ActionScript 3.0 :: Play Multiple Flv's As If It Was A Single Video

I am trying to build a video player in flash that would be able to play multiple flv's as if it was a single video. I come running to you because I don't really know how to go about doing this. I know how to load in an flv and play it, but I want to load in say 3 flv's and play them, the thing I'm stuck on is, do I need to create multiple net streams?
How can I tell the swf to start loading in the next flv when the first one is 90% loaded...? I see you can play an flv, by passing a url to the play method of the net stream object, but how can i get an flv to be on 'stand by' and load in, and add it when the first flv is at 100% finished playing?

I have figured out how to play a sound with AS3, but i cannt figure out how to use multiple sounds. to play a single mp3, i am using this:

I have 4 live f4vs that I'm using with interactive server 3.5. Thus they are running in dvr. I'm trying to find a way to control all 4 videos so that when you go back on one video all 4 videos go back to the same time. This is very important with camera 4 as it is the only one with sound.I have tried putting all 4 videos in one swf file and I have tried putting each video as its own swf.

I'm trying to create an flv player to play a single video from a website. I can't seem to resize the playback window. Altering the width just seems to move the same small window around the screen.
Ideally I'd like it to go full-screen or at least fill the browser window. However, I don't even seem to have basic control at the moment. What am I doing wrong here?
Also, (and maybe this is related), I couldn't import fl.video.* in Flex Builder without placing the component first in my library resource using Flash. Is it possible to bypass this step and import directly in Flex Builder?

I have 3D videos encoded with each eye's content side-by-side on each frame. What I want to do is take the left-half and over-lay it on the right-half. (I'll then change with the colors and the overlaying so that someone with blue-cyan 3D glasses can view the video).
I tried to attach a single NetStream to two video objects and offset them, but that only let the stream play on one object.

I am using Flash Media server 4.5 and i read the tutorial if i want to stream the live feed, i may need to use the media live encoder.
but what i found in media encoder is i have to manually setup everything and it only support camera devices. But in my case i have multiple video files keep received from another program and place it on file system (server),my goal is use the Flash Media server to perform a live boardcasting with these video file one by one. That means when client watching a live streaming, they will not notice the server is playing mov1, then mov2, then mov3, then mov4... and so on.
You can imagine i am trying to boardcast a live footage say for 60sec, but the video file will not recorded entirely after 60sec, instead for every 10sec i will save a new video file, so that when client watching the live by HLS [URL]when the time reach to 10sec, a mov1 video file available and FMS should boardcast this video on live123.when the time reach to 20sec, a mov2 video file available and FMS should Immediately follow the mov1 boardcast on live123.and so on...Also can FMS dynamically create a new streaming session (invoke by code), so that when client A uploading some video files to the server, the FMS open a new streaming session only stream cilent A video files?the configuration to boardcasting like screen size, bit rate, etc should be pre-defined on the server. I want a chart that has several separate series running in rows across. They are largely separate charts and should not overlap, but all share the same horizontal datetimeaxis. They don't share the same y-axis, however and that's where I'm getting stuck.I have tried having a linechart series and then a plotchart series, but it will only allow a single <mx:series> per chart without having them inside the same series which as far as I can tell will place the charts on top of each other in the z-axis. I can stack them and have them completely separate charts, but it was proving to be somewhat irritating having them align correctly.
Is there any reasonable way of combining multiple charts into one like this? Basically having rows in a table where each row is a different chart but the columns are consistent. or am I going to be best served just by stacking separate ones? an illustration of what i'm going for is here: http:[url]........

In one of our project we are using flex for front end, blazeds/java in the backend. Its an existing code where services are prewritten. I have to make calls to 3 services in the backend (basically 3 remote objects) and get their result and store the result in an object and show the data of this object in a view.
Now in front end we are using Flex and Parsley Framework. I was thinking of the following approaches.
1) Making commands for each service call and storing the result in a shared object (model) and then displaying this model in the view. In this approach the problem is some services are needed in some other web pages, but they donot need the same model. How should i handle this scenario ? Should i make a asynchronous remote call and fetch the result and then again dispatch and event with the event object storing the result.
2) Making a service call , wait for the result then make another call and wait for the result and then make other call, not sure if this is the right way ?

What I have done:
1/ A very simple Flash movie
2/ 5 very basic rollover buttons
What I want to happen:Everytime I'd hover the mouse on each button, I would like the background animation to run. And have the animation stop on mouseout for each button.I was able to make it on one button via this tutorial: [URL]But this doesn't seem to work with multiple buttons involved.

I'd like to use the same music player displayed multiple times on the same page, one for each song. But when songs are played, I want the existing play to stop. For example:
song1
song2
song3
I click to play song1, while it's playing, I decide to play song3 instead. Based on the default setup, song3 will start playing while song1 continues to play. I'd like song1 to stop when song3 starts.

I have done words animation in flash and converted as swf. I have more than 300 small swf files. Now I have to merge all these files in to a single swf. Is there any software to merge multiple files to a single file. I don't want to use loadMovie, because I haven't used script in any of these files. Since it is an urgent project, I can't add code in all these files.

I am trying to use an existing link with a flash file that is functional to also link to another page at the same time. Basically I am using Joomla and I have a flash file that has menus and pictures and such. I want to be able to click on a link within the flash file and still have it do its given function of pulling up an image or opening another menu or whatever the current function of that link is. The problem I am having is that I also want this link when clicked to navigate to a specific url to show aditional content on one of the Joolma pages.when one of the links in the flash file is click and it pulls up a specific image within the flash file.I want it to also pull up text or other content below my flash file that goes along with the image.

I'm extremely new to Flash and I am making a website and want to have a single button that when pressed pauses or plays a music file. I was able to create one that works by following a tutorial that I found online but the problem is that the button is on the main timeline so as I move away from it, it stops working. I think that it would work better if I was able to make a movie clip out of the button so that it doesn't sit on the main timeline and will keep working no matter where I am on the timeline. All I need is one button that pauses and plays music when pressed. I also want to be able to have a "music on" line of text and "music off" line of text depending on whether the music is playing or not.

I'm interested in making a stereoscopic player similar to YouTube's 3D Player. The first strategy I tried is having two streams (one for each eye) attached to two video objects, but I noticed that this could lead to problems with them going off sync due to separate buffering issues. So now I'm thinking the way to do it is to encode the two eyes side-by-side into one video, and do some Flash trickery whereby I can take the left side and overlay it with the right side.
I suspect that this is how YouTube does this, because they ask you to upload 3D videos in a side-by-side format in the first place. I don't know how to do that Flash trickery, where I essentially take a video's left-half and overlay it with it's right-half. I tried attaching one stream to two video objects that were offset from each other, but only one of the streams played.

'm extremely new to Flash and I don't really know how to code yet.. I'm making a website and want to have a single button that when pressed either plays or pauses the music file. I found a tutorial that worked but it has two buttons (one for play and one for stop). I have a button that I want to work on multiple frames. Currently, I have a scene that automatically starts to play when the playhead enters the first frame (no stop command). I have an event listener in the first frame that listens for a click. After the click the user is supposed to go to another scene.
The problem is that the button is not working. I am assuming that the code in the first frame only applies to the first frame and I need to add additional code that applies as the playhead is playing across the multiple frames.

I'm really new to flash, and just taking an intro level course at the moment.Anyways, for one of my projects,I wanted to load some .jpg files onto the stage, and make buttons from certain aspects of the image.So for example,I have an image of a coconut that I wanted to make a button out of.Right now I am trying to use the pen tool to outline the shape of the coconut, and then create a symbol from the pen tools shape.However, I'm obviously not doing something right, as when I turn the image into a symbol, instead of creating a button symbol from my outline with the pen tool, it just turns my whole .jpg file into a symbol.
I want to be able to make multiple clickable buttons from a single image,I know how the coding will work once I can make the individual buttons, but right now I seem to be missing a step.
