Video's Sound Won't Export
Apr 15, 2006whenever i try to put video into a flash movie it works perfectly, but when i export the movie into AVI it loses the original video's sound.

Dec 4, 2011I have a sound file in my library that plays perfectly in the library - a song with jingle bell accompaniment.When the animation is saved as a swf file, the song is there, but the jingle bell accompaniment isn't.When I extract the audio track from the flash file with AVS software,the jingle bell accompaniment is missing.
Background:I do not have the original recording that I imported to my Flash project.Even when I did have it, the jingle bell percussion was missing. I don't knowt how to get the sound file out of the library to save it individually (in case re-importing it would solve the problem)I don't know how to make the sound file play when I'm working on the file. (If I did, maybe I could adjust it in the timeline?)

Feb 2, 2012It seems like we have hit a limit in how many assets (movieclips/sounds etc) that we can have in our library. We can export at the moment, but if we put in another cutscene or sound flash wont export. It shows the progress bar but when its done the .swf dosent show up and cannot be found in the project folder. Does anyone have a clue on whats going on? We've been working on this game for the past 5 months (full time) and we'd be devastated if all our time and effort has been in vain.

Apr 12, 2011I have a 5 minute flash movie that has great sound synchronization with the motion when I export as a SWF. However, when I export as a Quicktime file (.mov), sometimes the sound is ahead of the image. Is there a setting I can tweak during Export to remedy this? (so far I have tried to save the Video as "H.264" as well as "Animation". And for sound I have had no luck with the setting of "None" or "Apple Lossless."

I have actionscript that plays some audio clips and of course it all plays fine as a SWF, but how do I get it to retain all of the functionality when I export it to an FLV? The method I was trying is exporting to an AVI, opening up Flash Video Encoder, and converting the AVI to an FLV, but it comes out all messed up. I'm new to this converting stuff.

Aug 16, 2010I'm trying to make a new site (Green DNA) and wanted to use a combination of flash and html At the top, I wanted to have the navigation bar as flash, and below the html content (like for example a blog).I wanted to create some cool animations using After Effects, and import them into flash. I was planing to use around 250-300 frames of animation total (800x270 pixels) and keep it the whole .SWF file below 2MB
My first attempt was to export the video from AE as a .SWF but the result was a 10 MB file Then, I tried to export as a PNG or jpg animation sequence... I was able to reduced each frame to about 27.0kb but the result was around 6mb file Then, I tried saving the animation as a .mp4 file (around 2mb) but I couldn't figure out how to imported on flash (I was using adobe bridge, but It kept changing my 800x270 pixel video into something that I didn't approved ( I tried multiple settings)

Nov 3, 2009I have to export my animation to a video file type such as .AVI or .WMV to put in on a DVD. Using the export function in Flash delivers a kind of blurry videofile with too much noise. Is there perhaps another way (or another program) to convert .FLA (or .SWF) to video? Install better codecs, maybe?

Dec 6, 2010export an animation sequence from flash to a video format. Looks like flash has Quicktime and Avi as options. However they both produce poor and jerky results. My animation is 750 by 545 pixels and running at 20fps - I have tried upping it to 25fps to see if it is a frame rate mismatch issue but similar rsults. For the record the anim plays perfectly as a swf. I have tried a third party swf to flv converter as flv is the format I desire but still jerky irregular playback
How can I get around this?

- some 'SWF to Video' tool - iI tried few but no one works as expected - some have pure quality (even if the best quality is set) others won't display or fail to convert ;/

Oct 15, 2009I'm exporting some 1280x720 HD vid from a typical vector cartoon made in flash. I've used PNG, Animation, and 8bit Uncompressed and still my vid looks pixelated in the fine details. Exporting a still the same size gives clean results. Any magic setting I'm missing to make this look better?

Apr 30, 2011I have a website [URL] when I go there if I click the video archives button then play a video then click on the home or photos button or one of the alternate background buttons on the left the video goes away as it should but not always the audio (especially when I click while the video is still buffering). Is there a command I can use to kill the sound from the flvPlayback component and nothing else(I have a mp3 player there also I so I don't want to use the SoundMatrix class. btw the videos are all played on an instance of the flvPlayback component.

Jun 9, 2010I have an AS3 video player I've put together using fairly standard Netstream method and it plays my flv's fine. The problem is, the sound quality varies wildly depending on who is looking at it. When I test locally, the audio in the video is fine, but on a windows machine it goes horrifically loud to the point of distortion, also the client (outside the UK) has said it sounds fine to them, so It appears to be only happening here.

We will have music playing in the background (not on the timeline - in the actionscript). The full presentation will run automatically - no user interaction, and therefore, I need the background music to automatically fade out when the video starts, and then fade back in when the video ends.

Jul 27, 2010what are the best settings to export .mov file? I have 1280x720 movie and I can export it no problem but sometimes it skips or gets stuck when I play it. I'm not sure if it's my video card or the actual file. I was using the H.264 setting and compressor quality best.

Mar 14, 2012I am trying to export a flash animation as a mov, so i can convert it for html5. When I export the movie, the animation has artifacts in it, strange things do not erase correctly, they do not show when i view it in Flash, or when I view the exported flv file.
So as you can see, there is a 1/2 drawn image. They round things are floating down, but for some reason, as they float down to stack, they leave behind some partial images.
