View 1 RepliesI'm an actionscript beginner and am trying to create a flash file with a button that allows to user to swith from viewing my movie in their browser, to viewing it full screen.I've managed to source some code from the net, and although when I click my 'toggle button' the full screen works perfectly...when I click it again the flash file returns to the original browser window but I dont see my movie - just my back ground fill colour.The code I have is as follows (and is placed on frame 01 of my actions layer)

to open the page on default browser. Only problem is the browser window is opening at the size it was last used. I like to see it opens full screen.
The title essentially is the question, how do I open the .swf without the browser's control bar junk? and maximize the window?

I cannot get a simple swf to show up in when uploaded. It is a simple .swf file in a index page. It shows up correctly when I test locally but when I upload I get nothing. I have checked all of the links and the files are in the same directory so no links got broken. Also in Dreamweaver I see all of the files sitting up there on the server. I am posting link and the code to see if anything jumps out that I am just overlooking. Also when I test the same index page with just text on there it uploads and displays correctly but will not recognize the swf file.

Adobe AIR provides Alert.show(). However this seems to fail if there is no top level window like in the typical tray example ("Example: Creating an application with no windows"):

I have a Flex application that builds and runs from Eclipse without any problems. I've created an Ant build based on the sample provided by Adobe and builds the application and packages it up into an AIR application. No errors occur during the build process and an AIR file is created.The problem is that when I install the AIR application and run it, there is no UI at all. The process is running because I can see it in Task Manager but I can't see the app window. I've commented out all of my initial code so just the first window should appear but still nothing.
