flash. This is very useful for me, e.g., setting "0" at the center of the stage, or quickly measuring some space.

Mar 19, 2011I'm trying to change a Flash animation into a Quicktime movie to post to YouTube, which I've done with a much smaller file, but have had trouble with a larger 2.6M file. When testing Flash movie I get dialog box saying- Content will not stream... Change Runtime Shared Library Library > Advanced ActionScript 3.0 in Publish Settings. So I enter Publish Settings, on Formats I leave Flash and HTML checked. Select center tab for Flash, click on settings for ActionScript 3.0 in scripting box. In Advanced ActionScript Settings dialog at the bottom I've tried changing the Runtime Shared Library drop down to the Merged into Code option but it didn't help. The other option is the Preloader Method, where I think the problem is, but when it is changed form Preloader SWF to custom the Preloader SWF box at the very bottom empties and when the movie is published I get a warning of no Librarys linked and when movie is played int the Quicktime player some of the animations fragment and leave the fragment as remnants.
