View 1 RepliesI bought Production Premium so that I can make movies. But today I need a website topper (just a little motion graphic 850X226) I made my graphic that I like in After Effects, but now I need to put it in flash so it will play smoothly as a website title. It is importing at WAY too large of a file size when I import it into my website as a movie (>2MB) And how to make it into flash.
I tried "exporting" my comp as a .swf but the swf isn't playing parts of my video are not playing (certain effects and lights). what I need to do to get my title bar to play on a website perfectly.
while ago I made a created a basic effect in Flash CS4 whereby a selection of logos on my web-page gradually disappeared (in the same spot, not shrinking in size first or any other of the effects displayed in the motion presets) think this was done by some kind of preset but it doesn't seem to be in the motion presets panel. I can not seem to remember how it was done and I can't find the relevant settings. I don't know ActionScript so it was definitely a preset.Enclosed are some screen shots of the effect that I mean (stages every few seconds until they completely disappear).
View 1 RepliesI am now trying to make a flash intro for my web site.I have downloaded some free templates for the same and examined them.Some special effects, means colour abstrract moving effects or explosion like effects are in that 'fla' file.They appear as movie clips. I can export them as flv also.How they are created? Is it in flash itself or from some other programs like after effects or something?I would like to create such effects for myself. If it is not in flash, then there is no point in wasting time figuring out the methods by myself.
View 6 RepliesI was curious if there is a way to import Illustrator files seamlessly into flash. My project in Illustrator has a lot of effects like drop shadows
here is what the file looks like: [URL]
so as you can see it is pretty complex. I want to import as much as I can in vector so that it saves on load time since i already built it in vectors. is it possible to import most of it in vector then just rastor the stuff that might not translate like gaussian blur etc?
I'm having a real bad time with Flash CS5, mostly by how it is exporting stuff and is unable to seemingly work with After Effects CS5, the other big program I use in my workspaceIt seems that anytime I include text into my Flash file in CS5, I am alerted that the text layout has been exported to an external file at which point it will not be imported correctly with any animation in After Effects I've read that this has something to do with the new CS5 TLF mode.
View 2 Repliesthere are many flash with obviously too complicated video effects thsat impossible to create in Flash itself even with most advanced actionscript. I purchased couple of samples and it turns out its just sequence of images from the video i guess. So my question what video programs are used to create this and what effects packs are availible for flash or that video programs i rather buy stack than pay per each.
View 1 RepliesI am need a wide range of sound effects for flash projects.
View 3 RepliesSo I'm designing a website in flash. I want users to be able to mouseover an image OR text to create the desired effect. The idea is a group of pictures that go from black and white to color if you mouse over them OR the text (links) below. So I need to somehow link the rollover effect.
View 3 RepliesCan anyone recommend any 3rd party programs for automating text effects or other types of effects?
View 1 Repliesive made a project of equalizers playing going up and down as e.q do.when i export the swf file its plays perfect but when i import it into after fx the e.q are static there is no motion.just the objects that are not masked are animating.
View 5 RepliesI am using the following code (Actionscript 3) to animate my button:
stop();import fl.transitions.Tween;import fl.transitions.easing.*;
var HomeTween:Tween = new Tween(Home, "x", Elastic.easeOut, -500, 20, 5, true);
Home.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,HomeClickHandler);
function HomeClickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void { navigateToURL (new URLRequest

I make stop motion films and am tired of having the ameteur look of not having effects. I am trying to learn how to add backgrounds using greenscreens, maybe put images/videos(animated and/or realistic) of things like fire, lasers, etc. and I'm just wondering, does Adobe supply some sort of program that could allow me to do this? I just don't even know where to begin. I've taken a course in Flash animation and so I'm familiar with what it can do, I'm just not sure if I'm able to add images I've created in Flash to a stop motion film in another editing program.
View 1 RepliesI have a movie clip (Dropped_mc) which I would like to drop it when it goes up to a certain level? What is the code to achieve this effect?
View 6 RepliesI am a Trainee Web Designer. I have done a few major projects for websites and stuff using alot of Adobe Programs but i have this job where i need to make a map of a school with rollover mouse effects. So when the mouse rolls over the Admin Building on the map, a large picture of the Admin Building comes up. Then when the mouse is moved away the images closes. I need to do that with about 8 images. I have one main image which is an arial of the school, then there is different sections that i need to make 'active'
How can i go about doing this? i have looked for tutorials for ages now but they are either outdated or too advanced for me, i just need a tutorial that can show me how to achieve my goal. i cotton onto things very quickly so i dont get lost unless things get too advanced or there is a lack of explanation.
I'm having a very basic problem, im trying to do a slow zoom/scale of an image (jpg), in this case its a company logo. the problem im having, as you'll see is that this causes edge effects, they are shakey/aliased.almost looks like some sort of antialiasing is required.
View 3 RepliesIs there any SWF to Video converters can convert flash to AVI with 32-bit RGBA transparency? Whats good?

View 1 RepliesI have a question about layer effects and filters - firstly are there any way to do layer effects in flash (like in photoshop "stroke" "outter glow" etc...) also is there any sort of plug ins to do special effects - perhaps with particles, or with pretty effects that I can buy.
View 2 RepliesInside movieClip container, there are colored buttons on layer1 and on layer2 there is movieClip square which covers the buttons. I want to use the color efffects and blending options of movieClip square to make layer 1 alpha. There are some blending options called alpha, difference, lighten and substract but Im not getting the right combinations. I want to make layer1 alpha only by using layer2.
View 1 RepliesI have a movieclip acting as a button and when the mouse rolls over it I would like the symbol to brighten slightly. Is there a way to do this in actionscript 3?
View 1 Repliesis there any way to control the brightness of a movie clip or button on mouse roll over so that it gets brighter when the mouse is on it? I could only find things for earlier versions of AS and i couldnt figure out how to change them..
View 1 Repliesi am wondering if you can set the brightness of the WHOLE MOVIE with the use of a + and - button in an options menu.. if so how?
View 9 RepliesIve stumbled upon a few sites that have free sound FX's but the ones I want which I wuld think are the easiest to get I cant find.I want a sound for when someone clicks the right thing, like a under a sec tiriring or something like when you kill a guy in Leauge of Legends or something like that and also one for when you click the wrong thing like an windows warning ut a little different, yet all the sites and SFX I come across are for everything but those.

View 2 Replieshow to tween brightness on an object?
Right now I'm using:
var double:Tween=new Tween(pointer1, 'scaleX', None.easeIn, 1, 2, 3, true);var double2:Tween=new Tween(pointer1, 'scaleY', None.easeIn, 0, 50, 3, true);var moveleft1:Tween=new Tween(pointer1, 'x', None.easeIn, 0, 200, 3, true);
But I also want to scale the brightness of it. Is it even possible?
I was working on a project a few months ago, which I had to put on hold but am finally getting back to. One major feature I need that I wasn't able to figure out before was how to measure the average brightness of an image file loaded as a movieclip. I remember spending hours going through tutorials but I wasn't able to get it working. Now I don't even remember what or where I read before and I'm not keen on rereading all of it and still not knowing what to do.
I just want the simplest possible way to get an average brightness level of an image, I don't care which way the brightness is measured as it is only important relative to other images which will be measured the same way.
How can I change the brightness of a MovieClip dynamically through actionscript? I've seen a few examples online but none of them are working too well.
View 6 RepliesI have a brightness file with 'actions' running error free....... But my final result won't do anything....
The file executes and the slider works but the picture doesn't get brighter or darker at all..
ActionScript Code:
import flash.display.Sprite;
import fl.events.SliderEvent;
import flash.geom.ColorTransform;
[Code].....
I have imported all SliderEvents , ColorTransform, and Sprite events.. I defined each variable and gave both my 'image' and 'panel' their instance names.
My 'bValue' textfield has been given the instance name of 'bValue' .... here's the file to show you all what I mean.
What else do I need to do for this to actually do something??? I studied a little as3 in the past and learnt how to make mc's and that's about it...
This is my fully working brightness slider.
ActionScript Code:
var colorTransform:ColorTransform = new ColorTransform();
function Main():void
{
[Code]....
today I'm attempting to store the current value in my slider so I can trace the value...
How should I store the brightness value?? should I create a new variable such as
ActionScript Code:
Var:currentValue:colorTransform
I tried to do that and it just gave me 'null' when I traced it. I used trace(currentValue). and it gives me '0'. even when I go brighter!
