Professional :: Cannot Incorporate Police When Publishing Website
Feb 25, 2012
I cannot publish anymore my Web site. When I do "test animation" I got no error and my site is Cool! But When I try to publish is, it stop at the middle of the bar and say that the police should be incorporated with "Texte -> Incorporate the Police". I did it many times, saving the doc and tring to republish my doc with no result. Everytime I try to publish I got the same mistake! I cannot compile my server anymore and make any progress.
What is correct way of creating a police car with flashing blue lights drive along in a scene? My plan was to create a new file, add car and png of just the lights to the library.layer 1 rename as car and dragdrop car graphic to stage, add keyframe at fr48 for 24fps scene, 2secs duration insert a layer call it lights and drag drop to stage, make duration 24frames, lights flash at 1 sec intervals when movie played.Should I select both layers and go modify>convert to symbol>movieclip then copy paste that from library to the library of the scene with the road ?(it doesnt flash !)How is this done ?
I also presume the fps of the movie clip if taken to another file should be the same as that file, one cannot have movie clips of different fps in one file, am I right ?
I use CS4 Flash 10.0.2 and after publishing a website (tried few templates), it comes out with bothering scratching/metallic sound. Basically all sounds, effects are distorted with a metallic sounds. If I do it few times, or shut down Flash and start it again and then publish it, the sound it is OK. What am I doing wrong or is it a setting that I should do to avoid this nuisance? It does not matter if I publish it with Flash v6 or v8 and moreover, it happens to different flash websites while using Flash CS4 for Windows and also for MAC. It must be something that I have to set but have no idea.
how to create some flash AS3 applications. Well, one important component of that was learning how to actually publish them so they're available on the web. And that's what is getting me now. My project page here
In this project, a tile list of a dozen motorcycle thumb images should show up on the right side of the stage, and when clicked, a large image and descriptive text should tween into center stage. The .fla project works perfectly when compiled to a swf from within Flash locally. When published live on a website, it's partly inop.
All of the images and information are in an xml file. All images are actually on the server, and in a few places simultaneously... The root, the 'images/' folder where the xml actually calls for them to be. No images show up. Also, five album cover art thumbnails should populate another small tile list at the bottom. Now, the music plays when you click a phantom tile list item, so that proves the xml is kosher. but none of the motorcycle images show up at all, not even the tile list 'chrome'... yet the chrome for the album art does show up.

I would like to have a map of the 50 U.S. states. I would like to click on a state and have a small pop-up window that displays the temperature of the capital of that state. After 5 seconds the pop-up closes. Behind the scenes I would also like the clicks being tracked by a database. I am digging around weather.com trying to figure out linking RSS feeds to Flash and I am thinking MySql to count the clicks. Does anyone have any tips or a quicker, easier way to set this up?
I am doing a project on an interactive website that contains flash animations. I have to incorporate a voice that explains what is happening in the animations. I am using my own voice for this. I have recorded my voice and saved it as .mp3 files. between each animation there are about 6-10 audio files. I am pretty sure I can import the sounds into the flash library and drag the sounds on the timeline and sync the sound with the animations that way but is it possible to control the sound using actionscript as I have to incorporate buttons that allows the user to play, pause and stop the animation and the audio. Or can I only use actionscript to achieve this.
My question is how do I incorporate playback controls to a Embedded Video that plays with the timeline? I saw how easy it was to add playback components when you import video externally. I figured that I probably need to start by creating my play back components, but then I need code to tell the swf what to do?
I've just created a quick video player using the FLVPlayBack Component. When I publish, the HTML file always has a bunch of JavaScript in the <header> tab. What is this JavaScript for? I've tried to move the JavaScript into a seperate file and link it in the HTML file, but the .swf will not load. I've also tried just deleting the JavaScript, but the .swf will not load. I have found the only way to get the .swf to play is to keep the javascript in the HTML file. The problem I am looking at is I am building a webpage that will have two seperate video players, thus requiring two seperate .swf files. What I am concerned about is I'll have to have a boat load of JavaScript in the one HTML page which makes it messy. I've tried searching the internet, but not able to find much help. Is there a way around having to keep the JavaScript in the HTML file?
I'm using Flash CS4 and have a couple of FLAs (but not all my FLAs) that always get flagged as being modified when I publish. The issue is that my source control keeps wanting to have me check-in those files.
I'm trying to create a flash video that will incorporate powerpoint-like slides along with video footage. So for instance I will have slide 1 (graphic) - slide 2 (video clip) - slide 3 (text). I have used CS4 before for one of my classes but that was a little while ago, and I feel like I'm starting over again. When I import the first graphic (.png), is there an option to have it resize to fit the stage?
I'm currently working on a project where I want to incorporate "find a location" functionality using the user's zip code. Basically, the user needs to be able to type in their zip code and once they hit the submit button, they are then taken to a page where it lists all locations available. Mind you, the website is ALL Flash. Currently, it's in ActionScript 2.0, but I could (at least with these pages) convert to ActionScript 3.0 if needed.
I am trying to publish a small animation but flash only seem to be rendering the bg color not showing any of my content , i have flash vector animation and a bg drawn in photoshop exported to web in jpeg format.
flash document is.. 1920 px by 1080 px, 1080p resolution for animation, standard stuff. When I go to export the stage as a PNG files, doesn't matter if I specify the resolution as 1920 by 1080 or click match movie, the exported png file is HUGE, the size to be exact is 8000 by 4500, why is this? I can't find a way to fix that.Secondly, it's not exporting the full stage, it seems to be cutting off most of the right side, see the image below.[URL]
When I publish the animation as an animated GIF, not only is the animation slower, but the colors lost their transparency, and the weight blows up 50 times. Here are the two:[URL]
I am using Flsh cs5. I have created a simple .fla file. But when i publish , .swf and .html file are not created in the folder. And when i test the movie(control->test movie), it doesnt open any window to show the flash.
I'm currently working on a LARGE flash presentation broken up into many small flash movies. the files play fine in the timeline, but SOMETIMES when publishing as .swf, the text is not visible, but all the other objects and tweens play as normal. My co-worker is also having this same issue, but we can not figure out why. It seems random and does not happen with all of the files. We are copying and pasting symbols from file to file. i don't think that is the issue, though. i wonder if anyone else is experiencing this or knows why. causing LOTS of extra time spent remaking presentations.
I've been developing a fairly simple presentation in CS4, AS3, OSX, which runs as a standalone projector.Everything was working for a while, but now for no apparent reason, any file I publish as a projector starts the Flash Player app, but the projector does not appear or play.Older versions that I had already published will play correctly, but if I re-publish them they do not work any more.
I maybe missing the point or simply not ticking a tick box, I've created a web banner for one of my publications that I work on (please find at the following address [URL].. As you can see I have some aircraft flying away from the tree at the bottom, what I would like to happen that they dissappear when they pass the keyline. I had thought that if I continued the animation onto the pasteboard that when it came to publishing, flash would ignore items this grey area and would act as a trim, am I correct in thinking this? How would I go about correct this so that only the animation within the set parameters appear?
Also is there a way of setting the scale of a flash banner? I have a feeling that this is so simple, but just can't find the panel to set it all.
DId things change in regards to publishing scenes? I know I can publish preview a scene with the option-command-return, and that still works, however it does NOT replace the swf file in the location chosen in the Publish Settings.
I have an old .fla I need to get swfs published from each scene... this used to be a piece of cake.
I recently updated my flash to cs5.5 and my iPad (1g) to the IOS 5 beta. Since then I haven't been able to publish my apps to any IOS device. The apps run in adl and as swf on my macbook pro, but on my iPad (IOS 5) and iPhone 3gs (IOS 5) they just start up and freeze at the stage. I use a loader to load a soundfile and image to the stage right at the start but they just don't show up.
The weirdest thing is that my colleague uses cs5.5 on windows and cs5 on a mac to publish to the same iPad and his apps do work! When I tried to publish on another mac in cs5 I just got the same problem as before.
I hope someone knows a solution for this problem because it is getting on my nerves.
I will be putting a website online, it has been built using dreamweaver with imported flash movies. Now when I put this on the server will the flash still be there? Or do I have to publish every single flash component in the file??
How can I use an older version of Flash player when publishing to Man/Win Projector? The Properties says 'Player: 7' but when I publish to Mac/Win (.app/.exe) the file says it uses Flash player 9 (9.0.115.0)! One of our clients are having issues with a project published this way - on autoplay they get a white screen instead of the program screen and after they update Flash on their computer, the application (Projector) works. What's the issue?
I have a flash project with about 3500 items - mostly containing movie clips with linkage. The SWF acts as an external library. I publish the SWF file under AS3 + FP9 (also tried FP10) and when I tried to access the items using
var _proAD:ApplicationDoman = loadEvent.target.applicationDomain; var profileClass:Class = _proAD.getDefinition(item) as Class;var sprite:Sprite = new profileClass();
but all returned null! (after looping through them) - I traced the item's name in the output and they all matched exactly correctly. After a while, I managed to narrow down the problem which leads me to think it's a newly introduced bug in Flash CS5.
Test1: Deleted 500 items from the project, and it worked - all items returned non-null when using the code above. Also tried deleting a different range of 500 items instead of the first 500 - which also worked. This test confirms that all items were not courrpted.
Conclusion: Flash CS5 is unable to successfully publish a project containing over 3500 items in the library. The resulting SWF file size was about 500KB - which indicates it contains something, but still was unable to access the items.
Test2: From CS5, saved the project as CS4 format and opened it with Flash CS4. Published it (via CS4), and it worked. All items returned non-null. Great. However, when I added 500 more items (total of 4000) - it failed both on CS4 and CS5.The publish only takes about 10 seconds. Not very long..
I have made an App in CS5. I have a release version made, ready to go. It is running on my iPhone with no problem. The error from iTune Connect is 'Application failed codesign versification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.' I am the developer, within a Company account on iOS Developer Account. what could be causing this error and how to fix it?
I have a project that I want to port to mobile platform on Android and iOS.The project uses a v.addEventListener(VideoEvent.COMPLETE, completePlay) handler to detect when video is finished playing and trigger the next action.
The project is running perfecty when publishing for Air or Flash Player 9 and above. However when just changing the target player for publishing to Air for Android or iOS the following error occours:Access of possibly undefined property COMPLETE through a reference with static type Class.
