Professional :: Error - IOS Publishing Requires Files Which Are Not Installed?
Sep 7, 2011
Some people reported this error when using Flash Builder, but I am using Flash Pro CS5.5 on a PC with Windows XP. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Pro and Flash Builder but it did not resolve my problem. I was able to publish the same FLA files about a month ago and did a successful test of my app on an iPad. I made a small change to the size of a slider. This error occured when I tried to republish.I don't know what files are missing but I'm guessing it is something to do with installing AIR for iOS. After reinstalling, my Flash CS5.5 folder includes an AIR2.6 subfolder but not AIR2.7
Since there's no official tutorial on how to overlay AIR3.1 into Flash CS5.5 I followed this:http:[url]....... Now, selecting AIR for iOS results in this error: "ios publishing requires files which are not installed".
I've published Mac projector files and .exe file from Flash CS4 for several months without issue. For the past week when I've published Mac projector files the .app icon appears on my desktop but when I try to play the file the dock opens but the file doesn't play. Any Mac projector files I published prior to this problem play fine.I've tried creating a new .fla file and have reinstalled Flash but I'm still having the problem. EXE files and SWF files play fine. Also, the Mac projector files publish at about half the file size they did before this problem, while the EXE and SWF files are the same size.
I have made an App in CS5. I have a release version made, ready to go. It is running on my iPhone with no problem. The error from iTune Connect is 'Application failed codesign versification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.' I am the developer, within a Company account on iOS Developer Account. what could be causing this error and how to fix it?
I installed Flash CS4 a couple of days ago. Trying it out for the first time today. I went to import a video & got a message: "The required version of Adobe Media Encoder is not installed or the installation is damaged. Please reinstall."
I'm showing a Media Encoder CS4 folder under my Adobe folder, so I assume I've got the latest version installed, but it's a corrupt installation & I need to reinstall. My question is: do I need to redo the whole Flash CS4 installation? The reason I ask is that our IT provided me with multiple files for the install - there's ADBEFLPRCS4Win_LS1.exe. That's for the main install. But there's also a ADOBEFLPRCS4Win_Cont_LS1.exe. That's the added content file. I don't want to uninstall/reinstall Flash if I don't have to. Does anybody know if Media Encoder installs from the main Flash installation file, or from the added content installation file?
I am encountering some very strange behaviour with a Flex 4.1 app I am writing which gets in the way of testing. It seems that I can reload the app 16 times and then on the 17th, the loading process fails withError #2046: The loaded file did not have a valid signaturet seems to be consistently happening on the 17th reload on both Firefox 5.0 and Chrome 12. I am not sure if it's relevant, but I am running Flash Player v10.2.159.1 (also happens with 10.3.181.34) on Ubuntu 10.04. Happens with both regular and debugger versions of the player. When I run the app on Windows FF5, it doesn't seem to happen. Closing the current browser window does not seem to fix it. The only way around it is to completely close all browser windows and restart the browser. And then again after 16 successful loads, the 17th fails.
At this point I'm thinking of chalking it as a Linux Flash bug but I'd like to make sure and check if anyone knows if there's something I should be doing to prevent this. The user from this post seems to have had the same problem but I guess he didn't notice the pattern I have.== UPDATE ==I just realized that after my app starts throwing the 2046 error, trying to load any other Flash that uses signed RSLs also shows the 2046 error (e.g. this app), which means the problem is not specific to my app and most likely related to the Flash cache or something of the sort.
I have a swf file-A which requires to key in a password. Can I open this swf file-A with another swf with the password already set in, or open with another software?
I installed fms 3.5 and actually am running apache for php in 8080 and want to make this fms service in different port and made it as 8083 while installing,
After installed when am starting fms using
./fmsmgr server fms start
it shows error message and i checked in messages file it gives already that port is used by someone
"Mar 26 03:59:51 u15393552 Adaptor[12576]: Failed to initialize listeners for adaptor admin, FMS is already running or other adaptor admin"
I have decompiled CS3 fla's and I am trying to publish them as CS4 files. I have Flash CS4 installed on my computer. Some of my files will publish but not all of them will. It is getting rather frustrating trying to publish these files while all I have changed is the text. Although as you must know, the text is now a graphic(from the Flash Decompiler), so I am now trying to publish the new file and it crashes. It does save as an fla but will not before a swf.
I know the message boards keep saying to uninstall Flash CS4 and re-install CS3 but this is not an option for me.
I was testing out some applications written in AS3 and it worked fine untill I encountered one app when I got the Flash10i.ocx error message.I uninstalled and re-installed the flash player and this time when I run the application I got the Flash10k.ocx error. I am using IE 7 and Flash CS5 and my OS is Win XP professional.
I use flash CS3 on Mac OSX and I'm creating several AS2 projects with .as class files. Everything code-wise is working perfectly. The problem comes when I make a change to a particular class file, save the file, and the republish the fla. The changes are almost never reflected in the published swf. The only thing I've discovered to work around this problem and actually get my changes published is to publish to a different flash player version, and then republish back to the version I really want. Somehow that seems to actually get flash to load the most recent version.
It seems like this might be some sort of flash caching problem, but I have no idea how to tell it to always check for the newest version of the file.
I am trying to retrieve the users MAC address to implement an authorization process on a AIR application. I have read that this is possible with the latest version of the AIR SDK (2.0).I am developing in Flash Builder and have discovered that it does not ship with the latest AIR SDK. Therefore I have tried two seperate solutions:
1) Following these instructions for overlaying the latest AIR SDK onto the current Flex SDK.URL...
2) Downloading the latest Flex SDK (4.1) and using that.
In both of these cases Flash Builder then recognises the NetworkInterface and NetworkInfo classes implying that the overlaying of the AIR SDK has been successfully. However when I then run the app the debugger throws an error on the following line:[code]I am not sure what steps to take next. I haven't found much about this online. The following adobe forum page is high on the google search results but when you click through it says I am unauthorized despite being logged in:URL...
I am brand new to Flash and I am completely unsure on how to diagnose and resolve the problems I am having.I am in an online program through the Art Institute and I am currently taking a course to learn the basics of Flash.I am running Flash from CS4 on my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.6.8 and I am having problems opening some of the .fla files that people post. One of two things happens, either:
(1) when I try to open the .fla file I get an pop-up alert (below) and if I click OK the file doesn't open (and clicking OK is my only option, as you see);
(2) I go to open the .fla file and it appears to be opening but then the screen is blank and I get two error reports in the Output pane which says:"VerifyError: Error #1053: Illegal override of isRelatedObjectInaccessible in .RemappedMouseEvent.ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable_ e9a7 52f233536079fc4486d6ac92a1b05a633a5657d5b83ad7fac2246298 b191_flash_ display_ Sprite is not defined."I tried installing all available updates for Flash and that did not solve it. I also tried opening the same .fla files on my husbands MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8 running CS4 and got the same problems.
I am a experiencing an issue with loading of the haeader(flash) on the site I am currently working. Each browser behaves in a similar manner while not displaying flash animated header. I tried to save it as CS3, as CS4 alows me to do so and even that does not work.Details: I am using Dreamvewaver CS4 and Flash CS4 to build this site, could there be some type of an issue with DW4?
I get this message "This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js." when viewing my .swf file which is loaded into a dreamweaver page and uploaded as a html file. so, I downloaded the java script fix for this and uploaded it to my server, it got rid of the pop up message brilliantly, however ..... it has pushed my home page down to the bottom of my page when I view it (about the same hight as my .swf file approx 15cm). As soon as I take the java script off the server it aligns to the top again which is great but the Warning message appears again.
I installed the lmc_tween.as extention (which was I downloaded from laco.wz.cz) to MX 2004 pro. But when I publish my movie I get eleven of the following errors:
[code]...
Needless to say my movie does not work properly even though earlier today, on another computer (a Mac also with MX 2004 pro) it worked fine. My current install is on a PC running XP with Extention Manager 1.6
I am creating a flash game for iPhone using Flash CS5, Everything runs smoothly when creating swf via Ctrl+Enter. But when I am attaching .p12 and provisioning profile files and publish the FLA for generating .ipa there is an error thrown by the compiler that is:
"Incorrect number of arguments, Expected no more than 0" private static function closestVertexOnOBB(p:Vector, r:RectangleParticle):Vector { var d:Vector = p.minus(r.samp); var q:Vector= new Vector(r.samp.x, r.samp.y); for (var i:int = 0; i < 2; i++) { [Code] .....
I'm running XP and have installed 6 .otf fonts, from the Avenir family. Flash MX 2004 and Flash 8 don't see all but the Light and Roman versions of the font (they are the only ones that appear in the font menu). Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop display all the fonts, however.
An associate suggested that sometimes Flash doesn't like the names to be non-standard; in other words, it doesn't like "Heavy", but prefers "Bold", etc. This seems to support the fonts not being displayed in the Flash font menu, as they are AvenirLTStd-Heavy.otf, AvenirLTStd-HeavyOblique.otf, AvenirLTStd-LightOblique.otf and AvenirLTStd-Oblique.otf. The only two being displayed in the font menu are AvenirLTStd-Roman.otf and AvenirLTStd-Light.otf ("Roman" and "Light" are pretty traditional names).
I've tried renaming the fonts to "Bold" and "italic", etc., but Windows still sees the original names. I've tried opening the fonts in Notepad and changing all references (for example, all "Heavy" to "bold"), but saving the font file (even if I add and remove a space) makes it unreadable as a font (security issues, I think). One reason I think it's a naming issue, is I did try renaming Heavy to Roman, and installed it, and Flash saw it as Roman, but it had the Heavy characteristic. This work-around doesn't work, however, as I need Roman, too (and renaming it Roman2 doesn't work). Is there any solution for this? I need access to all of the Avenir font family, as it's for a branded project that uses Avenir specifically. Oh, and last but not least, I have the fonts installed on my Mac, and Flash 8 and CS3 both see all the fonts, no problem.
I use tinychat and tinypic. Now when I go on either one the text is invisible. I cant see any text, its there cause I can copy and paste it. I did not have this problem until I updated my flash.
I recently installed Adobe Flash Professional CS5, but now any SWF I have on my computer won't play. If you double click on them the files aren't recognized by any program. A pop-up window then asks if you would like to search the net for the appropriate program. I downloaded the latest flash player, but that didn't work either.
Is there a drawing board in Flash Professional CS 5.5 installed or an extension? I want to use it to display a text string, and the user would be able to draw above the text. For example I could display a question and the user would be able to circle the right answer. Is it possible?
I need to create a promotional video that needs to be installed in video bulletin board.I am provided the draft of the powerpoint presentation and also with the images. Also this video needs to be in HD quality.I am not sure, where and how to start from.I have Flash CS5 Pro software and Photoshop.
suppose one has two buttons "left" and a "right ".the 'left' moves to the leftand the "right" to the rightand the goal is to move the object "ball"based on this potential requires that script to do this?
I identify my current installed debug version? Basically, I am using Flex 3, for past 2-3 days whenever I launch any Project or debug it, I get the message box saying "Flex Builder requires a more recent version of Flash Player." It says my curent FP as 9.0.115.0 and debug version as 9.0.45.0. However, my actual FP version if FP 10.0.22.87. I don't understand why this confussion! I don't know how can I know my actual version of Debug player.
I've just created a quick video player using the FLVPlayBack Component. When I publish, the HTML file always has a bunch of JavaScript in the <header> tab. What is this JavaScript for? I've tried to move the JavaScript into a seperate file and link it in the HTML file, but the .swf will not load. I've also tried just deleting the JavaScript, but the .swf will not load. I have found the only way to get the .swf to play is to keep the javascript in the HTML file. The problem I am looking at is I am building a webpage that will have two seperate video players, thus requiring two seperate .swf files. What I am concerned about is I'll have to have a boat load of JavaScript in the one HTML page which makes it messy. I've tried searching the internet, but not able to find much help. Is there a way around having to keep the JavaScript in the HTML file?
I'm using Flash CS4 and have a couple of FLAs (but not all my FLAs) that always get flagged as being modified when I publish. The issue is that my source control keeps wanting to have me check-in those files.
