I have to export my animation to a video file type such as .AVI or .WMV to put in on a DVD. Using the export function in Flash delivers a kind of blurry videofile with too much noise. Is there perhaps another way (or another program) to convert .FLA (or .SWF) to video? Install better codecs, maybe?
View 3 Repliesexport an animation sequence from flash to a video format. Looks like flash has Quicktime and Avi as options. However they both produce poor and jerky results. My animation is 750 by 545 pixels and running at 20fps - I have tried upping it to 25fps to see if it is a frame rate mismatch issue but similar rsults. For the record the anim plays perfectly as a swf. I have tried a third party swf to flv converter as flv is the format I desire but still jerky irregular playback
How can I get around this?
I'm exporting some 1280x720 HD vid from a typical vector cartoon made in flash. I've used PNG, Animation, and 8bit Uncompressed and still my vid looks pixelated in the fine details. Exporting a still the same size gives clean results. Any magic setting I'm missing to make this look better?
Adding example of pixelated fine lines in uncompressed video.
I would like export Flash fla to video to be played in video player, how should I do?
View 1 RepliesI have created an animation using illustrator files in AE CS3 and now want to convert this to flash so it will play on my website. The problem I am having (or rather my web designer) is getting the transparency in flash.
1. How should I export out of AE
2. Do I need to bring the video into Flash and export out of there to get the transparency?
3. Can this workflow even be done?
4. What is the best way for me to deliver the files to my web designer?
I have attached a movie file of the look I am going for. The birds were done in AE and I want them to move across my home page.
Attachments:Hone Bird Anim DEMO.mov (983.4 K)
I am trying to export a flash animation as a mov, so i can convert it for html5. When I export the movie, the animation has artifacts in it, strange things do not erase correctly, they do not show when i view it in Flash, or when I view the exported flv file.
So as you can see, there is a 1/2 drawn image. They round things are floating down, but for some reason, as they float down to stack, they leave behind some partial images.
I created animation using AS3. Actions are distributed in main timeline. I created frame event listener, wich set a current frame of several MovieClips. But when i export video, AS3 isn't executed.
View 1 Replieswhenever i try to put video into a flash movie it works perfectly, but when i export the movie into AVI it loses the original video's sound.
View 3 RepliesI am having an issue with turning my SWF into an FLV. I have actionscript that plays some audio clips and of course it all plays fine as a SWF, but how do I get it to retain all of the functionality when I export it to an FLV? The method I was trying is exporting to an AVI, opening up Flash Video Encoder, and converting the AVI to an FLV, but it comes out all messed up. I'm new to this converting stuff.
View 1 RepliesI'm trying to make a new site (Green DNA) and wanted to use a combination of flash and html At the top, I wanted to have the navigation bar as flash, and below the html content (like for example a blog).I wanted to create some cool animations using After Effects, and import them into flash. I was planing to use around 250-300 frames of animation total (800x270 pixels) and keep it the whole .SWF file below 2MB
My first attempt was to export the video from AE as a .SWF but the result was a 10 MB file Then, I tried to export as a PNG or jpg animation sequence... I was able to reduced each frame to about 27.0kb but the result was around 6mb file Then, I tried saving the animation as a .mp4 file (around 2mb) but I couldn't figure out how to imported on flash (I was using adobe bridge, but It kept changing my 800x270 pixel video into something that I didn't approved ( I tried multiple settings)
I have made my site and now the protocols of Flash wont allow the internet to playback the video, I dont know if you understand me but this is the message I am getting every time I try to open my finished SWF Project."The following local aplication on your computer is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location: my site IP" I looked for the location to allow the settings yet I cant find it.
View 2 RepliesI have created animation using Actionscript and I want to export it as Video . As I understand Flash by defautl can only export timeline animations (no Acationscript) ;/ I need best possible quality. I need solution for windows. I thought about:
- screen video capture tool - do you know good one for this job?
- some 'SWF to Video' tool - iI tried few but no one works as expected - some have pure quality (even if the best quality is set) others won't display or fail to convert ;/
Is there a way to export it as AVI or any file type that support HD and get the same out put in SWF, i tried to export but the final output is very weak
View 3 Replieswhat are the best settings to export .mov file? I have 1280x720 movie and I can export it no problem but sometimes it skips or gets stuck when I play it. I'm not sure if it's my video card or the actual file. I was using the H.264 setting and compressor quality best.

View 1 RepliesRecently i have visited so many video enriched flash site like this one [URL] Most of them shows video in full size. I downloaded the video using FF plugin. Video framesize is very small compared to the stage size. When i tried to add video and resize the video acoording to the page size , it slows the browser. I tried to embed the flv inside an swf and loaded the swf using normal loader and plyed it.. but the quallity and performance comapred to these site is very low..
View 3 Replieshow do I export an FLV from Flash CS4?It's just a silly video, a tweened circle, but I need it to be an flv.
View 5 RepliesI've been trying to export my .fla as a .mov from the Export>Export Movie option in the File menu. It will start exporting but once the progress meter gets to the end it just stops and never finishes.
I don't think it has anything to do with:
A: multiple scenes
B: actionscript directing to each scene
C: movieclips
since I was doing the exact same thing in CS3 without a problem.
What i'm doing now in CS4 that I wasn't in the CS3 version:
A: Motion tweens
B: importing .ai files to my library
C: using symbols created for flash in illustrator from imported .ai files.
How do I export an FLV from Flash CS4?
It's just a silly video, a tweened circle, but I need it to be an flv.
I need to export a 60 animation from flash. It has text and image animation on the timeline, no actionscript. The swf file when published is 5 mb. When I export as an .mov, it is 768 mb. Also, there is some jumping and stuttering.
View 1 Repliesi used cs4 for around a week, and it hasnt crashed once until today and today it crashed because of a actionscript error when i tried to test it....so i fixed the error and tried to test it again.it doesnt work everytime i try testing or publish now, it just crashes no crash report, just disappear from the screen.
View 1 RepliesI have made a christmas card in flash - but I need to export it as an animated gif of it - which I can do easily enough - my proble is the quality - it defaults to screen 72dpi but if I want better resolution it increases not only the DPI but the actual file dimensions - mega large. How can I get around 150-200 DPI and retain the original canvas size?

View 6 RepliesEvery time I try to export from flash as a quicktime, in my exported file pieces of animation keep getting left behind as residue of some sort, and it's messing up the video. I've included a link to a youtube video of what I'm looking at, the video doesn't run real smoothly in youtube but I think it should be clear what the problem is.
View 1 RepliesI created a short animation using a series of photos stop-motion style, only about 18 frames long (as part of a larger project) Whenever i try to export it into SWF (Either CTRL+ENTER or the FILE>EXPORT method) the time it takes is super-fast, but no file is created. When the export was done with a previous successful export, it simply dissapeared
