View 7 RepliesI am having an issue with getting a header to slide over to a new picture every 10 seconds or so. I have it set up so far that there are three buttons on the left and when you click on one it goes to the corresponding picture.
My question is how can I make it so the pictures slide to the next witout hitting a button on the left. So I need it to slide when a button is hit and to slide when nothing is hit. If anyone could show me where I need to go from here it would be awesome. I have been trying to using intervals but I am what you would consider an amateur so it must be above my head.

I want to use flash slideshow for my site to make pictures change automatically after a few seconds and the possibility for the user to change it manually. I don't know about flash so much and the only thing I was able to do is changing the pictures manually by buttons..

I am trying to make a slide show, but I want the slide show to have at least 10 different pictures that it goes through (pic1.jpg, pic2.jpg, pic3.jpg (and so forth)) on the screen. Transformations are a plus.
I also own a Flash CS3, so if this is impossible to be done with Flash 8, tell me the instructions for Flash CS3
I want to display the result which is this "guess_txt.text.toLowerCase()+" is Correct"; then after a seconds of delay it will go on the next frame.

I have inserted in an image and a button and tried both ways. When you click on the image I want a picture to appear. I am using this on a map of a building I want to be able to show pictures of what you would see if you were in the building. The only problem I am running into is that when you click where the picture shows up it will appear.
View 15 RepliesI have animated button inside movie clip. On rollover, button zooms in and rotates. It even swaps depths (that took me a while). However, if I have 10 buttons on the screen, one of them, and only one, will not rotate, and will not zoom, but everything else works. The kicker? The button is never the same. To see what I mean... I have the site staged on this [URL] clicking on the number will show a picture

when I try to play my slideshow I click play and it goes so fast you don't see a single pictue then it goes back to the first one?? I don't know how to really fix this? This is all the code it.

I have a problem with my picture gallery. It is working ok. It show's pictures normaly. ...so what's the problem??? Well, I want my picture gallery to show, not only tumbs, but also and folders. Like, some person click on gallery button. It will show folders, and when that person click on one of that folders, then it will show photos.

i am new to this and i need to put a simple picture show an a web page, i need it to work like a powerpoint presentation but also needs buttons that you can roll your mouse over and have the slide that is associated with it come back up and also need to be able to click it to bring it back and stay on the screen for a longer period of time.

my picture section includes an MC slide show with "next/previous" buttons.
is there any way:
1- to make this MC calls JPG pictures from a directory.
2- make them autofit inside the mask.
I'm getting a data which contains a certain number.
I need to find how many hours, minutes and seconds it stands for.

I'm getting the number 248 which means:
00 hours : 04 minutes : 08 seconds
When i use time varaible and then minus the time. Ive noticed that flash does not count down in seconds, but the speed of light. My maths are not very strong so how can i get flash to count in seconds

I'm trying to figure out how I can make the sound file that I load into Flash start at x seconds and end at x+30 seconds.So basically, I just want a 30 second sample to play starting at a specific time position. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this or have links to somewhere I can read up on it?

Then I tried calling a picture to another target in the movie, but it did not load the picture as intended. I read about it on my book, but it didn't seem to work. Is there anyways on calling a picture into a target in the movie without placing the picture inside an swf file?

i got five images, and five buttons, every image has a color, and lets say we start at the red one. When i click the the green button i want the green image to fade in.. i fugured out a way to do this on the timeline, but then i have to have a black box first fading in to remove the old picture and then start fading in the new picture..

Everything went good so far.Now i'm trying make every picture go to a URL when the picture is clicked but only the link on the first frame goes to the URL when clicked the other 5 buttons do nothing when click.(FYI: I made alpha 0% buttons in a layer above pictures)I tried two different codes but both have no effect.
