Flex :: App To Load A Pdf Form In Flash, Fill It And Download As Pdf

I'd like to write a simple flex app that works like the [URL] service. (you can try it without registering at [URL]
Here the steps I need to implement
1) User upload a pdf form
2) The form is converted in a a flash form
3) User fill the form (using a flash app)
4) User download the filled form as pdf document
Does anybody have some advices to start ? For step 2 I have found many pdf to flash converter but I need to leave the form editable.

I'm trying to create a very simple flash:An input text field, in which the viewer is to enter a simple word (in this case, let's say the word is "earth.") Beneath this text field is a button.When the button is clicked, flash should detect whether the user entered the word "earth"- if they entered "earth", they get sent to frame 2 of this movie. If they typed something else, then they get sent to frame 3.Now, this should be pretty simple, but every attempt I've made has failed, and every search for a simple tutorial/example of how to compose the script meets with no results. I am creating in Flash CS4 (AS3) a static fill out form for a website that I am involved in. The questionnaire helps to determine whether a person is suseptible to drug and alcohol abuse with either a postive answer (not likely to develop substance abuse) or a negative answer (likely to develop substance abuse)There are six questions on this form that MUST be answered either yes or no.I have created the form with all art and buttons and it is ready to implement in Dreamweaver but need the scripting to make work.The six YES buttons are assigned instance names of cb1, cb3, cb5, cb7, cb9 and cb11.The six NO buttons are assigned instance names of cb2, cb4, cb6, cb8, cb10 and cb12.When the participant answers all six questions either yes or no they will hit a Submit button (with an instance name of submit) that will direct them to a new web/flash page with appropriate answer.
If the participant answers TWO or more questions with YES and hit submit they will be directed to a new page/doc in the website with the negative answer.If the participant answers ONE YES and hit submit they will be directed to a new page/doc in the website with a positive answer.If the participant answers ALL NO and hit submit they will be directed to a new page/doc in the website with the same positive answer as answering with ONE YES response.I assume this is a very complex coding problem. I am a beginner/intermidiate flash person with extreme novice understanding of coding. I know what stop(); does in AS3 and understand simple clickTag coding etc.

I am new to flash, trying to do some animation character. I have 2 queries
1. What is lock fill; whenever I am trying to fill a color, it shows lock fill....
2. If I am creating a non regular figure like say with pencil, if I draw some part of it & do other part by later; these will be assumed different objects & I am not able to fill the whole figure with a selected color.

From what i googled It was said to follow the below procedure Import video -> select already deployed on a web server -> add video url it creates a FLVPlayback component Is this the right way? I have done video loading using NetStream a lot of time considering this method as streaming, though i am not sure if what this type of loading is called..

I have noticed two differences between spark and mx forms which are causing me some problems. It seems by default the mx forms are arranged to the label is above the form input item. In Spark they are arranged next to each other. Also the label in spark forms are bold by default.For example MX code could be

I generate a HTML page with VB.Net which stores several pinks to files. These links are formatted with JavaScript looking like the Windows-Explorer with folders and files. The problem: There are only download links for the files, not for Folders. A folder can contain Subfolders ,a List of Files or a combination of both. So if I want to download a folder, I have to click manually on every file-link. I have not the possibility to insert PHP or another Server-side language. my question now is: Is there a client side way to Download them by click on a Folder? I prefer Javascript but If it isn't possible Flash will be ok also.

I have a main FLA and when a button is cliked few swfs loads in to it. I need to get a fill colour applied to a object depending on whcih button is cliked.E.g. my_btn - click - loads my.swf & applies #333333 to "my_mc"I'd like to involve a MySQL db here since I'm loading some data with the same buttons' onPress command.

Possible Duplicate: losing extension when use FileReference download I'm having an issue that looks common when using the FileReference class in FP10 when saving a file. The whole thing works fine as long as I don't change the default filename. If I do, then I loose the extension of the file... which is annoying >_< I haven't found any "acceptable" workaround, but the posts I've seen are from a couple of months already. So I'm inquiring hoping that something's been done regarding this issue since then =)

This is for mx 2004. How to load variables from an external txt file at the beginning of flash movie...At various keyframes in the scene the movie shows different forms for user to fill in into the TextInput components. As soon as these forms are shown, the TextInput components are pre-filled with default text (the variable values that were loaded, for example "Enter your title here"). I know how to do this in earlier versions easily with the Var variable but now I'm stuck. I've been trying to do something but I keep getting "undefined" in the TextInput.

I want to download files from the server side to client side without prompting a window to the user to download when any updates happen at server side.Right now I am using urlstream class but first file is downloading completely rest of the files contents downloading partially.

if you can do with the files that were loaded through the Loader class (or another class) remain permanently on the computer of who uploaded the application. That is, even if the person closes the browser or shut down the computer, the files remain on your computer. So when the person is running the same application will not need to wait until the files have been loaded (via download).
The person will enter in the browser page where the application is already included and you can use this application, without waiting any time since the necessary files are not on the computer. If any new files later arose in the application, this would be the only file to be loaded (downloadable) for the computer, which already found the other files that have already been loaded at another time. I can do this in actionscript 3.0? Note: Do not bother with my English because I'm using the google translator.

I am wondering whether to use a jpg to preview content of each video or load the video's directly with only loading the first 5 frames running a loop then killing the download on the rest of the movie till requested to start again by the user. Is this possible?

I have a super involved and somewhat silly site I've been working on for a long time piecing together fragments of AS2 code and modifying them to the best of my limited ability.The site is here:http:[url]....I am finally adding the last steps, a series of contact forms with a PHP script in the back end. Anyway, I implemented a form script and have it triggered by clicking the "CONTACT" button you can see on the lower bar. So, click contact and once the form opens (an external SWF loaded into an MC), type away and everything works fine unless you use the letter "f" in either upper or lowercase. It causes the screen to flash and for the form input to lose focus.It works (in that you can enter everything normally -- the form doesn't function, but that's just the PHP which I have yet to edit.)

I have set the Progressive-Download video instead of Streaming-Video (because my webserver provider "aruba.it" doesn't offer streaming videos), in Flash CS4 Professional, and exported to Dreamweaver CS4. I have also inserted the HTML code in Dreamweaver CS4 to enable FullScreen Playback of Flash .flv Videos.Now I have a problem:
- When the webpage loads into Internet Explorer 7, it take much time to load all the videos at same time!
Thus I want this:
- I want that the videos start to load just when I press the Play button, individually, not at same time.- I don't not want that start the load immediately when the webpage opens in IE7. - I want that the videos start to load content in the same manner of YouTube videos, just when I press play.
How can I do? What is the HTML code that I should insert into DreamweaverCS4? I have seen this help page: [URL]
At Chapter "Public Methods" I have seen this "load" function:"Begins loading the FLV file and provides a shortcut for setting the autoPlay property to false and setting the source, totalTime, and isLive properties, if given..."

I have a scratch card. Basically I'm masking a movie clip with an empty shape. I can draw on that mask and thus my movieclip will become visible. I have also attached the fla.
Now what I would like to achieve is that when you fill a percentage of that mask, let's say 70%, I automatically fill the whole layer so that all of my movieclip becomes visible (as mask is fully filled).
