View 1 RepliesI have three flv videos (video1.flv, video2.flv and video3.flv) and I want to play them one after the other (no controls, no skins). When video3.flv is finished I need the movie to restart playing video1.flv again and the rest after it, an endless loop.
How can I do that??
I've tried including the videos one after the other in the time line and in the last frame a gotoAndPlay(1); This works, but the final .swf weights almost 10mb. The project is web based so this is way too heavy.
Now I'm trying the flvPlayback component, but I'm getting quite lost here. I'm importing the three flv to the library. The video implementing wizard shows for each flv but finally I have only one FLVPlayback element in the library. Then I drag an instance on the stage but I don't know how to continue .. Am I doing it correctly? If so how can I continue? Will this method give me a lighter final .swf?
i have succesfully managed to encode / create an .FLV file which now plays back in my .swf file. The picture and sound are great when streaming off the web!
how do i command the file to play back in a continous loop? at present it plays and then rewinds back to the begining.
i have investigated some of the .FLV parameters but can't seem to find the control / command i'm looking for.
I have made a game, and now I'm putting in a highscore-function. Like the one below, who reads the highscore-list. Everything is working fine when testing from flash, but when I start the swf-file from the folder (or test it on the iPhone), it just loops throught every frame, why is this? If I cut out the code below, it works fine on both stand-alone sfw-file and on the iPhone. I've tried to only use the first line below, to test, and it loops.

I've always struggled with this for some reason, but say I have 5 images loading from XML. How would I make it so they would cross fade each other on an endless loop? I can make it so it gets to the end by loading them on top of each other and then fading each one out, but once I get to the end I'm lost.

It plays fine in dreamweaver and when you preview it in Firefox or Safari, But when I upload my HTML files and SWF files it does not play and displays the following message "content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player". Using Flash CS4 and having the Flash plug-in ver 10 on my PC, the generated html file will not play the swf in the browser.I noticed that the active-x javascript is now included in the header as well as the javascript portion in the body tag.But it won't play. I get the typical blank window in IE with the "X" in the upper left corner.I don't have this problem with Flash CS3.
View 10 RepliesI created a flash file that contains a flv file inside. After I published it on my Mac in both html and swf format and it played well. But when I copied all this folder include the swf, html and the source flv to test on a pc it played well but the video part (flv) was blank. So I copied the .fla file to pc and published again, then it works fine (including the flv video part) on both pc and Mac. All the settings were same while publishing.So I wonder what's wrong with publish from Mac side? I work with Mac and so it's very inconvenient to publish my work on PC.
View 5 RepliesI am working is CS3 and am experiencing problems changing the first frame on a graphic symbol. When I type in a new number it jumps back to the old one. When I try to change play once/loop/single frame setting it jumps back to the previous setting. I am trying to simply modify this on a keyframe in the symbol's layer on the main stage. I've experienced this on multiple occasions, but can't get the workaround this time. I know I can do what I am attempting. In fact, I do it at a couple of spots earlier in this symbol's instance without problems.

View 2 RepliesI made a 'movie' in Premiere and exported as FLV., Its suppose to be a banner on the top of a web page. The site was made with Dreamweaver. When played locally, the banner does great. When I put it on the server, thats a different story. I can tell thats something is there because it loads the background color of the flash file but it doesn't play the FLV.

View 5 RepliesI have two buttons and an swf file (a movie I created in After Effects). I want to do the following:
-When the page loads I would like the swf file (the TV) the stay frozen on frame 1 (the picture of the child's face).
-When the mouse is rolled-over the "Home" button, I want the swf file (the TV) to play frames 2-59, and loop on these frames until the mouse is rolled-off the "Home" button.
-When the mouse rolls off of the "Home" button I want the swf file (the TV) to instantly go back to frame 1 and stay on frame 1 until the mouse rollsover another button.
If the mouse rolls over the "Products" button, I want the TV to loop frames 60-109, and again instantly go back to frame 1 when the mouse is rolled-off the "Products" button. I will use these buttons as a template, copy and paste them, so that I can easily make different segments of the TV play when different buttons are rolled-over. Please take a look at the fla file [URL]. The fla file is a little large (about 23 megs).

View 7 RepliesI play games on Pogo and have never had a problem with their Flash Games until released Daily Hot Shots. It doesn't load fully and I've done EVERYTHING I know to do to get it to play. No errors show up. I can play ALL the other flash games but this one. When I right click, the name of the site's owners do not show up....I have the settings showing though Not all of the game loads and that's the problem. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling....tried a different browser and have the same exact problem. THIS GAME WILL NOT PLAY.

I inserted the swf in 'insert media' - 'shockwave' and the thing works when I press play to view it within dreamweaver. However, when I try to view it on a browser, either locally or remotely, it doesn't work.
I am trying to import a video in to flash. I have converted it to a flv and used the stream from flash media server option and selected a standard play and stop bar. I have imported it in and it works find when you just select the individual swf that it loads into. The problem im having is that when I go to it through the home page, all the page loads apart from the video. I've tried moving it around, moving where all the assets to the video are etc. I know the file structure is important to this working. I have a main folder called interactive / and in that have a FLA and a SWF folder and the swf and fla home page. Currently I have the the video swf in the swf folder with the flv and the play and stop swf.
