ActionScript 3.0 :: SDK Installed But Flash Builder Still Giving Error

I am trying to retrieve the users MAC address to implement an authorization process on a AIR application. I have read that this is possible with the latest version of the AIR SDK (2.0).I am developing in Flash Builder and have discovered that it does not ship with the latest AIR SDK. Therefore I have tried two seperate solutions:
1) Following these instructions for overlaying the latest AIR SDK onto the current Flex SDK.URL...
2) Downloading the latest Flex SDK (4.1) and using that.
In both of these cases Flash Builder then recognises the NetworkInterface and NetworkInfo classes implying that the overlaying of the AIR SDK has been successfully. However when I then run the app the debugger throws an error on the following line:[code]I am not sure what steps to take next. I haven't found much about this online. The following adobe forum page is high on the google search results but when you click through it says I am unauthorized despite being logged in:URL...
I installed fms 3.5 and actually am running apache for php in 8080 and want to make this fms service in different port and made it as 8083 while installing,
After installed when am starting fms using
./fmsmgr server fms start
it shows error message and i checked in messages file it gives already that port is used by someone

I was testing out some applications written in AS3 and it worked fine untill I encountered one app when I got the Flash10i.ocx error message.I uninstalled and re-installed the flash player and this time when I run the application I got the Flash10k.ocx error. I am using IE 7 and Flash CS5 and my OS is Win XP professional.
So I have a method that takes in a String and then is suppose to set the dynamic textbox on a button to said String.

I really don't understand why this method is producing a 1119 error. Access of a possibly undefined property btext through a reference with static type Button.as The instance name of the Dynamic Textbox is btext and I have tried deleting the textbox and making a new one however this still produces a 1119 error. I also read on another stack question that trying this['btext'].text = caption; which gave me plenty of runtime errors.
ERROR 1046: Type was not found or was not compile-time constant:textline. I have nested my animation into a movie clip and have tried to use a pre-loader on it. The nested movie clip opening screen as a button on and the second screen as back and forward buttons. The movie clip works fine no problem until adding it to the pre-loader. The code for the pre-loader is (below) on frame 1 frame 2 to is tells it to stop and also were my nested movie clip is

I am trying to migrate a project from Flash Builder 4.0 to Flash Builder 4.5. After Flash Builder prompts me to choose my new SDK, I choose 4.5, Then I get the following error:" error "The required skin state 'disabledWithPrompt' is missing".
I am using the following .as file as the component for an itemrenderer in a list. Basically each item is rendered in a TextInput and each TextInput has a remove button as you can see from the code. When clicking the remove button, I want to remove the selectedItem..so I am putting the function removeItem() in MainMxml.xml and calling it from the .as file.
However I am getting an error "Cannot access a method or property of a null object reference".

Some people reported this error when using Flash Builder, but I am using Flash Pro CS5.5 on a PC with Windows XP. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Pro and Flash Builder but it did not resolve my problem. I was able to publish the same FLA files about a month ago and did a successful test of my app on an iPad. I made a small change to the size of a slider. This error occured when I tried to republish.I don't know what files are missing but I'm guessing it is something to do with installing AIR for iOS. After reinstalling, my Flash CS5.5 folder includes an AIR2.6 subfolder but not AIR2.7
I'm trying to place an instance of a movieclip (instance name: tehMovieClip) from the library within another movieclip (instance name: parentMovieClip) on the stage. tehMovieClip, the movieclip going inside another movieclip, belongs to a class called CollisonDetection (linkage properties, class:CollisonDetection, Base Class: flash.display.MovieClip). When I put tehMovieClip inside parentMovieClip, I get this runtime error:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
If I just place tehMovieClip on the stage by itself, it works fine but I need it to be inside parentMovieClip.
I have a flash rotators for a website i am doing for a client.I am able to view and use them if i load them off my computer. But as soon as i load them on to any of my servers and try to access them i am presented with an IO error 2032Now i know this means it cant find the files it needs to load so i then changed all the links to absolutes when it was calling for the necessary files and i still get the error. i have a problem about RDS and blazeds, when i use flash builder 4.5 to connect the server data, there is a rds error (403 or 404),but i can ping the http://10.25.129.151:8400/testdrive/test/" on Chrome or ie. So i don't know how to configure the rds in flash builder 4.5 or i will must configure others?

My issue this time around is trying to use the new DCD BlazeDS wizard in Flash Builder 4. If I set my project up as a combined Java/Flex app I am unable to connect to the RDS servlet using the wizard. I get a 404 error every time.
I'm certain the service is set up correctly since my app can access the exposed java classes and BlazeMonster can see the exposed services.
I'm trying to use server capabilities Flash Builder 4. But using different ways (i use 5 or 6 tutorial) get one and the same error within a week - "Channel disconnected - Channel disconnected before an acknowledgment was received." I looked up "gateway.php" and there was not even a closing tag ?>. Error repeated on a remote server (of course I changed all the settings to the mySQL database). Network monitor also gives error.Show where I can find a solution, please? It may be to blame Zend? But how to update it?
When writing code sometimes those red error icons pop up on the left side. Most of the time they are on point, but sometimes they are wrong. How can I hide them.
I have declared some public static consts within a class Instrument. So that I can hopefully access them like Instrument.SAX, instrument.HARP, etc. etc. But when I go to trace out or compare the consts, it gives me this error: 1058: property is write-only
I have built a FB4 application which accesses a .NET web service of a partner company. The app runs just fine in FB4 development environment, but won't work when published to my server. I can not figure out how to get past the following error: Security error accessing url Destination: DefaultHTTP It is unlikely that I will get a crossdomain.xml file on their server, so I'm trying to get it to work using a proxy. The proxy.php is located in the same directory as the swf, and it works just fine if I use it directly in the browser.

I am attempting to make a collapsing list like the ones in google adwords. The compiler is telling me that addChild is not a valid method. I built this nifty little weather/clock app as a way of learning to work with API's and incorporates both the yahoo weather api and the flickr api. Now that it is in functioning order, I decided I would port it over to a playbook app via a Flash Builder 4.4 ActionScript Mobile project. I was able to get it installed on the playbook simulator just fine however when the app launched it showed a blank stage. After several hours of research I determined it was a runtime error.After several more hours of research I found it was a security error when making a call out to the flickr api. The debugger reports the following error:

I have a component where a Button is wrapped in BorderContainer. I'm passing a custom property to the component at run-time to change the label of the button but Flex is reporting the following error:

Why do I need to do add extra namespace declarations (below) in a Flex 4.1 "MX only component set" project to get it to compile within Flash Builder? (It says mx:LineChart cannot be resolved when a chart is added via Design View, and datavisualization.swc is referenced.)
Is there a way I can get this to compile without adding these special xmlns:charts, xmlns:series and chartClasses to the declaration? (If I just leave the default namespaces and use mx:SomeChartComponent, it doesn't compile.)
I need to pass a struct and a string in a web service. I am using a WebService components to do so.upon my search, there is no struct type in actionscript and so I used a class for that one.
