IDE :: Scratchy Sound After Publishing Website

I use CS4 Flash 10.0.2 and after publishing a website (tried few templates), it comes out with bothering scratching/metallic sound. Basically all sounds, effects are distorted with a metallic sounds. If I do it few times, or shut down Flash and start it again and then publish it, the sound it is OK. What am I doing wrong or is it a setting that I should do to avoid this nuisance? It does not matter if I publish it with Flash v6 or v8 and moreover, it happens to different flash websites while using Flash CS4 for Windows and also for MAC. It must be something that I have to set but have no idea.

I cannot publish anymore my Web site. When I do "test animation" I got no error and my site is Cool! But When I try to publish is, it stop at the middle of the bar and say that the police should be incorporated with "Texte -> Incorporate the Police". I did it many times, saving the doc and tring to republish my doc with no result. Everytime I try to publish I got the same mistake! I cannot compile my server anymore and make any progress.

how to create some flash AS3 applications. Well, one important component of that was learning how to actually publish them so they're available on the web. And that's what is getting me now. My project page here
In this project, a tile list of a dozen motorcycle thumb images should show up on the right side of the stage, and when clicked, a large image and descriptive text should tween into center stage. The .fla project works perfectly when compiled to a swf from within Flash locally. When published live on a website, it's partly inop.
All of the images and information are in an xml file. All images are actually on the server, and in a few places simultaneously... The root, the 'images/' folder where the xml actually calls for them to be. No images show up. Also, five album cover art thumbnails should populate another small tile list at the bottom. Now, the music plays when you click a phantom tile list item, so that proves the xml is kosher. but none of the motorcycle images show up at all, not even the tile list 'chrome'... yet the chrome for the album art does show up.

I recently switched to using a MacBookPro (snowleopard) when developing, after several years of PC use. Now, quite often when publishing my swf:s, embedded sounds get all distorted and filled with loud crackling sounds when running the swf (yes, even on different computers). I tried different compressions, bitrates and qualities with the same result. Something is clearly wrong with how my machine compresses sound.

I found this flash tutorial about old scratchy movie: [URL]. Tells me to create a movie clip "line" and "actions" and create a line as big as the movie: 400. Then tells me to put this on the action panel of "actions".

After building a flash using one of the players provided by KoolMoves in the interface, I checked to make sure the sound played properly and it did. I checked to be sure it was still in the contents file and it was. I uploaded it to my website and all plays great but I have no sound. I've checked to make sure my sound is not muted and speakers connected and all other sound plays fine. The progress bar for the player does not show when it is clicked eiither, as if there is no sound file in the player.

I would like to add background music to my flash website, but i have tried many ways of doing so. currently what i have is one movie clip which consists of two frames - one has the play icon and the other with a pause icon and the sound file. however, after some time and also a few button clicks, the sound repeats and results in the sound playing over the previous sound.

I have a website at [URL] The problem i'm facing is that after the preloader is done the homepage comes but the other menus still takes much time to load and the sound also take atleast 5 min ! :(
How can i make them all bind together so that after the preloader everything comes together at an instant completely !

I'm trying to create a background sound in flash website. I created play/pause buttons and it works fine, but when the sound is over it stops. What I want is the sound to loop, not to stop. I tried different things but I can;t get it working as I wish. Here's my code:

Anytime this .swf is ran from my computer during test runs it works flawlessly. As soon as It is embedded in an HTML page the sound doesn't play.

i am having some problems linking my mp3 player swf file to my website. It looks like it loads fine, and the buttons work and change the track of the song, but there is no sound heard or played. Here is the code i used to do this:

As i said before, the player loads up and shows up on the website with no errorsand the buttons work (going to next or previous song as well as the pause and play buttons pausing and playing the music properly), but no sound can be heard. (this is being test on the latest version of firefox).

I am triggering short sounds dynamically from the library for a game (Specifically Air for Android). When the user clicks a button the sound can take up to 600ms to actually play. I have set it for any silence before the actual sound by calling the sound like so:

All return the same results. I know there are threads here that talk about this but none have offered a real solution that I can find. Is there no way to cache the sound or store it in a buffer?

Just upgraded literally 2 days ago. Exporting a 525*275 size .swf, I reduced quality to Medium and JPEG quality to 50, and tried exporting in both Flash Players 9 and 10 with no luck. I can't find strict mode which I was told would help. One root keyframe, 13 buttons, 2 MCS and just 150+ lines of AS code. Some of the MCs have .jpg files loaded in for temp art (I code, I sadly can't draw). Ran Disk Cleanup and Defragmenter and restarted the computer with no luck.

I created a photo album using XML and actionscript 2. When I test it out on my computer it works great. Just how I thought it would. But when I publish it and put on the server it decides to get a mind of its own. When the page loads the images will go in a random order but the title attributes I created stay just as it should.So basically image 3 will come up first and title 1 will be with it. I changed the the title to print the url that is being called and it will say the correct thing but show the wrong image.

Is there a way to publish or export a an SWF file to a different size? I created this swf a while ago and now I need to send it with a short portfolio but the swf is 22MB. Plus I have a few other swf's to send with it. Is there a way of exporting it to a different size to cut down on the size of the file?

During the bet (for the small few that had one), apparently it was mentioned that flash will publish it's html files using swfobject, but I publish, i don't see swfobject. Does anyone have any info on this or is it a rumor?

I have a task quite interesting. (dynamic swf generation [banner creation])
a. I have a stage with tools such as importing images (resize, rotate etc..)
b. I have a text tool to create a textfield (change font, size, rotate etc..)
c. similarly i can draw shapes to.
these are all done in a movieclip that has already a defined shape (consider a banner size).Is there any way for creating a swf file dynamically from a movieclip which is on stage.

I've created a logo for a company, and I made an intro animation sequence, but with all the fades and different things going on, the two second animation turns into about five seconds.it's ridiculous. so i guess i'm asking if there's a way to publish to video format that will actually work, or for some recommendations on third party software that could publish to quicktime or avi successfully. all the ones i've tried don't play movieclips

I have a 1mb fla which publishes a 240kb swf when I save the fla and either test movie or publish it takes about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes to publish. I publish other fla's with swf's of up to 650kb in 3 seconds.

I have created a Flash object which uses an xml to read the image path and few other attributes. I could successfully generate the swf and publish (html) the object.
When I view menu.html, independently in a browser it works fine. However, when I embed this, generated html (menu.html), in the home page of another website(homepage.html), it breaks. The images are not displayed.

CS3 on a 2.4 ghz intel core 2 duo Mac running OS X 10.5.8.I have been able to create my webpages and upload them to the host. They are viewable, linkable etc. Everything is working, but now I want to include some flash elements.I built a flash file in action script 3.0 and saved it in the files folder of Dreamweaver, I dragged and dropped the swf file into the design screen and saved it. I have uploaded the html file, the swf and fla files and the created js file to the host server, but the flash element does not appear on the page when I view it in the browser.
