Professional :: Open Another Scene And Play A Label Inside A Mc?

I'm looking for a piece of AS2 script that will open a different scene and play a label from inside a mc.So it should be something like...On release go to scene x and play x label from inside x mc.I can get to the scene via the button "on release gotoandplay scene 2 . Once in the scene I can get a button to gotoandplay themc.mc and the label.But what I really want to do is get the button on one page to go to the scene and play the label on the second scene.
I have a Flash movie that uses three scenes. In scene one I have a button with some actionscript to take it to a frame label in that first scene and play the movie from that point on. It works fine. The problem is, in the third scene, I am trying the same action with a different button, going to a different frame label in that third scene. I am getting an error saying the frame label does not exist in that scene. Even though it does! I've checked for typos and everything looks fine. I've copied and pasted the simple actionscript from the third scene below. Is there a line I need to add to make this work in a scene that is not the first scene?

everything here is fine. It opens finely. But... i want to pass parameters where if i click a button in html page My.swf should open a particular scene called 'Scene 2' rather than scene 1. i tried
So this is where I'm stumped. I have 2 scenes, the first scene has "mc1" and the second scene has "mc2" and a button inside it. how do i get the button in mc2 to play mc1?

Some of these swf files are animations which have code that states :
MovieClip(parent).gotoAndStop("frameThree");
The first loader works but I cannot get that swf to move on to the next frame(frameThree) to load the next swf file
Instead I get this message
ArgumentError: Error #2109: Frame label frameThree not found in scene Scene 1. at flash.display::MovieClip/gotoAndStop() at New_Inro_fla::MainGuy_1/frame146()[New_Inro_fla.MainGuy_1::frame146:2 ]
I'm getting this error in the OUTPUT window, when I PREVIEW (COMMAND + RETURN) my SWF:
ArgumentError: Error #2109: Frame label nGallery_btn not found in scene Scene 1. at flash.display::MovieClip/gotoAndStop() at BrookBrovazMusic004_fla::MainTimeline/pageSelect()

i am using a movie clip button to open a swf with a loader. hope i m not missing any information/other coding....
I have created a new Flash file using A3.It has a menu system which all works, I have included trace code that outputs button pressed.So the next step is when the right button is clicked it takes them to the next scene. Please note I have coded it in AS3. When I compile it returns no error however at run time when I click on the buttomit returns the following error:

I work with 3d animation. Im have a problem with a personal website Im doing, I have a link in a button inside a flash movie to open a new window and play a youtube movie:

This works fine in Firefox but in IE it doesnt work, I then change the /v/ in the youtube link with /p.swf?video_id= and now I have the window open showing the small youtube thumbnail of my video but once a click play, nothing happens, I check it and is not loading anything.
I have a movie clip on a scene with a button inside. How can I make this button to go to play frames on the scene but not inside the movie clip in AS3.0?

I have a flash file with about 20 different scenes in it. And in one of the scenes there is an audio file that is 15 seconds long. The sound is on a menu page so i only want it in that scene. But if you are on that page for less than 15 seconds and go to another page then it carries on the sound into the next scene and if you go to and from the menu page to another scenes in quick succession you get a build up of sound which is horrible.
I have an eventListener on a particular movieClip that triggers the timeline to play when clicked. This should play through a short tween, then hit another piece of actionscript in the last frame of that scene, which should take you to the next scene. I also have an audio file loaded into a soundChannel, as well as a few timers that operate a click prompt over the movieClip already mentioned. My bug is that if you click on said movieClip before the soundChannel is finished playing, all functions properly. However, if you wait for the sound to finish, this initiates a few timers that cause a prompt to fade in, telling you to click on the movieClip. If you click on it, still, everything works fine. But once the timers complete their work, and the click prompt fades back out, the tweens do not operate properly. If you then click on the movieClip, the timeline seems to play doubletime until coming to a stop() action in the next scene.
jumping from from scene to scene once the play head reaches the end in AS3? Scenes do not play one after another like they used to. I need the video (scene 1) after play & stop will automaticlly go to scene 2. The scene 2 is a rotate images and will stay all the time to rotate in scene 2.

I'm having trouble getting any sound to play in my second scene. I'm using actionscript in the first scene to fade in the music, then fade it out after they click the button.

Problem: I tried adding a sound to the stage in scene 2 but nothing plays when i test the movie, expect for the music in scene 1. I tried creating another sound object in the first frame of scene 2 but i get the same result.

I know that you are not supposed to target a frame number but here's the deal.I have 2 scenes (Scene 1 and Scene 2). Both scenes are currently the same and I will be customizing them at a later date.The scenes are made up of multiple MC's and I need to target a particular frame. i have encoded(converted) some video files through Adobe Media Encoder to f4v. and i play them inside flash, through a flvlplayback component.I've placed the videos inside the same folder as my swf file.is there anyway i can protect the videos to be shown only inside my swf file?via the cue points and actionscript or something??something like a code to be placed at the begining of the clip, and be checked inside my swf file (while loading the video, into the playback component). if the condition was confirmed, the video plays.so that the video files don't play with other players outside my swf file..
i have a button instance, within a movie clip within a scene. i can not get the gotoAndStop on a frame label within the scene to work. I CAN however get the gotoAndPlay code to work (which defeats the purpose).

I'm incorporating Flash for the first in my site [URL] it should a simple navigation but it has had me stuck for a while. I would like users to click any button on the stage (listed or thumbnails) and open a MC, then close the MC, using a close button , then return to Scene One, which is frame labeled "home".
I am able to successfully open and close the Movieclip but I am not directed back Scene One. When the MC closes, the thumbnail buttons are inactive.
