IDE :: Tab Index Green Box?
Mar 13, 2007I've set the tabIndex for three input boxes in a flash form. When tabbing through the boxes I get a green highlight. Is there a way to change the color or eliminate the highlight all together?

sendStream.peerStreams[0].send("MyFunction",param1,param2);
and I have to determine which peer I'm sending to by their ID such as "peerID1234"
I know that you can check the peerID of the stream by doing:
sendStream.peerStreams[0]["farID"]
how can I make my send stream function know to use the array index where the peerID is?
so basically it could be like:
sendStream.peerStreams[where peerStreams[]["farID"] == peerID].send("MyFunction",param1,param2);

Jul 19, 2010I am trying to learn AS3 and I am trying something very basic that I can't seem to get to work.
I have a square with a short text inside of it. The fill color of the square is green. I grouped these items and converted them to a symbol called "rectangle". Then I placed a checkbox on top of the movie clip and gave it an instance name of "check".
What I want to do is change the color of the rectangle from green to red whenever the checkbox is selected.
I think I know "how" to do it - if checkbox selected = true - then change color to red. I am looking for the syntax.

Nov 29, 2009I am trying to modify my personal/work site [URL]. Recently found this great little flash player at flabell - files here: [URL]. The .fla file is included so colours can be customised, I want to lose the green and go with grey tones - I've bumbled about and pretty much changed everything, but I am stuck on one part - if you see the example (link above), and hover over the white rounded box where the play button/pause button is, the white box will fade into a light green. I cannot find how to change this light green anywhere. I've checked other files for a reference to the colour and really cant find anything, the only thing possibly I thought it might be is within project/source/caurina/transitions/properties/ColorShortcuts.as, but I haven't a clue how to change it or what to change..or even if it is within that file.

By clicking the box it will turn red or green, and below it will display the sum of all the green boxes. This is really just a test kind of for a bigger project that I have to do for work. Basically it all works except for the summing part, which I believe has something to do with the fact that it is in a function, but I could be way off.

How can I avoid the textArea outline color? I guess there must be a piece of AS out there which would help, it's just I did not find it and Official Docs won't say much about it.it does not happen so if compiled the movie under AS 1.0. It only has this behaviour when published with AS 2.0 (and perhaps AS 3.0 donno).

Jul 20, 2010I have a menu button. When this button is pressed the drop down menu appears. The whole actual functioning menu works great as it is fairly simple to create, but what I can't get to work is a button within the menu that drops down.I first saw this example in a flash movie I downloaded here and have attempted to basically recreate it, except to not use action script on the buttons themselves, but rather from the main time line for good coding practice.As you can see pressing the green button after the menu appears does nothing instead of tracing "works".

after updating to the latest flash player version, i get this double image top and bottom with a large green line running halfway from right to left.the top image is identical to the bottom image.this only happens in ie and does not do this in firefox.after a few days of trying to fix it and couldnt, i loaded an image prior to the flash player update to fix it.this was fine until i had to upgade the flash player again.im not sure if im doing this right but here is a bmp file of what im trying to describe .http:[url]...i can always restore the image again prior to upgrade but i got the feeling this will came back again and the only way to fix it is to fix it right.

I don't know why always first loaded photo is loading with null object error and without of smoothing, but any next photo is loading fine without of any errors and with smooth option enabled.The gallery is loaded into main.swf with Loader class.

Apr 5, 2010Ive copied some code for an xml image viewer that contains a thumbnail scrollbar which loads an enlarged image on click. I want to change the code to go to the next image when I click on the big image. I cant seem to figure out how to find the current index number and add 1 to go to the next one in the onClickBack function.
