Sep 24, 2009The problem is related to my project MovieMaker .Users can upload the photos and based on the photos uploaded the xml is generated and the user can apply transition effects and can add songs also to make a movie.Finally when the Movie is generated then the problem occurs.The problem is that the movie created still needs the Xml file for fetching the images and songs.But To any user who has applied the transition effects and uploaded songs and images,I want to give him only swf file nothing else.no xml,no images,no songs.Means The song,images,etc which are coming from xml should be contained in the library of the generated swf.How can I do that ??

Feb 3, 2012I'm currently working with the OLAPDataGrid component and got stuck at a relatively simple task: I want to style the last row of the grid differently from the rest, so my cell item renderer needs to know whether he's rendering the last row with content in the overall grid, including those rows currently not rendered because they are outside the visible grid space. AdvancedGridListData's rowIndex property only gets me the row index of the renderer relative to the range of visible grid rows, i.e. when I scroll down the grid, a data item with an index greater than 0 gets the rpw index = 0.

Mar 19, 2007I really like the thumbnail gallery for its simplicity and beauty. But I would like to ad or vertical scroller (I'm unable to find it here too, maybe I'm blind, just I'm more at the end of my seeking options) or a make a grid thumbnails, that will show 2 columns of thumbs and 5 pictures in each columns, then under the 2 columns i would like to ad a sort of arrow or button that if my gallery have more then 10 pictures it will go on the next thumbnail list. I'm not looking for any extra fading effects or special movements. Just would love to have a single thumbnail grid on side, with option to have lists of thumbnails by 10 if there is more then 10 pictures or so.

I have built a grid using an array and for loops and attach movieclips dynamically to that grid. What I want the moviclips to do is to look in the four spaces either side of itself i.e. up, down,left and right.I have managed to pull the grid coordinates out of the grid which enables me to tell the clip which grid space to look at but have been unable to successfully get the code to work.Here is my code:

Jan 16, 2012I'm trying to code the snap to grid functionality. The dragged object should snap to the grid if the distance between the object bounds and a grid line is less than 5px. I found a way to do it if the object's rotation is 0 but it doesn't work if I rotate the object. I need a different approach. Can you point me into the right direction with the algorythm or any source code?

Jan 4, 2009I have a main movie here that loads in an external swf through a container mc. everything is aligned and positioned to where it should be, and they are also set to that value onresize. the problem is, when my swf is loaded in, it works fine and is in the right position, same when you resize it. BUT, if you resize the window before the swf is loaded, it misaligns, until you resize!!

Sep 9, 2009I've got a large bitmap (1920 x1306) that my client wants as a bg image, scaled to the swf size on load (930 x 575); but that can "grow" up to its original size if/when a user expands the browser window. All the rest of clips in the display list are to remain in place (except for a copyright clip, which they want to always be 14 pix above the bottom of the browser frame. I've tried loading the bitmap dynamically at full size and then using scaleX,scaleY to set it's initial smaller (930x575) size, and I've tried just setting the height/width of the dynamically loaded image using the math of scaleX,ScaleY just in case the scaleX "transformed" the bitmap so that it couldn't return to its original size. Both make the bitmap the right size. But the resize function below did nothing to it, (or the copyright.y.) THEN I tried just putting the bitmap into the display list (both sizing methods work here, too). But even as an original member of the compiled display list, the resize event is still not reaching the target. Everything I've seen on the web says this should work - but...no luck.

The business card templates will have been pre approved and uploaded into the "system". The employee will be able to choose the card template that he likes the most and edit information on the card template such as Full Name, Title, Office Number, Cell Number, Fax Number, and Email. After he inputs his own information onto this template he will have the option to save the file as a pdf file, that will be used to print his business cards.
