Aug 30, 2010I need to find a flash video player that is free and open source. I love flowplayer and jwplayer but we fit into their most expensive licenses. It will cost us over $1400 to license flowplayer for our use. We don't have that right now.
I just need a flash player with a basic javascript api that is truly free. I have been googling for hours and nothing so far.
It would be a huge plus if someone knows of a chromeless youtube player that uses the youtube as3 api. I don't have time right now to code an entire chromeless player complete with all the controls and a progress bar.

In the second chapter it teaches you how to integrate the login for to another app.Basically I'm looking for a book that teaches you real working application rather than abstract ideas. Basically the user will rate the video (stars or thumbs up) from 1-5, have the new rating process and improve or lower the video rating automatically. For the comments the user will be able to write and send the comment and then either have it posted automatically with the option for the site moderator to erase any offensive comment or have it sent to a database for approval first and then post it by the site moderator. I assume I need a php form and action script code?

Aug 26, 2010i have a Air Project in which i have added three extenal source folders. but when i reopen project or strat flash builder again i get icon on those folder like this but when i open the configuration for that project and try to validate the path and adding it again i get message like this but the path is valid. proof is this pic what could be possible error,,, is there any way that i when ever re-open project i get no warning and able to navigate through the linked source code. now i am doing it
1- deleting on of the linked folder
2- again adding that folder.

Feb 9, 2010I have a textbox where there should be a 1 to 5 star classification for a movie, so I used the star symbol (character code 0xAB) from the Wingdings Symbol Font. But instead of the stars, What I get is double angular quotes in Arial, the corresponding character in a normal text font: «
In fact, every Wingding character above 0x80 (included) is displayed in Arial instead of Wingdings. This also seems to happen with all Symbol fonts.
I've also made Wingdings into a font symbol but the problem still happens. It also happens in static text boxes.
To reproduce the error just make a text box and set the font to Wingdings. Now type something and it shows in Wingdings but press ALT+0171 (or copy the star from the Character Map app) and instead of a star, you get double angular quotes.

ActionScript 2.0 :: Background Flv Video On Star Trek Site?
May 30, 2009This is other part to my earlier question that i posted before for those of you that came across it.Part 2: What i'm actually looking for is to do something similar to the Star Trek Movie website [URL]..for those unfamiliar. The bit that im looking for is a solution to achieve the full screen video background they have that simulates the user walking through the starship. Everytime you navigate to a different part of the website, this background video walks you through to another section of the ship.
I'm presuming its all flv, and i'm presuming its one big flv file divided into various "scenes", as the problem with having a seperate flv file for each "scene" is that it take a few seconds to load in between flv's and you get a blank white screen for a few moments (i've tried). Am i presuming the right method to go about achieving what they've done?
