I've been trying to load xml data into a movie clip that's 2 levels into the main timeline, and it's not working....
If movie clip is it the main timeline everything works fine.
I'm assuming that xml only loads into the main timeframe, and that's the problem, but I'm not sure....

In the movie clip im doing i have few animation and transitions in movie clips. When some movie clips are click the open a text information and that text is the dynamic text that i want to load the xml file that havethe information to be displayed.[code]...
How ever if i place the dynamic text on the root and this code it does work. The issue here is that i need it to load when the movie clip of the text is loaded in the scene. i heard something about specifying inside the xml object the movie clip name but i couldn't understand a thing the guy tried to explain.
I can send the source files if needed to undestand more. the preview of the page is in here[url]...When you click the MRI image a text field will appear saying loading... that where the xml file should load.
if it is possible to load a movie clip into a blank movie clip?On my main timeline I have a button (mode_btn) and I want to be able to click it and load another movie clip (mode_options_mc) into a blank movie clip I have (mode_empty_mc). Is this even possible?

This is what I've tried so far:

Although it throws no errors, the setInterval is ignored and it just loads direct into the next mc clip.
We have implemented a Flash photo slideshow on our site and it works just fine for most of our users. Whenever the xml.load(success) returns false I have the Flash email me a debug report. For the life of me I can not find a common thread between all of these people having problems with the Flash. I don't think it's a cross-domain issue because it works for most people, and I have the crossdomain.xml files where they should be.

How can I change color of mcOksid(testing.fla), but color will be change when i push a upload buttom? WHen i push reset buttom, the color will come back to default.
Second problem, in testing.fla in layer OKSID, i have mcOksid and mcOksid2. Know if i change color of mcOksid to blue, mcOksid2 has to be blue too.
What I'd like to do is have a checkbox, that when it is checked it loads a movie into an empty movie clip, and when it is unchecked, it loads a different movie into the empty movie clip.Also if possible I'd like to find a way to output to a variable whether the same checkbox is checked or not. And send the info from the variable in an email.

for some reason it will load if i use loadMovieNum () but the registration point is in the top right corner and i don't want that.What's the best way to debug this?When i use test movie the output window dosen't show an error but something's wrong.how can I test if is a path problem? A problem with the loaded movie or a problem with something else? the movie new002.swf is 393KB. I tired making a smaller 2kbmovie using the code above and it wouldn't load either.
I have a site with a container clip which all other content loads into. When one movie loads, it has a button that I'd like to be able to click to go to another page in the site (ie. unload it's parent movie and load another swf into the same container clip.
How can I address the parent container clip and tell it to unload this movie and load another swf into it?
Just upgraded to CS4/AS3, and I can't figure out how to load one .swf after another, llowing each to be run once, and only once. I don't think I should have to alter the target movies, as I should be ale to tell when the laoded movie is at it's last frame.So I have an string[] that holds the filenames of the target swfs to load. I followed a tutorial about using the XML connector component, that has to do with loading text into a text area for example�.everything works great!...but I keep wondering is it all possible for the data �text� that is coming from the XML file to trigger a movie clip that�s placed on the stage already�or library�.or change visibility� or play this or that movie clip?..

the status part only changes between 2 numbers..0 and 1�.is it possible to make those numbers in the XML trigger a movie clip to play or show itself?

i found an example online where bombs falling from the sky remove circles from a grass field, and a moving character can interact with the newly made circles(go into them). i dissected the code to the point where the only thing that happens now is that you click on the field and remove a circle:

The code I'm using is this on(release){contentbox.loadMovie("contact.swf",0);}It works fine in terms of loading, but it loads the swf so that the top left corner is in the center of the content box, pushing the bottom and right part of the content way off screen.

I have done this before and have no idea why it is not working. When I publish the movie I get no error reports.Here is the script:
