I'm exporting some 1280x720 HD vid from a typical vector cartoon made in flash. I've used PNG, Animation, and 8bit Uncompressed and still my vid looks pixelated in the fine details. Exporting a still the same size gives clean results. Any magic setting I'm missing to make this look better?

I am currently working on a flash website that has several flv videos on it. Since the website layout has a slight tilt, I have had to transform the videos to slightly tilt as well. The problem that I am having is that when I do this the image becomes very pixelated and the edges of the video become jagged. I have somewhat fixed the edges issue by making a mask around it but i really dont know how to make the resolution better, or what causes it to loose resolution when slightly transformed. The size of the videos is the same as encoded. All I do is tilt them upwards on the right side a bit.

I have Flash CS3 and I want to export my animation as a movie. However my animation is in a clip and my clip is on the timeline. For some reason it only exports the first frame of the clip.
View 2 RepliesI have to export my animation to a video file type such as .AVI or .WMV to put in on a DVD. Using the export function in Flash delivers a kind of blurry videofile with too much noise. Is there perhaps another way (or another program) to convert .FLA (or .SWF) to video? Install better codecs, maybe?
View 3 Repliesexport an animation sequence from flash to a video format. Looks like flash has Quicktime and Avi as options. However they both produce poor and jerky results. My animation is 750 by 545 pixels and running at 20fps - I have tried upping it to 25fps to see if it is a frame rate mismatch issue but similar rsults. For the record the anim plays perfectly as a swf. I have tried a third party swf to flv converter as flv is the format I desire but still jerky irregular playback
How can I get around this?

View 1 RepliesI have created an animation using illustrator files in AE CS3 and now want to convert this to flash so it will play on my website.The problem I am having (or rather my web designer) is getting the transparency in flash.
1. How should I export out of AE
2. Do I need to bring the video into Flash and export out of there to get the transparency?
3. Can this workflow even be done?
4. What is the best way for me to deliver the files to my web designer?

I am trying to export a flash animation as a mov, so i can convert it for html5. When I export the movie, the animation has artifacts in it, strange things do not erase correctly, they do not show when i view it in Flash, or when I view the exported flv file.
So as you can see, there is a 1/2 drawn image. They round things are floating down, but for some reason, as they float down to stack, they leave behind some partial images.
I created animation using AS3. Actions are distributed in main timeline. I created frame event listener, wich set a current frame of several MovieClips. But when i export video, AS3 isn't executed.

I have actionscript that plays some audio clips and of course it all plays fine as a SWF, but how do I get it to retain all of the functionality when I export it to an FLV? The method I was trying is exporting to an AVI, opening up Flash Video Encoder, and converting the AVI to an FLV, but it comes out all messed up. I'm new to this converting stuff.
View 1 RepliesI'm trying to make a new site (Green DNA) and wanted to use a combination of flash and html At the top, I wanted to have the navigation bar as flash, and below the html content (like for example a blog).I wanted to create some cool animations using After Effects, and import them into flash. I was planing to use around 250-300 frames of animation total (800x270 pixels) and keep it the whole .SWF file below 2MB
My first attempt was to export the video from AE as a .SWF but the result was a 10 MB file Then, I tried to export as a PNG or jpg animation sequence... I was able to reduced each frame to about 27.0kb but the result was around 6mb file Then, I tried saving the animation as a .mp4 file (around 2mb) but I couldn't figure out how to imported on flash (I was using adobe bridge, but It kept changing my 800x270 pixel video into something that I didn't approved ( I tried multiple settings)
I created a flash image gallery for my site but the images look pixelated. I really don't like the way they look. Im fairly new to web design and very new to flash.
View 3 RepliesI've got a FLA file making an animated banner. When I export it as an animated GIF, the background (which originally is a solid color) has either dots or crosses making up the color. I've tried different settings such as dithering, changing the palette but have had no luck. And I'm using one of the 256 colors. Using a FLA that did have a good solid bg converted animated GIF, I tried to export that one as well and it comes up with the same problem. So that means it's not the color/fla that is wrong, but is my exporting to animated gif method.

I am facing a problem: graphic pixelated issue. I have created some images in photoshop and want to import to flash. However i realized from my fren that it has got to do with photoshop which is in raster type while flash it in vector style that's why it appears to be pixelated in flash.

- screen video capture tool - do you know good one for this job?
- some 'SWF to Video' tool - iI tried few but no one works as expected - some have pure quality (even if the best quality is set) others won't display or fail to convert ;/
I have created an image in photoshop (96dpi, same as my monitor) and imported it as a png into flash where it becomes a bitmap. Once I had imported the image I went to library and allowed smoothing on the image and set it to lossless. It performs a motion tween and simply flys from one side of my movie to the other. However, the whole way it appears pixelated. I had done this on a previous movie with the same image, just with a different animation and I had the same problem. But in this case the 'allow smoothing' worked. Not this time though.

View 1 RepliesRecently i had a problem with my flash player after installing a Windows Update (not sure if its related). Movies played on sites like YouTube became out of sync and pixelated. Im not exactly sure how to explain this, so i uploaded a few pictures of the issue.
[URL] The sound is normal and the only thing affected if the video. If is there is any sudden movement in the video, it will distort the image. using v10.2 and am on Win7 x64. Viewing the video's in Firefox. I had the same issue on my older computer a while back using Vista x64 in both Firefox and IE. The problem on my older computer was resolved by simply restarting the computer. But this time that didnt work. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash, and restarted multiple times
I have imported two images from PS to Flash in PNG format. They are the perfect size and ready to use (i.e. not scaling these images). When I convert them to movies, the animation looks great in Flash, but when I export them they only look good when I have the HTML settings set to "Best". If I don't have this setting on, it looks like crap (i.e. very jagged). These are photos btw, not vector images or shapes.
The reason I want this to be optimized without the control of HTML is because I am creating web banners for advertising. When I submit my swf file to the webmaster, they basically will embed the swf with whatever settings they choose. If they don't have the setting on "Best", the file looks like crap. Allow smoothing is on.
1. When I import the PNG image, can I safely select JPG compression via the Bitmap Properties? Or do I need to keep it as lossless? If I select JPG, I can considerably reduce the filesize, although I'm not sure if that causes the images to look jagged as well.
2. Is there anything I can do outside the HTML settings to display my animations without the jagged edges? I need to keep my filesize under 50Kb which is pretty hard when working with photos and animation etc.
I am making a simple little movie that reads an XML file, gets the url of the most recent nodes image and displays it.I have everything working, but the image gets pixelated when it gets sized down, and I cannot figure out how to enable smoothing with my code.I am new to A.S. so I am fumbling my way through something this advanced. In this I am dynamically loading jpegs... however, if the swf is displaying at anything other than its original size the jpegs look clumsily pixelated... which would be understandable if they were bigger than their native size, but it also happens when theyre smaller....
