The business card templates will have been pre approved and uploaded into the "system". The employee will be able to choose the card template that he likes the most and edit information on the card template such as Full Name, Title, Office Number, Cell Number, Fax Number, and Email. After he inputs his own information onto this template he will have the option to save the file as a pdf file, that will be used to print his business cards.

Sep 24, 2009The problem is related to my project MovieMaker .Users can upload the photos and based on the photos uploaded the xml is generated and the user can apply transition effects and can add songs also to make a movie.Finally when the Movie is generated then the problem occurs.The problem is that the movie created still needs the Xml file for fetching the images and songs.But To any user who has applied the transition effects and uploaded songs and images,I want to give him only swf file nothing else.no xml,no images,no songs.Means The song,images,etc which are coming from xml should be contained in the library of the generated swf.How can I do that ??

Actionscript 3 :: Load Profile Image From Facebook
Oct 19, 2010I'm trying to load profile images (friend images) from Facebook with AS3 but I seem to be running into a security issue.I'm currently using the "official" Adobe Facebook API for Actionscript 3 which works fine. However, I seem to be having trouble loading profile images when running my application in a browser. The images load fine when running in the Flash IDE.The images are being loaded from URL... and there seems to be a crossdomain.xml policy on that domain:[code]
I just noticed that when I visit one of the images in a browser that I'm actually redirected to Facebook's CDN where the actual image is stored. When I hard-code the image url with the redirected URL I can load the image in the browser. It seems that this is not a security issue after all but a redirection issue.If this is a redirection issue then the question would become; How can I have Flash Player load an image from a redirected URL?It seems that the URLRequest class has a followRedirects property which is only available in AIR.I'm currently using a PHP script to get me the redirected URL as a work around but this of course is far from ideal and potentially a big strain on my server.

Nov 13, 2011This is very strange.i would like to show in my swf movie all the icons (jpg/png) I've imported as they are. I've set the JPG quality 100%, I've tried the PNG settings without quality lost, I've unchecked the "Allow smooth" setting.
But as soon as the movie have quality=high all the icons are smoothed/breaked and do not looks like the original ones [URL]..Instead, setting quality=low let show the icons as they are![URL]..Of course, I need the movie to be quality=high, since there will be some other stuff on it!

Oct 25, 2011I'm trying to display the profile images from both facebook and twitter. For facebook, the URLs I'm receiving are something like this (not actual urls):[URL]... Which is then redirected to the 'actual' url like this:[URL].. I'm also doing this with twitter, with the same issue (redirected url).
So, when I load the image, it loads fine. But when I close the container that the image is in, then I get the security sandbox violation. I can get this all to work if I add the URL from the 'actual' image url like this:

I have ideas and images of how it will look and work but have no one, who knows flash, who can help me make it work. Again, I have never used flash (am intending to start learning this summer) but my project is due in about 3 weeks and I am wondering if I can get help from this forum?
Also, how much do you think it would cost to get someone to take my design and make it work. I am willing to pay for it (and our teacher has agreed that it is fine to get this kind of help).

Nov 4, 2009I have been looking over the internet for a while about this, but it doesn't seem like there is any information available specifically related to captcah and flash.
My purpose is to create an image up-loader on flash, and implement "recaptcha" on it, so the upload is controlled.
I know that some people will say, "well you can't automatize flash input so you don't need captcha in this situation" even though this is somewhat true, there is still screen macro programs that could potentially make the computer upload hundreds of pictures if there is not something in place to avoid it.
I thought of implementing my own captcha but that seems to me like i would be reinventing the wheel, can anyone point me on the right track for this? or suggest another approach to avoid abuse on my image up-loader flash?
