ActionScript 3.0 :: Implement An External Swf Form?

I have a custom form that I want to implement and I am having a problem figuring out how to do so. I want to have it work like an inner popup where it blurs and unblurs the background image (like the schedule from hbo.com).[code]...
Lets say I load a section called home.swf into the section loader. Within the home.swf I have a button for someone to call up the form.swf. Is it possible for the form to blur the random background image when loaded then unblur it when it's done?

I've been on a mission to create a flash registration form that communicates with Joomla / CCBuilder. So far, I managed to figure everything out by myself but after a week and a half of working on this, I really want to get it out of the way. I have 4 var names "firstname, lastname, phonenumber, email" and 5 check boxes.I've also have a dynamic text box called EmailStatus. I got pretty frustrated with my code and felt it was messy,how to implement the check boxes into my email'd form.

I am trying to implement a comment form for a flash page using a php email system. I am new to flash, but I got it working for the most part. The problem is that I receive emails, but they are blank and do not contain the info I put in. Below is the Actionscript I used and the php I used.

I had to use a setter...how would I implement that into my code, On my external AS file for the coin I have the following:

I'm trying to implement swf address with my website that uses external swfs as the 'pages'.

But I haven't been able to find an example file with example code that I can ferret out how to apply this to my website. I've also checked the swfaddress and while there is a link to this:[URL].Also... is it unwise to retroactively work in swfaddress to an already compiled as or should i be starting fresh, knowing that I am going to give unique urls to various buttons, that when clicked, bring up a certain 'page' or external swf?

I am using CS4 with AS 3.0... I want to implement both a freeware photo flash gallery and mp3 audio player that I found into my all-Flash website. Both of these require reading from an xml file to get their content. They both come with html embedding instructions, but I don't know about actionscript.

I have a flash form. When the send button is pressed, I need to access a php file from another server that sends the email. I need to access the php file like this: [URL], writing the 2 variables, var1 and var2 in the link. I tried like this:

This works when I test my file from Flash. But when I upload it to a server, it doesn't work anymore. Why is that?

I have been working creating a fla file that loads several swfs and random background images. I have a simple form mailer on my page. This form mailer is linked, like all the other form mailers, with an external php file.It was working pretty fine, until one day it never sent the content.I fired up firebug and checked the Network activities. My POST request shows up as expected and the parameters are set correctly.But still, the mail is empty. I am trying to load an external swf image gallery onto a page in my website. I am new to action script and coding itself. I have spent the last five months perfecting my website and now am at the last stretch with just a couple minor issues but it is taking the life out of me trying to figure this out. I have tried to do the empty mc but just can't seem to get the swf to load. I don't know if I'm using the right code or even putting it in the right place. I even tried to use a preloader that I down loaded but keep getting an error Security Sandbox Violation when i load my external swf.
What I am trying to do is get the swf to load on the page that slides onto the stage when I select the gallery button. The main page is set up with a stationary bar with five buttons. One is for the gallery page that loads and that's where I want the swf to load when it slides onto the stage. I am using CS5 and AS 2.Here is the link to my site.I am also having issues with my contact form. I have deleted code and added code that I have found on many different sites but nothing I have tried has workedI am not to worried about the contact form if it's not an easy fix as I can buy one for 5 bucks.I am even willing to pay a small amount through PayPal to buy you a couple rounds or something for your time.Also don't be alarmed by the screeching sound when you click on the page links. it's only for a couple pages then it goes away. Has something to do with the MP3 music I added. Trying to get that taken care of now.

I figured out how to make the external SWF files show on its own layer below other layers on the main time line of the Main SWF. I created a blank movie clip file on it's own layer of the main time line and used this to call out to it:This worked perfectly. The problem I came across today though, is that buttons and text fields within the external SWF files don't work when they are loaded onto the "Main" SWF. I first came across this problem when I tried adding a form that I created to one of the external SWF files called guestlist_page_swf.swf. The form works on its own when I open that SWF individually, but when I try to load that SWF file with the form as a page on my "Main" SWF, the mouse doesn't even recognize that the submit button is a button, and it doesn't allow me to click on the text fields. I'm trying to load a jpg from [URL]. I load if from my computer, it works.. load it online, doesn't. And it doesn't give me any errors or anything. The completeListener is not working! Is there a problem with flash loading from other domains or what?.. If I test it, it shows in Safari's activity that the jpg was loaded, but it won't display it.

I am having some issues with a php email form that I am using in my AS3 project. the form works perfect and all communication is good.however when the user is on the page and wants to tab to the next text field it jumps to one of my hyperlinks on the same page and not to the next text field down on the php form.
is there any way to stop this from happening.I have tried placing the php form on a seperate layer in a seperate mc and I have done the same with the hyperlinks .you can see what I mean by visiting this development site.(after entering go to contact)http:[url].....

I have only two fields Name and Email in a Order form and a PayPal button for payment at PayPal ( into my account).I can do the mail portion but have no idea about PayPal code, however on search here I found one code and after pasting this one to the PayPal button it redirects to my PayPal account.But the question is anybody can post a message and leave the site without paying me. How can I do this thing so that the user will forced to pay before posting the mail form.

I have a super involved and somewhat silly site I've been working on for a long time piecing together fragments of AS2 code and modifying them to the best of my limited ability.The site is here:http:[url]....I am finally adding the last steps, a series of contact forms with a PHP script in the back end. Anyway, I implemented a form script and have it triggered by clicking the "CONTACT" button you can see on the lower bar. So, click contact and once the form opens (an external SWF loaded into an MC), type away and everything works fine unless you use the letter "f" in either upper or lowercase. It causes the screen to flash and for the form input to lose focus.It works (in that you can enter everything normally -- the form doesn't function, but that's just the PHP which I have yet to edit.)

I'm struggling to get the form to to go to a new frame once the form button has been submitted. [URL]Using ActionScript 2.0 The submit button is at this following path:
Scene -> txt8 (MC) -> t8.1 (MC)
The button has the following code on:

The next from frame that i'm asking it to go to, is directly after the txt8 MovieClip. Both the the txt8 MovieClip and NextFrame have stop(); code on them.The form submits all the info into the database, I just can't get it to load the next frame.

in my projects i often use some xml files to load external text that i can format in css and it worked fine till now..i have a site that i am prograaming in italian and german and in both languages there is much text that contains special characters as "à " "ò" "è" "ù" "ä" "ü" and so on .. the problem is that when i write some text with this special characters in xml when the text is loaded in the flash this special characters are not recognised and instead of them a small square is displayed ..
i tryed to load the text from a html file instead of a xml file (because in HTML i know how to write theese special characters and let them display right in my html pages .. for example à = à but no way .. the flash now loades the text à instead of à ..

I have always wondered this functionality but would like to know what your approach is for this task:
Lets say a project requires three forms screens:
Screen 1 is user info
Screen 2 is product Survey
Screen 3 is Contact info
All three forms will be generated on runtime. So the application cycles starts with Screen 1 which has the usual user info fields such: First Name, Last Name, Email and until user fills in all three fields, application will now allow the user to go on the screen 2.
I have only dealth with one screen form and have never programmed a segmented form. I usually declare a BOOLEAN and set it to false and after making sure that all the fields are filled then the BOOLEAN Value is set to true and user is able to submit the form.
Now having to deal with 3 different forms, how do you handle such situation. Does one need to set Boolean value to false for each screen when the screen is initialized or loaded first?

I have noticed two differences between spark and mx forms which are causing me some problems. It seems by default the mx forms are arranged to the label is above the form input item. In Spark they are arranged next to each other. Also the label in spark forms are bold by default.For example MX code could be
