ActionScript 3.0 :: How To Reflect Class With TweenLite
Dec 6, 2011
Why I can't add pixelfumes reflect after I tweened the movie clip using tweenLite (greensock)? The reflect worked fine before I started tweening but disapeared after. No errors are thrown. [URL]
public function addTween(mvclp:MovieClip):void {
mvclp.y = 720 + (mvclp.height/2)
mvclp.x = 730
TweenLite.to(mvclp, 1, {y:360, ease:Back.easeOut, onComplete:addReflect()});
function addReflect():void {
var r1 = new Reflect({mc:mvclp, alpha:50, ratio:50, distance:0, updateTime:100, reflectionDropoff:1}); }
I am using pixelfumes reflect class to create a releflection, the problem i have is (i) It only accepts reference to a movieclip. (ii) I cannot cast my binary data as a movieClip var item:Bitmap has to stay as a bitmap so either I make a copy of it as a moveclip and reflect it or find a way to pass it directly into the new Reflect() constructor.
I'm using a class which applies a visual reflection-effect to defined movieclips.I use a reflection-class from here:link to source.It works like a charm except when I apply a rotation to the movieclip.In my case the reflection is still visible but only a part of it.What am I doing wrong? How could I pass/include the rotation to the Reflection-Class?[code]

Not sure if this is possible but I would like to reflect a swf or swc file selected by the user at runtime to find any classes that implement a certain interface. Can this be done or do you actually need a reference to the class you want to reflect using describeType();
Its pretty simple what im trying to achieve.I have a MC on Stage, which im trying to tween to different X coordinates.I've set up four TweenLite.to sequences, however for some weird reason only one is being triggered - what am I doing wrong?
I have a class that I was using TweenLight for handling all the tweens but came across one tween I needed the extra capabilities of TweenMax for and had to import it. Should I now convert all the tweens to TweenMax and stop the import of TweenLite? Will having both imported slow things down or swell the file size any?
So I have a public class and I have imported TweenLite into it and it works great but how would I activate a TweenLite plugin? The usual syntax weenPlugin.activate([ShortRotation]); isn't correct in here.
I am getting a 1009 error using tweenlite. I have placed the COM folder of tweenlite in the same directory as the FLA. On the main stage I have imported the tweenlite class using: Code: import com.greensock.*; import com.greensock.easing.*;
On the main stage I have a MC called mainholdermc. When I click a button called mentions but on the main stage it basically tells mainholdermc to play. This works well. I have another movieclip called vosdes. At the same time that mainholdermc plays I want to use tweenlite to make the aplha of vosdes lower. If I put this actionscript on the main page it works fine: Code: mentionsbut.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, mainholder); function mainholder(event:MouseEvent):void { mainholdermc.gotoAndPlay(2); TweenLite.to(vosdes, 0.4, {alpha:0.1}); }
The problem is that I want to move the tweenlite command to within the the vosdes movieclip. So within the vosdes movieclip I have this written in the actionscript: Code: import com.greensock.*; import com.greensock.easing.* TweenLite.to(this.vosdes, 0.4, {alpha:0.1});
I found that by using Code: this.MC_NAME it is the equivalent of the _root in AS2.
However this is not working. When I compile the FLA no errors occur until I click on the mentionsbut and I get the following error: Code: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at com.greensock::TweenLite/init() at com.greensock::TweenLite/renderTime() at com.greensock.core::SimpleTimeline/renderTime() at com.greensock::TweenLite$/updateAll() [Code] .....
I don't use so often package and I don't understand why flash send a 5001 error on this ActionScript Error #5001: The name of package does not reflect the location of this fileI have à fla located in the "test" folder :
import flash.display.Loader; import com.MyLoader; var photourls:Array = ["http://www4.pictures.zimbio.com/mp/6v5wRot-Ry9l.jpg"]; var ldr: MyLoader; var id:uint = 0;
I'm trying to build a tool similar to this.I'm using movie clips for the shapes.I am placing the reflected shape by figuring out the point on the line perpendicular to the original shape's registration point, then using the distance and angle. The part I'm stuck on is how to actually reflect it.It seems that if I was just drawing a shape I could use each point to determine new ones as I did above and redraw it, but I also have to reflect more irregular movie clips like illustrations and bitmaps. I tried rotating and Any insights on the best way to approach this? Is there a way to use a matrix?
I'm getting an error on Flash that I've never run in to before.
5001: The name of package 'Document'does not reflect the location of this file. Please change the package definition's name inside this file, or move the file. C:Work2009-2010FlashTestsDocument.as
The fla is called TestEvents1... and that's all the info I think is related.What's happening here?
Because I was having so much trouble using packages in my other programs I created two simple classes to figure it out. I have placed these two classes in a folder named packageTest and even made a new path there in flash preference.
[Code].....
I am running them from a .fla file with packageTest.FirstPackage set as the document class. I receive the following error when I compile. 5001: The name of package 'packageTest' does not reflect the location of this file. Please change the package definition's name inside this file, or move the file. C:UsersDirkDesktopRuckuspackageTestPackageTr aveler.as
So I have a shell.fla file, on the same level as that there is a core_classes folder. Inside of the core classes folder is a core_initialize.as and a xml, buttons, and loaders folders. Inside of the loaders folder is swf_loaders.as Inside of the buttons folder is menu_buttons.as
The package name for menu_buttons.as is core_classes.buttons The package name for swf_loaders.as is core_classes.loaders
When I run my Shell.fla I get the 5001 error Package name 'core_classes.loaders' does not reflect the location of this package. Please move this to the file. 'core_classes/loaders/swf_loaders.as'.
But where it lists the location of the error in the compile errors box it lists 'core_classes/loaders/swf_loaders.as'
I've checked the spelling everything is spelled right, I made sure I didn't mix up the two package names..
The error message I'm getting is as follows:5001: The name of package 'mvc' does not reflect the location of this file. change the package definition's name inside this file, or move the file. /Desktop/mvc/Model.as
I have added full screen code on my movie so that the user can extend the size of the movie. eg If the user expands the browser window to 1200 X 900, then my movie will become 1200 X 900 without the movie deforming.
I have five simple equations that I need help converting to ActionScript. I'm making a small "calculator" that takes input from the user and displays a number representing the result of the equation. They're two sets of equations: 1) three-scenario fee calculator to compare the annual costs (X) of renting versus buying equipment; 2) comparison of two rental plans. The numbers entered need to stay the same - the alphabets represent what the user will input. The equations are as follows: Scenario 1:
X = ([A  F] / G) + H + I + J + (K x 12) + ([L / N] x M) Scenario 2: X = ([B  F] / G) + ([E x C] / G) + H + I + J + (K x 12) + ([L / N] x M)[code]....
I've looked at my resources at hand, but my brain just shuts down when I see numbers and letters representing numbers. I do speak three languages fluently, so I (think) I make up for it.how to properly assign the correct order of events (brackets first, etc) in ActionScript to reflect the equations above.
i'm trying to start organizing projects i have this folder structure: working>flash>as3Study>VectorModelStudy12511>src
my document is in VectorModelStudy12511 i have class paths to VectorModelStudy12511 and src the top of my document looks like:
[code]...
and i'm getting this error:
5001: The name of package 'VectorModelStudy12511' does not reflect the location of this file. Please change the package definition's name inside this file, or move the file. C:Users obDesktopProjectsWorkingFlashAS3Stu dyVectorModelStudy12511VectorModelStudy12511Docu ment.as
I have a movie clip called turret that is on the screen and is instanced as Turret, I have a movie clip called bullet and that is in the library exported for AS "bullet" no quotes. Here is the website [URL] My frame (main) class is called du34
I recently made simple changes to a class file and a document class when I run on my PC it works when I upload to my host godaddy it doesn't reflect any change. I've tried several different browsers making sure to clear cache first but no change the only thing I can think of is that the server is caching some of the files. Do they do that? If so is there a script I can run to refresh the server cache?
5001: The name of package 'flashdev' does not reflect the location of this file. Please change the package definition's name inside this file, or move the file.this is the error i get.Ill tell you what ive done.first i created a .as file.i have created a package like:
package flashdev{
//code here public class ooclass{}
}
then i create a .fla file and sai
import flashdev.ooclass
defined a new() class here
.... and then i get this error. I thwen tried to set folder locations within flash cs3 and still couldnt get it to work.What can i be doing wrong
output error: The name of package 'greet' does not reflect the location of this file. Please change the package definition's name inside this file, or move the file. C:Documents and SettingsIgalMy DocumentsmeirangreetGreeter.as
I keep on recieving this output error although my source path is set to C:Documents and SettingsIgalMy Documentsmeirangreet.
whenever i tween something to x or y using tweenLite, it tweens it to the coordinates realtive to the object itself, how to i tween something to coordinates on the stage?
I'm creating visual effects using TweenLite, which currently only manages the tweens for me, can I also attach a sprite at a specific time? (using "delay")
Basically I want to use TweenLite to attach/remove sprites apart from just tweening existing objects.
