In Nexus one smart phone(android 2.2), the flash file in the web site is played by browser, But local flash file is not played. How to play the local flash file? Does not support local swf playing yet?

Found a freedowload link, but when I go there on my phone, the site won't give me the option to download. The spot where it's supposed to be says, "wait for download link." Tried it several times.

I trying to play a flv file in a flex mobile (flex 4.6) The files will all be locally stored and on the device. Would it be better to use the video even if it is not supported or can i use a movieClip? I am going to try and fade out a picture and then play the video with out any user controls and then fade back to the picture. The this will all be on a tablet. I am using Flash Builder 4.6.

All the tutorials I have read tell me how to link to a file on the internet I'm trying to set up an intranet site for my training college where students can access training resources etc on the local network. Therefore my getURL needs to point to a local file, not one on the internet. I'm trying to link to a .htm file that resides on my computer. Does the htm file have to be in the same folder as the .fla file?? How do I do this?? I'm working on a Mac, Os X, MX 2004, if that makes any difference.

It plays fine in dreamweaver and when you preview it in Firefox or Safari, But when I upload my HTML files and SWF files it does not play and displays the following message "content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player". Using Flash CS4 and having the Flash plug-in ver 10 on my PC, the generated html file will not play the swf in the browser.I noticed that the active-x javascript is now included in the header as well as the javascript portion in the body tag.But it won't play. I get the typical blank window in IE with the "X" in the upper left corner.I don't have this problem with Flash CS3.

The preloader loads the app then loads some json data it passes the data to the application and then puts the application on stage. Everything works fine in FDT 4 but once I put it on a server it gives me this error - SecurityError: Error #2028: Local-with-filesystem SWF file. Does anyone know why its happening and what setting I need to change to stop it? I have set the load arrguments -use-network=true and false to no availe. The json data is coming from an external web address when I change and put it locally with the application I get SecurityError 2148.
View 1 RepliesI created a flash file that contains a flv file inside. After I published it on my Mac in both html and swf format and it played well. But when I copied all this folder include the swf, html and the source flv to test on a pc it played well but the video part (flv) was blank. So I copied the .fla file to pc and published again, then it works fine (including the flv video part) on both pc and Mac. All the settings were same while publishing.So I wonder what's wrong with publish from Mac side? I work with Mac and so it's very inconvenient to publish my work on PC.

View 3 RepliesI made a 'movie' in Premiere and exported as FLV., Its suppose to be a banner on the top of a web page. The site was made with Dreamweaver. When played locally, the banner does great. When I put it on the server, thats a different story. I can tell thats something is there because it loads the background color of the flash file but it doesn't play the FLV.

I'm looking to create a solution that will enable me to have a folder of AVI files on a USB drive, packaged along with a custom designed player (probably built in Flash). I would like to creare the packaged flash file in a way that will autorun on inserting the drive if at all possible. The solution will need to be platform agnostic (hence my thinking that Flash would be the best bet). Has anyone come across a tutorial for achieving anything even similar to the above?
