I am trying to use the IOS in-app native extension, which is found at [URL], and I have linked the SWC with my flash project... The problem I am having is that all of the usage code talks about integrating with a Flex project rather then an FLA - does anyone know if it is possible to port this extension for use with a flash project?
I'm looking into creating an ANE for the facebook ios SDK, just wanted to find out on here whether anyone has already done this / is close to releasing an ANE already ?
If ExtensionDll.dll uses the functions in the other Dll, the extension won't load. DllMain is not called. It seems like DllUsedByExtensionDll. dll is not in the Dll search path when the air application uses the extension is running. How should I make the application find the extra Dlls, if I don't want to put them into some common Dll path?
I am writing an extension that will allow a Flex application to access Android's native image picker. I am able to launch the image picker activity without issue, but after it returns to the caller, which is an FREFunction object, onActivityResult is not called. Because of this, I am unable to figure out what image the user has chosen.
When I use the exact same contents of the FREFunction in a native Android app, The app works fine, and I am able to retrieve the URI of the chosen image in onActivityResult. How can I get onActivityResult to fire, or at least retrieve the information returned by the image picker activity?
Is it possible to return a struct from your native code? It's relatively straight forward to return an int or a boolean but how do you return a more complex struct back to the actionscript?
My issue is when I try to compile my .ipa using the adt tool (through Terminal) I get the following error:
ld: absolute addressing (perhaps -mdynamic-no-pic) used in -[MediaCaptureViewController showCamera] from /var/folders/NP/NPNiEhuUEwGiPRg0Bym7Sk+++TI/-Tmp-/97f7f1f9-6d5e-4486-9ba0- 147ff50f7157/libcom.luxson.mediacapture.a(MediaCaptureViewController.o) not allowed in slidable image. Use '-read_only_relocs suppress' to enable text relocs Compilation failed while executing : ld64
The iOS native extension pops up an instance of the UIImagePickerController and it works apart from the following line of code, which causes the above adt error:
I am working on a native extension for Flash. I am going to invoke my native methods from Flash and pass Dictionary objects where those objects have various data members of various data types. These property types are dynamic and might not be known at compile time.So I found that we have a method called FREGetObjectProperty that says it can return the value given the property name. But in this case since we dont know the property name since it is dynamic, how to extract the property names and values from the Dictionary objects?

I am developing application with Adobe Flex on AIR platform. Using native extension for Android, it is possible to send SMS from my Flex application. Would it also be possible to receive SMS with my application (receive Broadcast carrying information about incoming SMS)? More generally, is it possible to receive Android Broadcasts in my Flex application?
I recently came to know about the adobe flash builder with flex in latest release it supports to achieve the benefits of flash for iOS apps.As i am looking for a calendar based app, before taking the Adobe flash builder as a solution, i would like to be clear on the following queries.
What limitation is there of the ipa file generated from FB 4.5 as opposed to a core COCOA touch based solution What are the performance differences between the FlashBuilder app and natively built iPhone app. Is there any limitation of building a HTML5 based app given the calendar functionality apart from look and Feel.
Recently I came across a long and details blog post or tutorial about creating a music player for air on android, but the audio management was with a native extension.I didn't bookmark it, I have searched quite a bit and I just cant find it again!!!It was only 2 or 3 weeks ago.
i am using Flash-builder 4 and developed an application to capture screen image and save on desktop. But when i click the export button , the flex builder shows me the option to export to file only as shown belowI have downloaded latest air sdk and overwrite file in sdk4.0.0 , now air app works but how will it show me the "export to native installer option"??
I am writing an AIR application through which I want to open a native process 'wordpad.exe' and write data generated in the AIR application to a document.
The wordpad application opens with a blank document but it generates an error Error#2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:.text=Error #3128: Error while writing data to NativeProcess.standardInput.
I am trying to migrate a project from Flash Builder 4.0 to Flash Builder 4.5. After Flash Builder prompts me to choose my new SDK, I choose 4.5, Then I get the following error:" error "The required skin state 'disabledWithPrompt' is missing".
I've been trying to use ffmpeg with an air app that I made in flash cs5.5. I have it so that ffmpeg.exe needs to be located in the directory where the air app is installed (File.applicationDirectory.nativePath). For some reason this only works when I run the program through the flash dev environment. But when I actually deploy the app, I get error #3219:The NativeProcess could not be started. ffmpeg.exe is located in the same folder.
I actually don't know the full message that it gives...not sure what the property of the error that will give me that message when I catch it. All I know is that it's error 3219. Would this be a profile issue? If i didn't have the extended desktop desktop profile, I don't think I would be able to get this error, I'd get a profiling error wouldn't I? I've disabled user access control as well...I'm using windows 7.
I installed the lmc_tween.as extention (which was I downloaded from laco.wz.cz) to MX 2004 pro. But when I publish my movie I get eleven of the following errors:
[code]...
Needless to say my movie does not work properly even though earlier today, on another computer (a Mac also with MX 2004 pro) it worked fine. My current install is on a PC running XP with Extention Manager 1.6
i've created a socket extension class. the pseudo code below tries to make a socket connection using the passed parameters. if there is an security error, such as the port number not being an acceptable port number, i want to handle the security error.
however, i can't catch the security error. a popup window appears with a description of the error and my errorHandler function is never called.
When I try to publish an Air app out of CS5.5 I've started to get this message:It happens with a blank document. I'm using Air 2.5 & 2.6 on SnowLeopard
i have a problem about RDS and blazeds, when i use flash builder 4.5 to connect the server data, there is a rds error (403 or 404),but i can ping the http://10.25.129.151:8400/testdrive/test/" on Chrome or ie. So i don't know how to configure the rds in flash builder 4.5 or i will must configure others?
i'm writing pure ActionScript, without MXML, to create AIR applications.
when i try to reference the documentation by Command + Clicking on code (in this case i Command + Clicked on "Sprite") i receive the following error[code]...
i'm making a mobile app with flash builder but i stumble upon an error. In short terms, you put a text in a text input, u click a button and it only lists the things from the database with that imputted text in it. Here are the codes: ' First the Homeview.mxml: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <s:View xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009" [code]......
My issue this time around is trying to use the new DCD BlazeDS wizard in Flash Builder 4. If I set my project up as a combined Java/Flex app I am unable to connect to the RDS servlet using the wizard. I get a 404 error every time.
I'm certain the service is set up correctly since my app can access the exposed java classes and BlazeMonster can see the exposed services.
I'm trying to use server capabilities Flash Builder 4. But using different ways (i use 5 or 6 tutorial) get one and the same error within a week - "Channel disconnected - Channel disconnected before an acknowledgment was received." I looked up "gateway.php" and there was not even a closing tag ?>. Error repeated on a remote server (of course I changed all the settings to the mySQL database). Network monitor also gives error.Show where I can find a solution, please? It may be to blame Zend? But how to update it?
When writing code sometimes those red error icons pop up on the left side. Most of the time they are on point, but sometimes they are wrong. How can I hide them.
I am trying to retrieve the users MAC address to implement an authorization process on a AIR application. I have read that this is possible with the latest version of the AIR SDK (2.0).I am developing in Flash Builder and have discovered that it does not ship with the latest AIR SDK. Therefore I have tried two seperate solutions:
1) Following these instructions for overlaying the latest AIR SDK onto the current Flex SDK.URL...
2) Downloading the latest Flex SDK (4.1) and using that.
In both of these cases Flash Builder then recognises the NetworkInterface and NetworkInfo classes implying that the overlaying of the AIR SDK has been successfully. However when I then run the app the debugger throws an error on the following line:[code]I am not sure what steps to take next. I haven't found much about this online. The following adobe forum page is high on the google search results but when you click through it says I am unauthorized despite being logged in:URL...
I have built a FB4 application which accesses a .NET web service of a partner company. The app runs just fine in FB4 development environment, but won't work when published to my server. I can not figure out how to get past the following error: Security error accessing url Destination: DefaultHTTP It is unlikely that I will get a crossdomain.xml file on their server, so I'm trying to get it to work using a proxy. The proxy.php is located in the same directory as the swf, and it works just fine if I use it directly in the browser.
The following is what I currently have setup:
proxy.php: <?php $session = curl_init(trim(urldecode($_GET['url']))); // Open the Curl session curl_setopt($session, CURLOPT_HEADER, false); // Don't return HTTP headers curl_setopt($session, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true); // Do return the contents of the call
I am attempting to make a collapsing list like the ones in google adwords. The compiler is telling me that addChild is not a valid method. Here is my code: package comps { import spark.components.Button; import spark.components.Group; import spark.components.TextArea; public class CollapsibleList extends Group { [Code] ..... I am assuming the compiler isn't lying to me so how do I get those objects (children) to appear?
I built this nifty little weather/clock app as a way of learning to work with API's and incorporates both the yahoo weather api and the flickr api. Now that it is in functioning order, I decided I would port it over to a playbook app via a Flash Builder 4.4 ActionScript Mobile project. I was able to get it installed on the playbook simulator just fine however when the app launched it showed a blank stage. After several hours of research I determined it was a runtime error. After several more hours of research I found it was a security error when making a call out to the flickr api. The debugger reports the following error:
SecurityError: Error #3207: Application-sandbox content cannot access this feature. at flash.system::Security$/allowDomain() at global$init()[C:UserspoorpaddyAdobe Flash Builder 4.5ScriptsflickrGrabber.as:43]
I have a component where a Button is wrapped in BorderContainer. I'm passing a custom property to the component at run-time to change the label of the button but Flex is reporting the following error:
Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference
When the error occurs, Flex highlights the following code:
