I have imported all my images into flash using photoshop and the quality looks really good and crisp in Flash, but when it comes to exporting, testing or publishing the animation the images either appear pixeley or blurry. I have gone through all my file settings and everything
View 1 RepliesThe quality of sound when playing my flash file on the timeline in flash CS4 is excellent, however when I go to test movie the sounds quality becomes awful, like its being played in a tunnel on terrible speakers, my sound files are .wav files, am I missing a process I must do to ensure the quality of sound is carried through to the final published animation?
View 1 RepliesI have made an animation, when i veiwed it as a preveiw in flash CS4 it works fine.So I published it as both a HTML fie and SWF.The HTML file runs perfectly fine, but the SWF file is missing almost all of the illustrations and the play button at the begining, the sounds all work fine however.
View 1 RepliesEverytime I export a .gif animation the quality is horrible. As you can see by the picture attached it goes blury and has wierd colours. I have had animations export so bad that you can barely reconize them.
View 10 RepliesWhen publishing a project from Camtasia Studio 7, the params list includes a setting for quality. But instead of the usual "high" value, it sets it to "best". I Google'd and searched these forums but had no luck finding any definitive explanation if these two settings are equivalent. Can anybody enlighten? This topic also spurred another question, does the quality default to the highest value if the parameter value is invalid?

View 5 RepliesMy main project loads an external .swf ("room") depending on which button the user clicks. Once that external .swf ("room") is loaded, the viewer chooses a ("demo") .swf to view. For each button click, a loader is to appear showing the viewer that the desired room or demo is loading. All of this works fine for the web...please click the link below to view. The problem exists when I try to publish as an .EXE. We'd like to send these out to prospects on CD and thus I need an .EXE to autorun when insterted in a PC. I've publised the main .SWF (overhead map) as an .EXE and burned a cd containing all necessary files. Now when the user clicks a room and then a demo, the loader that shows up fine on the web does not appear.

and on google chrome i have just click on screen for it to show otherwise nothing happens.

View 4 RepliesI produced an ActionScript 3.0, Flash Player 10 swf in a newly downloaded CS5 (trial version). The file loads fine in both Chrome and Safari on my computer. But when I open it on another machine I only get five animated dots - ..... - in a "wait while loading" manner. The swf never starts. Same on my brother's computer.
My browser has Flash Player 10,1,52,14 installed along with CS5 (swf works). My other computer claims to have Flash Player 10,1,53,38 installed (swf doesn't work). My brother's computer has Flash Player 10,0,45,2 (swf doesn't work).I've tried various publish configs such as on/off xml meta data, on/off hidden layers, embed minimal or more of my font etc.When I configure for ActionScript 2.0 and/or Flash Player 9 my animation breaks totally.
Mu published FLASH html files will not scroll when minimized. I tried changing the publishing setting to pixels but that doesn't work.
View 11 RepliesI want to take a simple published animation and put it into SONY VEGAS. However, I only want the character (I've created a symbol for it) and not the big white stage. My goal is to get the animated character on top of all my sony vegas layers, but the stage is blocking all the other layers. Is there some kind of setting that can make the stage transparent when publishing as a SWF?
View 3 RepliesI have a simple static text MovieClip that is masked in the timeline the traditional way - layer above the text layer has a rectangle and that layer is set to mask. This looks fine in the timeline while authoring. As soon as I publish it as Flash 9, the text disappears
View 3 RepliesI have created a small flash move 40px x 40px and placed a movieclip in the centre of the stage. When I publish the file it positions the movieclip to the right of the published window. When I trace the movieclips x and y the movieclip position is correct. It almost looks like there is some sort of margin around it. Flash CS5

View 3 RepliesMy flash design crashes! I published everytime I finished few steps. First few publications in html/ swf were okay, but after a few new steps the things all went wrong: the button went missing, the whole did not stop at frame1 as in my action script, some of the images went missing. I then deleted new steps hoping to get the thing back to normal, but it remained. After every futile effort I did (restarted pc, republished, saved as...), I suspected that there are BUGS whether in flash or in my pc, I did an experiment by simply creating a new layer and inserting an image in the layer, I published, and this time all the images has gone!

View 3 RepliesI have six Scenes, each scene has an imported FLV file.I have a 6 button menu that works fine when clicking from one scene to the other.The problem is is that videos 1 to 4 play fine when I switch to the scene, but FLV files 5 and 6 just stay paused at frame 1.If I test the Scene using Ctrl+ALT+Enter, the Scenes work fine.But Only if I either hit Ctrl+Enter to render the whole project, or if I publish the file, do the FLV files pause on frame 1.All 6 videos are coded exactly the same way.
View 4 RepliesI am running Windows 7/64 and Master Collection. I've created a clip of DV NTSC footage to test F4V publishing. Done this many times with CS3 and flv files but this has me stumped. I can successfully view the video and web page locally in IE and Netscape but on upload to my server I have the menu and placement right but no video appears. I created the clip in Premiere Pro CS5 and exported to F4V/FLV best quality. Opened an Actionscript Media DV NTSC template in Flash Pro CS5 and imported the video which I had pre-placed in my root web folder locally. I then exported the swf and saved the fla. All files were then in my root folder and the scrpts in the scripts folder. In Live View in Dreamweaver CS5 all looked fine. In each browser locally the video played as expected. Once all files were uploaded the video was not visible.

I created a flash file that contains a flv file inside. After I published it on my Mac in both html and swf format and it played well. But when I copied all this folder include the swf, html and the source flv to test on a pc it played well but the video part (flv) was blank. So I copied the .fla file to pc and published again, then it works fine (including the flv video part) on both pc and Mac. All the settings were same while publishing.So I wonder what's wrong with publish from Mac side? I work with Mac and so it's very inconvenient to publish my work on PC.
View 5 RepliesI have an MP3 file in Flash 5.5 that I have edited in the properties panel of the frame where the sound is...I basically cut a couple seconds off the beginning by editing the timeline. It plays fine when I'm in Flash, but when I publish the movie, the sound is published unedited.

View 11 RepliesI am designing my whole app in photoshop and currently in the process of moving all of the images to flash to add interactivity. The promblem is, when we put the app on the iphone the quality of the graphic is lowered for some reason. When I am building in photoshop my settings: 640px by 960px 72 ppi Saving out as a .jpg When I send the jpg as a picture to my iphone 4 and view it in my "Photos" app, it looks great, but on the test app it loses quality. Does anyone have anyone have any idea whats going on here?

View 10 RepliesI am converting a regular movie from Windows moviemaker wmv export (exported at highest quality) and converting it with Xilisoft flv converter (at highest quality upon conversion) and I noticed the output quality of the final FLV is degradated a little. Some of the symptoms are: lower light, slight pixelation,and loss of crisp detail. Audio sounds great but why does the picture lose it's clarity from how it looks in moviemaker? I can see the crispness of the outlines in the video in Moviemaker, but in the final flv, it loses that. Is there anything I can do to make it keep it's original crisp look like how it looks in MM, or do you have to expect a loss of quality when using flvs?

View 3 RepliesThe video gallery on my website uses an an FLV video gallery downloaded from Adobe. When I encode my Flash files to Quicktime then to FLV they look perfect but once uploaded onto my site and played back through the gallery the quality suffers, especially text which loses it's vector crispness.Url...The videos are under 'portfolio' the best example of my problem is the INTEL video 3 rows down, second left, text looks rounded when it should be sharp.I have run the videos through Adobe media encoder and After Effects and again whilst looking fine when played locally they degenerate once uploaded.
