Flex :: Import AbstractMatcherTestCase Could Not Be Found
Nov 2, 2011
I am trying to use Flex Unit in FlashBuilder 4.5.1 and I am getting the warning " import AbstractMatcherTestCase could not be found". I have hamcrest-as3-flex-1.1.3.swc as one of my referenced libraries for the project. I am trying to import as follows:
import org.hamcrest.AbstractMatcherTestCase;
I just upgraded from Flash Builder 4 to 4.5 and have imported one of my FB 4 projects.I am now seeing an orange question mark in the gutter next to all of my import statements that are importing local classes (as well as everywhere the said class methods are used) and an orange underline appears under the import statement.When I hover over the underline it says that the import could not be found.
The project compiles and runs without a problem (I use ANT to build this project).If I open one of the class files in question then change something (i.e press space bar) and hit save (EDIT: actually found I don't have to even save, just opening causes FB to find it) then go back to the file importing it the orange question mark is gone for that import, I get the code assist and CTL+Click links me to the class file. However, if I close that file and reopen it again cannot find the class file.The classes in question are stored under my project's src dir as:
- src +---com +---myappname[code]........
Is this a FB 4.5 "enhancement"? I've tried deleting and re-importing the project, refreshing the project and am now kind of at a loss of what to do. It's annoying enough that I may need to downgrade to 4.
Is mx.core.* something in the flex sdk / framework? I am trying to get the unserializer from [URL] to work with flash CS4, and I am getting the compiler error: 1004: Namespace was not found or is not a compile-time constant. The lines called out in the package are: use namespace mx_internal and mx_internal static var c:uint;
I don't know the first thing about namespaces, but does anyone know how to get this package/class working in CS4 AS3? It might be something simple I am missing. I have attached the .as package file (uploaded as a txt file) if anyone wants a look... I am having to get a lot of lists from a mySQL database and it is becoming a real pain urlencoding them all manually. If I could just urlencode(serialize($result)); in php and send that file to AS3 to be decode it would be so much simpler.
I`m using flash cs3 for my works , but i have one problem!when i use File=> Import=> Import to Library... or Import to Stage...the flash environment becomes terminated.I changed my flash version to CS4 and I have this problem again.
I'm using flexmojos 3.8 with flex compiler 4.1.0.16248.My Project compiles fine in Flash Builder, but with flexmojos / maven I get the following Error: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: UncaughtErrorEvent
Our flex project, which works fine in its current environment with coldfusion 7 single server. We moved this project to Coldfusion 8 multi server, and updated the remoteobject paths relative to the web root.
The error we now receive is faultCode:Server.Processing faultString:'Unable to invoke CFC - Could not find the ColdFusion Component or Interface myProject.cf.main.' faultDetail:'For details, turn on Robust Exception Information in the ColdFusion Administrator' The path to the cfc's from the webroot is is myProject/cf/main.cfc ...
today I wanted to change the border color of TextInput when user has a focus on it. I could not find any style that would allow me to change thatlittle bit of Google searching and I found answer to be themeColor.Why is it that there are some styles that work and which are not even mentioned in the Flex documentation? (and how can one find out about em, except doing some web searching?)
Definition spark.components.gridClasses:CellRegion could not be found.
this class is contained in com/adobe/flex/framework/spark/4.5.0.17855/spark-4.5.0.17855.swc which is included in the library-path by the flex-mojo compiler but I still get the error.
I am encountering this problem when trying to upgrade a legacy project from Flex SDK 3.3 to Flex SDK 3.6The error gets thrown at runtime only, at compile time there is no issue.My hunch is that it has something to do with DataVisualization components.Though all datavisualization swc's are in place, I am still getting this error.Even did a fresh download of the 3.6 SDK, overlayed the 3.6 DataVisualization swc's, still the same thing.Using Flash Builder 4.6 Premium
I get this error when I try to run the program...this is my first time to import other projects.. I dont have this problem with my own program this just appeared from the project I imported...
am having an issue with a project I am working on in Flash Builder.Following is my stack and code example. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property page4 not found on WOAPPv2 and there is no default value.

I am trying to compile some example actionscript code. In Flex (Flash Builder 4.6) I imported a project folder (happens to be the PurePDF examples). In a few places, I have yellow "?" icons when looking at the source files - though there are no warnings or errors showing up for them yet (I do have other errors I am addressing). This is an example - when I hover the "?" icon, I see access of undefined property getTime:
[Code]....
I cleaned up the errors I mentioned, and these yellow "?" marks still appear when viewing the code. There are no warnings or errors in the 'problems' window, but these question marks I describe are still there. Even if I close the file and clean the project and re-open the file.
I am using FlashDevelop to develop flex applications and wanted to paint a LineChart in a panel. I used an example of Adobe itself to be found here. When I compiled it FlashDevelop showed the following output file type was not found or was not a compile-time constantFor Both LineChart and AreaChart.Can someone tell me why this happens? I also tried it in the code by importing mx.charts.LineChart, my code completion found the classes but when compiling the same error occurs.
I am creating an app with Flex 4 using Flash Builder. When I try to use mx:XML component, I get the error Could not resolve <mx:XML> to a component implementation. Can any one tell me which package to import to resolve this error.
In the Below action script file there is an error saying cannot import mx.controls.Label, I am compiling this through command line on,linux and the environment variable path is set where flex is installed ,how to resolve this
package { import mx.controls.Label; public class Test
We're using a custom class that uses XmlSchemaProviderAttribute in order to make it seem like a string. It is declared as follows:
[XmlSchemaProvider("GetSchema")] public sealed class CDataWrapper : IXmlSerializable {[code]......
The CDataWrapper class is taken from this question. We're using it since one of our clients (a FLEX client) cannot read leading railing spaces correctly. And we're making it seem like a string in the schema, in order not to break the contract with our other clients. This works nicely, usually, but one of our clients is unable to generate a proxy with the schema that WCF creates for the service that uses the above wrapper class. We've traced the reason to this line in our wsdl:
The problem is that there is no namespace attribute on the xsd:import element above, and our client's proxy generator can't handle that well.In short, how can we add the namespace attribute to the generated wsdl?
I need too create quiz app using xml for database for questions and xul or flax for interface, quiz should have 3 types of questions : single answer (radio), multianswer (checkbox) and open (textfield). I really don't know how to import questions from xml, to xul/flex Also i need to save the answers to txt/xml file The xml database is something like this
Whenever you view a flex app and go to view source you can download a zip of the flex app. Once you do that how do you import it? I went to flex>import and I get to options import archive file I pointed that to the zip and it says its not a valid archive file. so I tried the other option import flex project folder, I extracted the zip and pointed it to that and it says its not a valid project folder.
I did have the capability to compile my mxml files via the browser on my local machine. I've had to do a reinstall but now I'm having problems trying to compile.My current setup is:
I've tried compiling in Firefox 3.5, IE8 & Chrome but all receive the same error:
Compilation results
Errors, warnings or exceptions were found while compiling null.Visit the online Flex documentation or API reference for further information. An error occured on the server.
Server error is: 'Error occurred in server thread; nested exception is: java.lang. NoSuchMethodError: flex.license.License.(Ljava/util/ Map;Ljava/lang/ String; Lflex/ license/Logger;)V'
I've followed the instructions from adobe:
http:[url]....I can compile without an issue via CMD but I prefer to use the browser as I find that much faster.
I am using a custom itemEditor for my DataGrid.The itemEditor has a simple TextField as a component.But when ever i am clicking the cell i am getting an error as [code]My Opinion is that the error is coming for the "text" field. But i havn't accessed "text" field or used it anywhere in my code.
First I create a new ActionScript Project, then add a Library Project's bin folder to the build path, and reference the Library Project. I code the new project, and everything works fine. But later, when I'm optimizing the code, I'll create a new ActionScript class file in the Library Project, save it, and then change an already defined function within the ActionScript Project to use this new ActionScript class in the Library Project instead of some other class in the Library Project. The class file is in the Library Project's src folder, under (default package), same as all the other files the ActionScript Project is using successfully.At this point, FlashBuilder shows an error "Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: PEArrays."
Here is the Library Project file:
package { public class PEArrays {
[code]...
I have included import PEArrays; or, import PEArrays.*; and both result in the same error.Also, I tried exiting and re-entering FlashBuilder, didn't help. Cleaning the ActionScript Project had no effect on this error. I also right-clicked on the project folder and selected Refresh, but it didn't help.
I verified that the needed classes are correctly selected by going to Project>Properties>Flex Library Build Path and reviewing the Classes tab. I'm just a single developer so there's no version control system in place.
After troubleshooting a bit, I now find that the ActionScript Project folder's bin directory is empty. When I run the .as file in the ActionScript Project's src folder, I get an error that the ASname.html file cannot be found (where ASname is the ActionScript Project name and also the .as file name, e.g. ASname.as, in the src folder, which is run). This ASname.html file is not found in the html-template folder. What process generates this needed .html file?
to incorporate seperated parts of PHP code and / or HTML markup. Now when it comes to Flex 4, I'm not quite sure how I'd go about doing that same thing, only this time, for ActionScript files. I want to do this kind of approach since my source code gets really annoyingly huge as the Flex app I'm developing grows.
I'm trying to setup the Facebook sdk for Flex for the first time. I simply copied the Graph API 1.6 web into my lib folder. And when I try and import it, it even shows up as you type, as you can see in img1. But after I save my project I get an error saying it cannot be found. Does anyone know how I should properly setup the facebook flex sdk?
