We are creating an ecommerce site for my business and am trying to create a flash file that will allow the end user to select a color from a palette of 64 different swatches that they would like their item to be so it processed it into the order. I only need to create the flash file so they can select the color.

View 3 RepliesI use a custom color palette in Flash CS5.5, it was originally created in flash 8. I have it saved as default in the swatches tab. Every time I create a new document it loads this original color palette. But after I save the file, close it and re open it, it always loads the web 216 palette.

i have a button, with instance name lightblue_color. I am assigning a color to its color field like this: lightblue_color.transform.colorTransform.color = 0x65ffff; then i am adding an eventlistener to the button like this: lightblue_color.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, ChangeColor); Then, in the function: public function ChangeColor(evnt:MouseEvent):void {trace(evnt.target.transform.colorTransform.color);} It prints 0. Why is that? Shouldn't it print 0x65ffff or do i need to do some type conversions?

All of the hardware is located inside a medium sized room in a school building.At the start of the app, each user can select 1 role from a pool of 8. However, the socket connection runs at less than realtime, probably because of latency from the wi-fi, so it's possible for two users to make the same selection at the same time. How would I prevent this?

I'm creating a text editor and I want users to be able to select only part of a textfield and change the color.The problem I'm running into is the ColorPicker gains focus (I'm guessing) and the textfield loses it's "selection."All examples of text editing show the entire textfield changing color.
View 1 Repliesive got most of my playlist set. it consists of dynamic text boxes which read id3 songNames. ive got the playlist items to be inactive when the corresponding song is playing, but i'd also like the text color to change (which isn't responding).on the stage, the playlist items are built like this: dynamic text box songTitle, inside movie clip song#btn, inside movie clip playlistMC.
