Nov 8, 2010When i embed a flash video in HTML it works in IE and in Firefox but not in chrome. I've looked it up and I've found that chrome adds two attributes to the embed tag, width and height. i have already set the width and height attribute in the embed tag in pixels but from some reason chrome changes it to percentage. when i inspect the element and write pixels instead of percentage the flash is visible again.

C# :: Embedded Flash Player Doesn't Load?
Feb 5, 2011I wrote a program in C# that, when a user press a button, opens a new form containing an embedded flash object. The flash application needs the user to be logged in, so i added to the source something like
swf.SetVariable("__ses", sid);
This works fine for 2 user testing the application, while the third one can succesfully open one table, while all the others appear "black", just like if the loader can't get past the loading step.

Nov 12, 2008just downloaded the flash cs4 trail, very nice some of the irritating IDE bugs are gone that i had on my mac, and didn't had on windows. but enough of that
The first project i checked out, a bug jumps up.when you create a texfield on stage, make it html text. set it to verdana or arial regular, emded the basic symbols.give the textfield a name and try to make some bold text using actionscript.

preview it and every thing stays regular.the only way to get right is to embed the font styles in your library. but for some of the more special symbols, that's not good enough.that's the only reason i re-installed flash cs3, after thinking maybe that was the problem.

ActionScript 3.0 :: Can't Search In Forum?

I'm trying to search for "Flashthusiast.com" in the Flash section, but all I get is a bunch of icons in the left column with a second column that says: "in Flash". No subject line, nothing. Is this a bug? Or, am I seeing something different than others?
Anyhow, when reading about creating in Flash in the user manual, I'm referred to Flashthusiast.com for sample AS3 code for button behaviors, but Norton Internet Explorer classify that site as dangerous. Has anyone visited it recently?? Why would Abode refer me to that site if it is dangerous?

Sep 10, 2009I recently made a .swf file which is hosted here [URL] as you can see the hyperlinks work fine and go to the correct sites. My question and impass is that whenever I post this same file as a forum signature it works fine but when I click on the hyperlinks they don't bring up the websites they act like they are dead.
btw the hyperlinks are just Text that I changed to Dynamic text with urls.

The font-family worked to all componentes, but not to the Alert component. In alert the text message and title got unvisible. If I change to other font-family it works correctly, just the embedded font doesn't work on Alert component. Anyone got this problem? Obs: The embedded font worked in all the app, just the Alert no.

Jun 11, 2010I would like to point out that I am not an employee of either Comedy Central, The Daily Show or the website. The labels 'Production Assistant' and 'Intern' are just the sites rankings descriptions.There is an assumption by iPad owners, that all Flash websites must be converted to be compatible with the iPad, rather than the iPad should be compatible with existing websites.Is it worth continuing to defend against this assumption? Should we just give in to these people or try to engage them in a discussion, get them to demand Flash support from Apple?

Jan 29, 2011Searching for "8kHz" yielded two results but doesn't show the search result titles or the links to get to the post, though it does show links to the forum itself and the user who posted the result. Same results no matter what I searched for, though if I initiate the search initially from the top level Forum, the search results work as expected.

Time location of playback head (so I can display the current time in the browser extension via HTML5/JavaScript) Frames (so I can make capture them to an image file, save it and display image in browser extension) Original Dimensions in pixels (so I can display the original video dimensions via JS/HTML5 in browser extension)
Is this possible by using Javascript and HTML5 from a browser extension?
