Professional :: Pictures Effect Keeps Moving On Top Of The Picture?

Ugh how to start...Each thumbnail image is a link which enlarges to an easel to the right with a neat effect. If you move the cursor over a thumbnail it has a little effect on it (very transparent "snow" like on a TV screen) I don't know why Flash keeps "moving" (if you call it that) the snow effect on top of the thumbnails when I open the file at a later time. All I remember doing is just editing simple text and swapping one bitmap thats not even tied to the thumbnails.
I can still click the thumbnails and they open to the right just fine. I just don't get why the "effect/link" moves on top of the thumbnails. If I delete the snow it deletes every effect on the website so they won't enlarge to the right. I don't care if I lose the effect but I don't remember/know how to make each thumbnail a link so they open on the spot I want.

I'm taking a stab at learning adobe cs4 flash. How can I combine different text and pictures into 1 picture? For example, Iposted a link of tutorials below:URL...Now say I would like a background to fade in, then the picture of a car, then the text. How would go about this? I already have all the images separated (background, car, and text using photoshop), but I would like the background to slowly fade in, then make the car slowly fade in while coming from the left of the screen, and then the text fades in.

I have a project that contains 8 UILoaders that are "housed" within movie clips. I realize that you can not move the component, but I read that you can move it IF you put the loader inside a movie clip. I'm able to get the movie clips to move now, however, the pictures (which are in an xml file) will not load now. Dang the bad luck! They loaded before I changed the loader to within a clip - so now it moves but won't load.

I'm trying to get this effect [URL] but, instead of scrolling through pictures from an xml I want it to load one movieclip from the library and pan in and out as shown in the demo.

I have this picture which has the dimensions 5599x660 and it's kinda like a moving background, it's moving to the left.Now, when it reaches the end I want it to be replaced by the same pic.Stage size is 950x720.I came up with two possible options:
1. make a duplicate of the pic movieclip and place it on stage right behind the first one and then when the first one is off stage place it right behind the second one and so on...
2. have flash duplicate the pic automatically and place it right behind the original one (I read about that option somewhere I think it's called DuplicateMovieclip)[code]
1. it works, but after the first round - it goes through image 1 (img) then through image 2 (img2) perfectly and then when it's supposed to place image 1 right behind image 2 there's a space of about 100 pixels between them... I don't know why because I gave the right x coordinates in the code...
2. now when u still go on and u go through (the misplaced) image 1 (img) and then u come to the point where it's supposed to place image 2 (img2) right behind image 1 there's also a space between them but only maybe of 5 pixels.How come that with the same pictures with the same code for both of them it's doing something different both times ?

move picture according to mouse movement.
I have this picture moving based on mouse position. Can anyone tell me how to stop it from moving when the pic reaches the edge of the stage? On the example posted I can't stop it from moving, it goes all over the place.

I read the Movement using ActionScript tutorial [URL]. My question is: How can I make the box stop at a certain point, instead of disappearing. What I want to do is to have a picture move from right to left, and then have it stop when it reaches the left side of a banner that I'm trying to make. I'm working with an image of a ship, and I want to make it look like it's floating from the right, and when it reaches the end, I want it to stop there and have text appear on the right side of the pic.

I found a polaroid flash picture gallery where you can move the pictures around in the flash.I want to stick this flash in a flash I am currently making, where I have 4 different link buttons, and when you click on each, the current page slides out and that page slides in. I want to incorporate this polaroid flash so that when you click on one of the buttons, this polaroid flash will slide in.

I want to make a picture gallery and use buttons that move you from picture to picture and backwards, but I don't want to tell button 1 to go to frame 2 and button 2 to got to frame 3 and so on (I hope you know what I mean)Can I use on button on a separate layer with the same action set? I have a logo I created for my webpage with FreeHand. I have finally learned how to do a lighting mask to have the effect of the moving gleam across my logo, but whenever I try to create the effect (using different methods even) it isnt' working correctly. Only part of my logo is being affected by the mask. I have tried all the things that I can think of to make this work. So far the only thing that has worked is changing the vector logo into a jpeg and plugging it into flash, but I really don't want to do that due to resolution and cleaness of the image. I am including links to the 2 files - the original logo as well as the masking .fla file that I have been trying to make work.

I'm having two problems. First of all, the gallery loads all pictures at once. The more pictures in the XML file, the slower they all load. Secondly, I wanted the pictures to scroll in its _y coordinate, similar to Sugar Rhyme's website portfolio (see url]...).

I am in CS5 on an iMac. I am a beginner at Flash and trying to learn how to do specific tasks asked of me by my supervisor just by using the Adobe forums. This is what they want me to do: Show am image of a postcard that we sell, then have it morph into a poster (much larger) with a customizable area highlighted. I have learned how to put the postcard image on the stage and motion tween it to a larger version of itself, but I need that larger version to actually be a different image. Is there a way I can do this in CS5?

I want to basiclly create a spot the differance game but instead of the user being able to just click on side of the pictures to get the answer, i want them to click on one picture and than the other picture to get the answer. So basiclly they have to click on the picture on the left and than on the right to mark something as a answer which would link both pictures. Or another example, is linking two tables. If i had two tables up and the objective was for the user to link one line of the table to another on the other table, it would link and draw a link from one side to the other showing the link.

There are 9 movie clips in each square (object) and the color in each movie clip can be changed by mouse click. However, if I want to magnify one of the squares by clicking on that, then I can click on each movie clips to change the color. How can I do it?? Can I create another movie clip and cover the square for clicking to magnify?
