View 4 RepliesI have made an App in CS5. I have a release version made, ready to go. It is running on my iPhone with no problem. The error from iTune Connect is 'Application failed codesign versification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.' I am the developer, within a Company account on iOS Developer Account. what could be causing this error and how to fix it?
View 2 RepliesI installed the Flash CS5 trial and each time I launch the application, a windows with the message (error initializing java runtime and may need to reinstall Flash). That's making 6 times that I reinstall Flash CS5, Java 6.21, unisntall, install from CS5 Suite, single Flash CS5 and always the same problem. I use Windows 7 X86.
View 7 RepliesSome people reported this error when using Flash Builder, but I am using Flash Pro CS5.5 on a PC with Windows XP. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Pro and Flash Builder but it did not resolve my problem. I was able to publish the same FLA files about a month ago and did a successful test of my app on an iPad. I made a small change to the size of a slider. This error occured when I tried to republish.I don't know what files are missing but I'm guessing it is something to do with installing AIR for iOS. After reinstalling, my Flash CS5.5 folder includes an AIR2.6 subfolder but not AIR2.7
View 6 RepliesWhen I apply a 3D tween I get the following error when I test the movie: Error initializing Java Runtime Environment. You may need to re-install Flash If I remove the tween, no error on testing. Is this a bug? I am using CS4 on a brand new Dell M6300 mobile workstation.
View 1 RepliesWhen I try to build a "Hello World" iOS app for the iPhone using Flash Pro CS5.5 I get the following error:
Error creating files. Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Could not create the Java virtual machine.
Has any one else encountered an error like this and successfully fixed it? I've been trying to solve this for a long time, have reinstalled Flash CS5.5 and Java, but so far I'm still getting the same error. I've also tested building the app on another person's machine and there everything works fine. My OS is Windows 7.
I get this error starting up Flash Professional CS5. I don't even have to create/open a Flash file. I already re-installed, but to no avail.

I'm currently on a Windows 7 64bits system and I've got this unsolved problem of "Error initializing Java Runtime Environment. You may need to reinstall Flash" pop-up at Flash CS5 launch. This error (apparently relied to AS3 compiling machine) also appears during SWF compilation (so the compilation is bugged and the SWF is unusable) I've googled it and tried every piece of answer but none of them worked :
- Re-install Flash or Java (32 & 64 bits)
- Delete CLASSPATH in environment variables
- Reduce (or raise ?!) -Xmx128M environment variable
- Launch application with XP SP3 compatibility
Is anyone here had the same problem and succeed to pass through in any kind of way
I am trying to publish a small animation but flash only seem to be rendering the bg color not showing any of my content , i have flash vector animation and a bg drawn in photoshop exported to web in jpeg format.
View 1 RepliesDId things change in regards to publishing scenes? I know I can publish preview a scene with the option-command-return, and that still works, however it does NOT replace the swf file in the location chosen in the Publish Settings.
I have an old .fla I need to get swfs published from each scene... this used to be a piece of cake.
I will be putting a website online, it has been built using dreamweaver with imported flash movies. Now when I put this on the server will the flash still be there? Or do I have to publish every single flash component in the file??
View 2 RepliesHow can I use an older version of Flash player when publishing to Man/Win Projector? The Properties says 'Player: 7' but when I publish to Mac/Win (.app/.exe) the file says it uses Flash player 9 (9.0.115.0)! One of our clients are having issues with a project published this way - on autoplay they get a white screen instead of the program screen and after they update Flash on their computer, the application (Projector) works. What's the issue?

When I publish my FLV video using Flash CS3 and the "SkinUnderAll" option...the player controls are not visible unless I change the height & width in the html file Flash created. But, Flash shows the height & width 3-times in the html.
Question-1: Why 3-times? What does each of the 3 Height & Width references do?
Question-2: How should I modify the code to be able to see the entire video and the player controls?
It seems if I change all 3 everything just gets bigger and bigger.
1 - I import it into Flash CS3 on a PC w/XP Pro using... File | Import | Video take all the defaults and choose "Skin Under All" as the player option.
2 - In "Properties" panel at bottom of screen Flash shows the video as 640x480
3 - I then click File | Publish to publish the video. Flash creates all my files for me.
MyVideo.fla
MyVideo.flv
MyVideo.html
MyVideo.swf
SkinUnderAll.swf
AC_RunActiveContent.js
4 - I then put the folder with the files on my website.
5 - The video plays but the player controls are not visible.
6 - I see the Height & Width referenced 3 times in the html file Flash created for me (and none are 640x480, they are 550x400 !)
7 - I try changing the 550x400 to 640x480 in all three places... no good. Even at 1000x1000 the entire player is not visible. Everything just gets larger.
What are each of the 3 references to Height and Width in the html file Flash Creates and which should I change to simply show all the player controls?
I installed the lmc_tween.as extention (which was I downloaded from laco.wz.cz) to MX 2004 pro. But when I publish my movie I get eleven of the following errors:

Needless to say my movie does not work properly even though earlier today, on another computer (a Mac also with MX 2004 pro) it worked fine. My current install is on a PC running XP with Extention Manager 1.6
I am creating a flash game for iPhone using Flash CS5, Everything runs smoothly when creating swf via Ctrl+Enter. But when I am attaching .p12 and provisioning profile files and publish the FLA for generating .ipa there is an error thrown by the compiler that is:

I've just created a quick video player using the FLVPlayBack Component. When I publish, the HTML file always has a bunch of JavaScript in the <header> tab. What is this JavaScript for? I've tried to move the JavaScript into a seperate file and link it in the HTML file, but the .swf will not load. I've also tried just deleting the JavaScript, but the .swf will not load. I have found the only way to get the .swf to play is to keep the javascript in the HTML file. The problem I am looking at is I am building a webpage that will have two seperate video players, thus requiring two seperate .swf files. What I am concerned about is I'll have to have a boat load of JavaScript in the one HTML page which makes it messy. I've tried searching the internet, but not able to find much help. Is there a way around having to keep the JavaScript in the HTML file?
View 4 RepliesI'm using Flash CS4 and have a couple of FLAs (but not all my FLAs) that always get flagged as being modified when I publish. The issue is that my source control keeps wanting to have me check-in those files.
View 1 RepliesHow can I create a flash video using Java.. (Java and JavaScript have nothing to do with each other, in my world Java Script is a useless technology). Does Flash Professional have a Java API and if so how do I get the JavaDocs and an example to see the complexity of that API. Does the Adobe Media Encoder have a Java API that I can use.. if so, JavaDocs and an example?
Picture having two million directories, each directory has 30 photos and a sound clip. From this I want to produce two million flash movies each movie has 30 photos and the sound clip. Each movie has panning of the photos (Ken Burns, Civil War on PBS). What does Adobe have that I can call from within my Java code or Perl perhaps. I need to do this every two weeks, at least. Using a standard user interface is not going to work, even if I hired half of the planet.. I have been on the phone with Adobe for two days and have gotten nowhere.. surly Adobe has something which allows me to automate the creation of Flash movies. right?
flash document is.. 1920 px by 1080 px, 1080p resolution for animation, standard stuff. When I go to export the stage as a PNG files, doesn't matter if I specify the resolution as 1920 by 1080 or click match movie, the exported png file is HUGE, the size to be exact is 8000 by 4500, why is this? I can't find a way to fix that.Secondly, it's not exporting the full stage, it seems to be cutting off most of the right side, see the image below.[URL]

I'm currently working on a LARGE flash presentation broken up into many small flash movies. the files play fine in the timeline, but SOMETIMES when publishing as .swf, the text is not visible, but all the other objects and tweens play as normal. My co-worker is also having this same issue, but we can not figure out why. It seems random and does not happen with all of the files. We are copying and pasting symbols from file to file. i don't think that is the issue, though. i wonder if anyone else is experiencing this or knows why. causing LOTS of extra time spent remaking presentations.
I've been developing a fairly simple presentation in CS4, AS3, OSX, which runs as a standalone projector.Everything was working for a while, but now for no apparent reason, any file I publish as a projector starts the Flash Player app, but the projector does not appear or play.Older versions that I had already published will play correctly, but if I re-publish them they do not work any more.
View 2 RepliesI maybe missing the point or simply not ticking a tick box, I've created a web banner for one of my publications that I work on (please find at the following address [URL].. As you can see I have some aircraft flying away from the tree at the bottom, what I would like to happen that they dissappear when they pass the keyline. I had thought that if I continued the animation onto the pasteboard that when it came to publishing, flash would ignore items this grey area and would act as a trim, am I correct in thinking this? How would I go about correct this so that only the animation within the set parameters appear?
Also is there a way of setting the scale of a flash banner? I have a feeling that this is so simple, but just can't find the panel to set it all.
I recently updated my flash to cs5.5 and my iPad (1g) to the IOS 5 beta. Since then I haven't been able to publish my apps to any IOS device. The apps run in adl and as swf on my macbook pro, but on my iPad (IOS 5) and iPhone 3gs (IOS 5) they just start up and freeze at the stage. I use a loader to load a soundfile and image to the stage right at the start but they just don't show up.
The weirdest thing is that my colleague uses cs5.5 on windows and cs5 on a mac to publish to the same iPad and his apps do work! When I tried to publish on another mac in cs5 I just got the same problem as before.
I hope someone knows a solution for this problem because it is getting on my nerves.
I cannot publish anymore my Web site. When I do "test animation" I got no error and my site is Cool! But When I try to publish is, it stop at the middle of the bar and say that the police should be incorporated with "Texte -> Incorporate the Police". I did it many times, saving the doc and tring to republish my doc with no result. Everytime I try to publish I got the same mistake! I cannot compile my server anymore and make any progress.

View 3 RepliesI have a flash project with about 3500 items - mostly containing movie clips with linkage. The SWF acts as an external library. I publish the SWF file under AS3 + FP9 (also tried FP10) and when I tried to access the items using
var _proAD:ApplicationDoman = loadEvent.target.applicationDomain;
var profileClass:Class = _proAD.getDefinition(item) as Class;var sprite:Sprite = new profileClass();
but all returned null! (after looping through them) - I traced the item's name in the output and they all matched exactly correctly. After a while, I managed to narrow down the problem which leads me to think it's a newly introduced bug in Flash CS5.
Test1: Deleted 500 items from the project, and it worked - all items returned non-null when using the code above. Also tried deleting a different range of 500 items instead of the first 500 - which also worked. This test confirms that all items were not courrpted.
Conclusion: Flash CS5 is unable to successfully publish a project containing over 3500 items in the library. The resulting SWF file size was about 500KB - which indicates it contains something, but still was unable to access the items.
Test2: From CS5, saved the project as CS4 format and opened it with Flash CS4. Published it (via CS4), and it worked. All items returned non-null. Great. However, when I added 500 more items (total of 4000) - it failed both on CS4 and CS5.The publish only takes about 10 seconds. Not very long..
I have a project that I want to port to mobile platform on Android and iOS.The project uses a v.addEventListener(VideoEvent.COMPLETE, completePlay) handler to detect when video is finished playing and trigger the next action.
The project is running perfecty when publishing for Air or Flash Player 9 and above. However when just changing the target player for publishing to Air for Android or iOS the following error occours:Access of possibly undefined property COMPLETE through a reference with static type Class.
