I have a website at [URL] The problem i'm facing is that after the preloader is done the homepage comes but the other menus still takes much time to load and the sound also take atleast 5 min ! :(
How can i make them all bind together so that after the preloader everything comes together at an instant completely !
I would like to add background music to my flash website, but i have tried many ways of doing so. currently what i have is one movie clip which consists of two frames - one has the play icon and the other with a pause icon and the sound file. however, after some time and also a few button clicks, the sound repeats and results in the sound playing over the previous sound.

I made a 'movie' in Premiere and exported as FLV., Its suppose to be a banner on the top of a web page. The site was made with Dreamweaver. When played locally, the banner does great. When I put it on the server, thats a different story. I can tell thats something is there because it loads the background color of the flash file but it doesn't play the FLV.
View 1 RepliesAfter building a flash using one of the players provided by KoolMoves in the interface, I checked to make sure the sound played properly and it did. I checked to be sure it was still in the contents file and it was. I uploaded it to my website and all plays great but I have no sound. I've checked to make sure my sound is not muted and speakers connected and all other sound plays fine. The progress bar for the player does not show when it is clicked eiither, as if there is no sound file in the player.

I have tried changing background colour to Black #000 in all fields but the white background is still there before Flash shows up on the page.
I am embedding the Flash in a html page using CSS to have it align center middle. I think that's where the problem is.

how to create a Flash website, that loads data from an external source(CMS), that can be indexed by Google? Indexed by Google looking at the SWF and not shadow HTML pages. Or exactly why such a site cannot be indexed by Google. I have found several articles; however, none get into technical details or are by Adobe.

View 2 RepliesI am trying to put a flash background on my website that will loop over and over.I created the file in after effects but understand that it is best to export to flash to keep file size down.I have tried exporting from after affects using F4L, FLV, and XFL and always seem to get a file size of 2-4 MB.My video is only 8 seconds long and I exported at half resolution so I am unsure why it is so largeWhen I import F4L and FLV to flash and then export as an SWF file, the file does not work on my website(nothing shows). and I have this swf file with cms that I'd like for this menu to load. Currently the swf file load external text using this code:

but when the xml menu loads this swf file its structure loads but not its data.I tried using :

View 6 RepliesI've seen a tutorial for changing the background inside of flash based on buttons to click. However, these colors were palettes and not of backgrounds such as jpeg. What I'd like to do is to create 3 buttons and place them on my flash website. These three buttons allow the user to click on them thus changing the background. So if you're visiting the about page and click one of these buttons, I don't want the user to go back to the home page after clicking.

It loads fine when the swf is loaded from sub.domain.com but it does not load from [URL]..It's all the same directory on the webserver. I tried using crossdomain.xml and allowed access from *.sub.domain.com. Doesn't work.
Any idea what would work? besides using php to determine the current domain (www or not) and load in the path via flashvars.
How do I get a sound to play throughout the entire flash site in the background? Go to [URL] and you will see what I mean. Its a great site by the way! View 2 RepliesI have an animated logo swf file that loads and runs once on the home page every time the page loads. The logo has been updated to appear in three different colour schemes. I want one scheme to load and when the page is refreshed or revisited, one of the other colour schemes to load in its place. They can appear in any random order, just a different one to the one that played before reloading.Can someone point me to an answer or tell me how to do it? I am trying to figure out how to run a php file when a flash file is opened on a site or ran. the php file has no output or anything to do with the flash, it just needs to be run to update the mysql database. I need the script to be run from my site even if the flash is on another site, but i do not want to show that it is being run. I want it to be a hidden thing. View 3 RepliesI am having some problems showing my videos in flash after moving it anywhere besides my computer.
I published my flash file once as a exe. file and sent it to another computer, where it all worked but my videos, which didn't show up at all.
I also published them as SWF files, then put them up on my free website (where i don't have access to the ftp) and the videos still aren't there.
The videos will play fine in an SWF file on my computer, but i am assuming when they are away from the videos, they don't have a source to access them.
I also tried sending the videos along with the SWF files when sending to other computers and it still doesn't work.
I now have a free hosted website (with wix.com if that makes any difference) with my flash work on, but no videos. I even tried to embed a youtube video into the scenes the videos are meant to appear, and put the videos on youtube, then i discovered you can't put that sort of HTML into flash.
how to show the videos on these sort of website, or even better, how to keep them in original file when sending them, so they show on other computers.
