It's a virtual hairstyling project but I have no idea how to get the first part to work.This is how the first part of the project goes:First, it will ask the user to take 3 pictures of themselves using the webcam (probably some buttons that says "take picture"). These 3 pictures should be saved temporarily in the flash.After all pictures are taken, it will ask user to choose one that they like the best and will proceed with the next step. And if they don't like any of it, they can take the pictures again.

I'm beginning this project trying to save to a jpg or png the content of a movie clip, but I didn't find any information on Google. Can you give suggestions of how to begin? And if you know some opensource projects like this one, please share it here.
(*) very simple means, resize, crop, add text and overlap other images.

Jan 19, 2012I am making an application where the user needs to register himself. During the registration he needs to take a picture with the phones camera. All of this workds great. But if he completes the registration, the image taken by the users needs to be saved in the database(BLOB field). I searched a long time and the id behind it was to get the bitmapdata, get a bytestream and then encode with b64 to send it to the php service. So here is what I've done now:

Oct 27, 2009My application is almost set, load the image, made the crop, save It to a server with a php and all good until here. Now I want to drag the image, make a scale of it and for that I used an Matrix (also done).

In this way a cron job can tricker the script and thereby grab a picture fx every 10'th minute and the picture can be shown on a website so people that are not attending can have a look into what is happening in the live stream.

Nov 27, 2008I am trying to upload image to the server so that i could load it into my flash app than. I'm sending the image via FileReference and listening to uploadCompleteData event. The problem is that the server side script does not returns the link to the image but it returns the image itself. In other words the PHP script doesn't save the file but send it back instead as a response.
So, after the file has been downloaded back to flash, the uploadCompleteData event is fired and the data property of this event is populated. But the data property is a String! And i need to get the byte array instead!
My question is: how should i convert the data to byte array? Or maybe the string i receiving is not the encoded image?

Jun 17, 2010i made a pic gallery that loads pics from xml file.. when I open the gallerys .swf itself on my server it works fine.. when I open the website .swf file on my server it looks fine... but, when I open the flash-generated .html file and try to open my gallery on my web site it sometimes shows me only a couple of pictures... sometimes none. also, when I open it up on my computer, it works fine...
btw: the gallery is stand-alone and I load it in my flash web site through the code ->

It's spotted that when we are using Flash Player Version = WIN 10.0.42.34/10,0,45,2, it is encountered that the video picture is hang but audio keeps playing after our commercial break point. we will first pause the video content and then use the same object to play the instream ad. After that, the video is resume when instream ad complete.
