Professional :: Get The Frames Back?

I accidentally clicked an area on the timeline that made all the frames to the right of the layers disappear. I've gone through all the menus including VIEW and WINDOW where I thought I would be able to make the frames appear and can't find it anywhere! I've docked and un-docked, moved around the timeline and still can't get the frames back. Adobe HELP couldn't help me. How do I get the frames to get back to the right of the layers?

This is probably really simple but I don't know what I am doing. I have two arrows, one to go back and one to go forwards. They can move 5 frames either way - or go to the next or previous frame label - same thing. I can't seem to get it to work

I have a Flash website with 3 interfaces( 3 frames with movie clips inside). they have a button that goes to different loaded .html page(text). But once the back button is pushed on the web browser, it always goes back to the first frame instead of the actual last page, which might have been frame 2 or 3.

I'm making a game with health bars in it and I'm trying to have it so that if a character is hit, the bar will go forward a certain number of frames before it eventually hits zero.The thing is, I'm a dunce and I'm not sure how to do this exactly. All I need to know is the going ahead a certain number of frames part.Say on an action I needed a movie clip to go ahead three frames. How would I code that? I thought I could use nextFrame(); while putting a 3 in the parenthesis, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

So I have a movie with 20 frames...on each frame...there is a question...so I want the user to access that pool of questions...when it pops up...it will randomly choose a Frame to go to...Now...how do I go about...when that Frame is chosen...take it out of the pool of the random questions...so it doesn't land on that frame again...I'm thinking with variables maybe...but I actually don't know how to even begin to write the code for that.

I have a page which has an intro animation which lasts 314 frames and finishes with a button. When you click the button it takes you to a separate html page with a scrolling photogallery. When I click the 'back' button in the photogallery it takes me back to the first html page with the intro animation.
How do I make sure that when I click the back button it skips the first 314 frames (bearing in mind I am returning from a separate html page)?

So I have my function here which sets up the tween for movieClips that have images on them:

This code is done 20 times with different images added to two different movieClips (b0 and b1) that are waiting in the library. So, the glitch is - this function works damn near perfectly except after a while of navigating to other frames and coming back to the frame with this sometimes the b0 wont tween all the way onto the stage and sometimes not at all. And dont worry about the b0 not being described as a variable I have done this outside the button function as I was getting error messages. I have spent almost a week tooling around with this but nothing works I get the same glitches.

I have CS3, but was trying out the CS5 trial. Unfortunatedly i forgot to save my .fla back to something CS3 could use! Smooth I know, but does anyone know of a way to convert back, or would anyone with CS5 be able to save my file as something CS3 could use? If that is even possible.

I have created an interactivity to simulate a product. To do this my project has multiple frames. Each frame contains an individual movie clip. The clips each contain buttons that change the display and go to and stop on specific frames based on which button was pressed. My problem is, after the interaction a movie clip may have been stopped on say frame 12, the next time the frame containing the movieclip is opened on the main timeline I need the movieclip to open on frame 12 . However, the movie clip opens back up at frame 1 each time not saving the interaction.

I am trying to create my first flash animation in Flash CS4 but my first frame should be at frame 771 and my timescale is only up to 550. Is this a limit or can it be set somewhere? I couldn't find such option.

The buttons in the flash movie also link to movie frames in the flash and external html pages. Once movie plays and stops, all links work fine, the links to the anchors and the links to the other html pages, however when I try and link back to the flash movie from an external html page, to specific frames in the flash movie, the html link will link back to flash movie frame fine, however once your back in the flash movie, none of the buttons in the movie work anymore.I have embedded the flash movie in an HTML and published it with anchors,"home, about, events etc.used this code for several buttons in the flash linking to frame anchors in the movie:

I am an extreme newbie at Flash and AS3.I've just been reading all I can this past week and trying to put together what I had hoped was a simple project in flash for our Website banner. I'll try to describe my project and the part that I am stuck at.[URL]..
You'll see a large green banner near the top of the page that advertises one of our products. In Flash, I have created a rotating banner with five images like the one shown on our site. I have it rotating on an 8-second basis, and I have it so that when someone clicks on my invisible button (the whole banner part) that it goes to that product's web page. I've also added five small buttons in the bottom right corner, so that someone can hover over them and go back to one of the rotating images if they missed what was shown, etc.
I have figured out how to create the buttons and have them shown red, when hovered on each layer. The part that I am stuck at, is I don't know how once I write my action for each button, to have them link back to one of these rotating banner images. I know this is possible, I just don't know AS3 or any programming for that matter to understand what my options are for the function script. I have each one set up as an instance so that I can add the EventListener when they click on it, I just don't know what to put other than a URL, since that is all I am familiar with. Flash CS5 on Windows 7 I have a problem with a project I am creating. I have created 3 buttons which when clicked open other movieclips for each button. On each of the movieclips that the buttons send them to, all have a back button to return them back to the original view.
This back button works fine apart from once they are back at the original view, the 3 buttons stop working.

I have some PNG files with alpha numbered 'image0001.png' up to 100 frames. I want to import this as an animation (movie?) into Flash CS4. The docs for Adobe Media Encoder suggest there should be an "export stills as movie" option under Settings but I can't find it. What would be the best way to bring in these .png files into Flash?

Or at least what API can i use? Is there one in one of the properties and methods of the DOM object from fl.getDocumentDOM?

I have a movie that I have been working on.There is a simple animation/intro and then a main frame with several buttons set up to jump ahead to other frames.There are 4 buttons and they all work just fine and go to the respective frame with no problems.
My problem is in trying to add a button to one of those frames. I can't get any button to work on any of those frames at all. I tried to add a "home" button that jumps back to the main frame, but that wouldn't work. So, I tried to copy the main frame and move it ahead on the time line but that didn't work either. I tried to add buttons for the other frames as well and no button would work (regardless of where it was referenced) on those other frames.Here is the error message I keep getting:

I have two flash movies.One has an embedded video.I sped up that movie to 36 fps to make it run quicker.It plays fine.I downloaded a FLA that is a flame effect.It has a 30 fps rate.When I incorporated the flame effect into the movie with the embedded video, it made that movie play at 12 fps.Must be something in the AS?So I decided to make two separate movies and include both on the page.But when I do that, the same thing happens.The 36 fps movie plays at 12 fps.

I'm working on adding sound effects to a short animation. The first few sounds are syncing perfectly, however when I test the movie in Flash Player, at about the middle part of the animation, the sounds no longer sync; they play ahead of where they are supposed to. Testing the movie right in Flash, though, the sounds are fine. Exporting to a SWF file as well as a MPEG-4 also plays the unsynched sounds where they are not supposed to be

Right now I have a flash movie that runs about 100 frames then stops and acts as buttons.
I don't want it to loop from the beginning, I just want it to loop the last 10 frames over continuisly.
