Data Integration :: Adding Text Directly Into Keyframes, Creating Tweens?

I would like to create a Word Document and import that word document into Flash. I'm not talking about data integration from an outside file, but literally taking text from a text/word document and Flash create the timelines and tweens based on paragraph breaks, etc. Is there a component available that will do this. I have foreign Flash developers that don't understand English very well, and we have 6 to 10 minute movies that are basically text.This would increase our production significantly.
I'm looking to build an app for viewing motion JPEG (MJPEG) streams directly from IP/Network cameras. Does anyone know where I can find useful information on this or even if it's possible at all?
I'd like to know if there's a way to take data entered into a field in flash, save it, and call it later via an object.I don't want anyone to walk me through it if there is, that's not what I'm asking. I'm just asking what I need to know in order to do this. I'd like to build a certain flash app that takes information (such as a name, paragraph, and/or sentence) saves it, and can then be recalled when a user clicks a button... even if the user has closed out the application.I'm still relatively new to flash, I know enough to get by on basic projects, but I want to expand my knowledge so I don't end up stuck in a beginners rut.Would this require using PHP and Flash? Or can it be done entirely in flash via exporting data to a designated external file?

I'm trying to create a flash animation of a wing flapping using three keyframes. The first keyframe is at frame 1. I then created a second keyframe at frame 5 by pressing F6, and then I created another keyframe at frame 10 by pressing F6. At frame 5, I rotated the wing so that it is going up. Frame 10 is the same as frame 1.frame 1: frame 5: frame 10: I right clicked on a frame between frames 5 and 10 and then clicked the first optio , "Create Motion Tween"; I then performed the same action on a frame between frames 1 and 5. When I preview or test the movie, there is no transition between the frames. From frame 1 to 5, there is supposed to be a transition of the wing flapping up. From frame 5 to 10, there is supposed to be a transition of the wing flapping downwards to its initial position. Instead, when I test the movie, the wing remains still until frame 5 and instantly goes to its "wing up state" and when it gets to frame 10, instantly goes to its "wing down state". I'm using Flash CS4 to make the animation but the tutorial I'm following is using Flash CS3. I know I can use other methods to create the motion tween but I want to know why the method I'm using isn't working.
I am working on an online poker game for a client. I am in charge of the design phase and somebody else is involved with the back end. He sent me an group of API formated to fit in to Action Script. I am not sure how to proceed. What would you need from me on this post to see what is going on?
I have an application that reads a PHP script and populates the Flash applets using the following on frame 1:

A combobox (created with the returned data) is created on frame 61. When a selection is chosen in the combobox I need to add the value returned from the combobox to the variable catvar, add this variable to the LoadVars object and run the script again. It seems to set c.catvar initially but when I use the 'sendAndLoad command the second time c.catvar isn't included. Is it possible to add variables to a LoadVars object created on frame 1 from frame 61?
When creating a new presentation with Flash CS5 on Windows 7, I am able to add audio to the library, but get a virtual memory error when I try to then add the audio to the stage. The error says: "There is not enough memory to complete the operation. To increase available memory, close open documents or quit and increase virtual memory to allow more memory for Flash."This happens even when I am running no other programs. I have 145 GB of free space, 4.00 GB of RAM. Initial size of virtual memory is 6141, and maximum is 7000. I have an AMD Anthlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor, and a 64-bit OS. Other applications run fine, and I was always able to perform this step (drag audio to stage from library) with CS4 on XP. I got a new computer at the same time as CS5 and since then have been unable to use Flash.
I'm aiming to integrate KML geodata. Why won't this work? I just want to create one Node for each <placemark> tag in the xml.

I got a music portfolio web site running PHP, MySQL and Flash. There's a page showing all the artists my client worked for and when you click on a song title, this title is passed as a variable to a PHP page then to a Flash page. The Flash page contains an actionscript music player which then looks for the right audio file in the database and plays the song. Everything works great except for the dynamic text field which displays the song title. If the song title contains an apostrophe or a single quote, the Flash dynamic text field then shows the apostrophe.[code]

I will be creating a program to use for data entry. I'll be studying zebras in kenya and I won't have the internet there as I'm recording the data. I'd like to be able to send the data I generate in flash to an external text file. I understand I need some sort of script to do that, but is this something I can run just on my machine? (I'll probably make the data into xml format).
I have a website that is all flash. I have a main file that loads in the nav and then the nav loads in the designated .swf file for each section. So there are several sections(.swf's) with lots of text taken from a database and inserted into the swf file from an XML file. If I click in between sections, and go back to the original section of text the formatting is lost. This is only in Internet Explorer 7- this does not happen in Firefox or on the Mac.
I have three dynamic text boxes. variables respectively (caption0,caption1,caption2). I am trying to create a rollover where when you rollover caption0; caption1 and caption2 are displayed in sequence. Everything works except though only the first caption is ever displayed. For the other two I get "level0.caption1" and "level0.caption2" instead of the text in the xml file above. How do I parse the data so that each of the variables are assigned the text in the xml file?

Ok, so I've read up on the TextArea class in Livedocs, and i've been looking at XML explanations and their implementation into Flash for about a week. I've tried this EXACT code on another Flash document, except on the main stage instead of embedded inside of a separate movie clip, and it worked perfectly. Can anyone explain why the text won't display in the TextArea? Does it have something to do with it being inside of a movieclip and that being placed on the Main Stage? (By the way, proxy.xml is just a copy of the xml produced by my CFM proxy for easier usage, in case you were wondering.
if it's possible to make text wrap in the combobox component, and if so, how? I've searched this and other forums/sites but have had no luck with an answer either way. I'd like to combobox to stay a set width and therefore wrap text lines that are longer than the width. Currently it's just cutting off the text.
I have a scroll pane that is linked to a movie clip with a dynamic text field. The scroll pane expands automatically based on the length of the dynamic text field. I would also like to have the dynamic text field expand automatically to fit the dynamic content from an external .txt file if there is too much text to fit in the default text field length.

I am using an xml file to display text in a flash file. It works fine when it?s horizontal but I need to display the text vertical, the screens that will be playing the flash will be rotated 90 degrees so that they are in portrait view. When I do this the text does not display at all.
I would like to import text from a XML file into a dynamic text field. The XML file contains database records. I have found that Flash does not support the DOM command 'getElementsByTagName()' which I was endeavouring to use to find the record in the XML file that I wanted to associate with a particular dynamic text field.
Is there any other way to search through the XML file for the particular record I am looking for?

I've got several archived text files - 040107.txt,040207.txt, 040307.txt, for example - and I want to be able to build a dynamic link which loads whichever file is selected intothe Flash movie. This list needs to be able to build itself as Iwrite new files every day and add the old ones to the archive.

i have a text area, set to multiline. For some reason, when my text imported from xml shows up in the box, it starts several lines down into the box. So for example, my Text box is positioned with the top at the midpoint of my stage, but the text starts about 3/4 down the page, about half way down the text box. Can someone please tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?
I noticed that when I put my cursor in the box and move it up and down, the rest of the text 'scrolls' into the frame, but otherwise it's cut off.
