So I have HTML page. with flash app on it. I vant to send an array to flash. How to do such thing using flashVars (I have something like uid=12&sid=12&sid=32&sid=12&sid=32) so i need to get dinamic andomeegunnown number of Sid's not losind UID how to du such thing?
btw I want to pass in an array of values and have it recognized by Flash as an Array object; For example, with POST and GET requests an array is formed as "field[]=value&field[]=value" etc.
Im trying to write a function that will build a menu based upon the vars that I passed it to. This is a simpler version on the code.(The library has a MC/Btn symbol with the linkage "btn");

Why do I get an output of 4 on every clicked button, instead of 0,1,2,3 ? I tryed forwarding the " i " to the onRelease = function(i) {} and then in it declaring a new var and assigning it the passed " i ", but that doesn't work either :/

When I am playing back this video I receive the doSomething events on client side. No problems so far.Can I receive those events on server side? I want to handle those events on server side. Like many to many video conference .On a single page i want to see more than one person at same time by different-2 streams.

I am writing a online game with flex and java server and I have a big problem. In normal case, my game run smoothly but some time the clients can't receive the command from server. I found that if server send message too fast or client is doing something when server send message, the game client can't detect for a new message so my game is freeze. I only tested with 4 clients and I don't know what happen when thousands clients online in the same time. So terrible :(. In the game client, I use one EventDispatcher class to dispatch any command from the server. Do you have any solution to warranty that client must receive any message from server when the connection is still alive or server must know if client received the message or not. I use flex 3 with Socket (binary) and Java QuickServer.

View 4 RepliesI want to build apps to stream to Apple/IOS devices but I don't have an Ipad or Iphone.......what programs can I use to emulate Apple/IOS devices? Is there an emulator? Or will a download of quicktime work? maybe HTML5 video object will work in any webbrowser. I haven't looked into what it takes to use FMS on Apple/IOS devices, so maybe I will answer this question by this afternoon.

However, I can't seem to get the audio stream to actually play. It seems to be connecting alright, but calling stream.play() doesn't seem to do anything.

How can I unload previous files and eliminate the garbage build up? 2-Flash clients are active, 1-the loader, 2-the next Flash file being loaded, however "the Flash files don't unload." Maybe there's a "put - kill" method or something similar to addChild removeChild in as3.
