ActionScript 3.0 :: Jump From One SWF Player To Another

I've developed Players that have a xml based playlist, that play external SWF's.
I have many such players, the situation is that a player has a maximum of 5 files to play. So if I'm playing 1st player, which has 5 files, when the 5th file of the player is being played, and I click on next button, the 2 player should load, and start playing its 1 file.
Similarly if I'm playing the 2nd player and the 1st file of the 2nd player is being played, and if I click on previous button the 1st player should load and start playing its 5th file.
Is there an SWF player with a slider control, play and Stop, total play time; so you can jump to different sections in an SWF movie without having to watch it from beginning to end?
I have a custom video player that I built with AS3. When people are viewing the videos I want them to be able to jump ahead of their current download position so that they don't have to wait until the video downloads to watch that portion.
I am brand new to scripting in Flash, and was hoping I could get some help on a question. I have an animation that is 300 frames long. The first 100 frames are an animated 'ad' (for lack of a better term), the second 100 frames are a different ad, and the third 100 frames are the last ad. This can be viewed straight from beginning to end (and is intended to loop if no action is taken), but I would also like to add some functionality to the animation, so that people can jump forward to the next ad, or back to the previous ad (hitting back from the first ad would take them to the third ad, and vice versa.)

This does not turn up any errors when I test the movie, but the functionality does not work. Am I anywhere near a working script, or am I attempting this in a completely wrong way?
i want to make the character in my flash game make a jump when the player presses a key,e.g. 'space',even the player release the key instantly,the character will still finish the complete jump process.
I have a movie clip with a button, clicking on it goes to another scene. When in the other scene, i want to be able to click another button and go back to the original scene and have the movie clip be at the frame where I left it, or any other that I specify.
I have imported an 8 minute long video in flash. This video has 5 parts say part1, part2.... I have created 5 buttons on top of video that should by clicking, take the user to a particular time in video..... I dont know the code I should use on these buttons..... Also when no button is clicked the whole video will play in its entirety What i learn from some tutorials on net is that i need to use cue points.... while importing the video I have created 5 cue points in time... they are all labeled.
I have a memory game here. And each time a card is removed from the gameboard I have "cardCount -2", when this cardCount gets to zero, I want the program to jump to the next frame which is like a "game over" page. I've tried using gotoAndStop(); as well as nextFrame(); but it doesn't seem to be working![code]...
I am having a problem with a jump code. The problem I am having is when space bar isDown the jump code works but when space bar is release my object is left up in the air. How can I get the object to come back down.

I have three buttons all in a movie clip called 'container'.
I am loading variable into container from a text file and doing a test to see which button is the correct one. At the moment that is all working fine, when the correct button is pressed I output "yes" using the trace command.
I want to however jump to another movie entirely called 'Succ' when the correct button is pressed and jump to a movie called 'Fail' otherwise.
Each button has the following code attached to it

I have created a layer called 'Movies' at the Scene 1 level and on the sixth frame I have inserted a keyframe and called the frame 'Succ'. I have my successfull movie here, which is what I am trying to jump to when my correct button is clicked.
So far I've worked out moving sideways and collision detection, which were both pretty easy.What I need to figure out is how to make my movie clip jump. I have a jumpheight variable set at 50, so I want the Y value to increase gradually until it peaks 50 pixels from where it started, then gradually come back down until it collides with a solid object. But I can't really figure out how to do that. I've got this:

I have a movieclip in my main scene. Inside the movieclip, there's a button. I wanted to so if I click on the button, it takes me out of the movieclip's timeline and play on the main scene's timeline. I tried gotoAndPlay("Scene 1", 1), but it just take my back to the first frame of the movieclip, not first frame of the main scene (scene 1)

I need to know how to write some code in flash that will make it jump down to a certain point on the page. Similar to this page.If you click on a state it will take you straight to a section down at the bottom. How exactly would i go about writing this code.
I have an animation where I want to play a movie clip and then play another movie clip from the library (selecting randomly from a group of movie clips). I couldn't figure out how to get this to work, so I tried to play the first clip, and when it gets to its last frame jump to a random clip which is already on the time line. The AS is attached.
how to accomplish my current task. I have an .fla with 32 frames in it, an open frame, a close frame, and a bank of 30 frames in between. I want to set up some AS so that once the user clicks a "Next" button on the first frame, it randomly jumps to another one of the frames within the bank of 30. Then, when they get to that frame and view the contents, and click next, they'll randomly jump to another one of the remaining frames. This will only happen for 20 frames, after the 20th viewed frame, I want the "Next" button to take them to the final slide in the series. The purpose being so that each time a user views the program, it's never the same (well not likely ever the same) - so they'll all see 20 different frames in a different order.
I'm guessing I could do this with arrays, and the math.random method, some if/else statements.
I'll try again, but this time I can add a link to the .fla my issue is this - I am building a website but the pages jump around - they don't stay still like they should[URL] the file is called "all files" - the main .fla is called "history" - there are two .swf's "wagon" and "band" if you test the website (CTRL+ENTER) and jump around between the pages for 20-30 seconds you will notice the pages jump around like crazy by themselves.
i have a clock, and a background the background contains an animated ocean (100 frames) there are four sky themes which change on the appropriate hour to night-time, morning, sunset, sunrise (could just use alpha to show another here although maybe processor intensive)
ok so the ocean could animate on its own and only the sky would need to change, that would be the easy part
but when it gets to night-time the ocean needs to jump to the night-time version of itself so if the user presses the hour button, and the ocean is on daytime at frame 80, how would i say play night version at frame 81 so that the ocean doesnt skip animation??
Today I found that flash had no option to jump to unassigned frames.
Say, I am working on frames numbered from 1 to 250. Now I need to jump to frame number 15000 and I found that I cannot jump to the frame number 15000 directly. I have to click in the Timelline and move the scroller right to its full extent, again click in the last frame visible in the time line and so on continue this until I reached the frame 15000.
I've got an array of 10 frogs, and only one jumps. I want them all to jump together or sequentially. Anything is better than one frog jumping. How do I get all the frogs in my array to jump?

I want to play with arrays and the displayList. Scattering the frogs or using other motions would be interesting.

I want to search a word in a textfiled which is multi line , finding it is not a big deal but am i able to scroll to that position , like notepad when you click find next it will jump to that point

I have several labeled clips in my timeline for a website i am making. the clips are in and out transitions and are labeled like this: home_in, home_out, products_in, products_out, contact_in, contact_out, etc. so, my button code is like this:
I'm trying to build a basic website, and I want it to where when I click a button for another page, it plays the out animation for the current page, then the in animation for the page selected. Basically, for example:
Frames 1-10 are the out animation for a page, frames 20-30 are the in animation for page 2. When I click the button for page 2, I want it to play 1-10, then jump to and play 20-30.
