Professional :: Turn Scribbles To Images On Mouse Click

I am using Flash CS4 and AS3 and I found this tutorial to build an image uploader with the option for the user to use scribbles to add to the image they upload. Here is the working example I have [URL] is there a way to make the scribbles turn to bring up images like diffrent hair styles the users can apply to their pictures and save or should I try another way of doing this. I have found any tutorials that have been what I want to do with this.

I'm trying to do an animation in which 4 images will fade from one to the other. The problem is that they need to fade on a button command as opposed to a timed base. Meaning... there will be four buttons on top of the images, pretty much like onbut instead of the images going away and then having the new one come in, they have to fade from one to the other. Since the user can go from one to the next randomly, the image that's displaying has to fade out and the image whose number the user clicked has to fade in on top.

I have is Adobe fl CS4. I succussfully created a scene with all correct layers including a start button action script. No errors works great. Now my next challenge is, how do I cause a word to apear? I created some objects that I want to select and cause a word to appear and color to change, once I hover over the object. It is like the same method when you create a 'start button.' Do I create another sub scene in the action script command?

I am currently working on Flash 8 tool. I wanted to know how to create a text effect on mouse click in Flash 8. I have tried simple text effects like fade in and out and zoom out effects, however these effects are not mouse enabled. How to create text effects in flash 8 on a mouse click i.e. text should appear when the mouse is clicked. I am also attaching the SWF file that I generated from a flash document.

I'm sure this is pretty easy but I'm at a loss with this one. I have a DateChooser that I'm using to highlight dates when things are being released. And that's all I want it for. I want to turn off the ability for users to click on anything. I don't see how to have selectable false.

I have currently created a slideshow interface that makes my car looks like it's turning 360. I'm loading each external image as I press on the forward/back button. Right now, I have each external image load onto a movieClip Container.My problem is that every time I click on the button, the previous image unloads, showing a empty white space, before the next one loads.
Is there a way to try to load all the images at one so the transisitions look smooth and not have a whiteout effect between transitions? I want each image to load while the button is pressed down. Currently, I have to repeatedly click on the button to get to the next image.

I created a movie clip layer with five cars in it. Each car is a separate button that when clicked plays a sound and shows an animation. If the car is clicked again, the sound and animation disappear. If another car (car B) is clicked while the first car (car A) is playing the sound/showing the animation, car A's sound and animation disappear, but it takes a second click for car B's sound/animation to play/appear.
How can I write the code so when you click on car B while car A is playing, car A's sound stops and animation disappears and car B's sound and animation play and appear right away?

I'm working on my personal portfolio site and desperately need help with some AS3. my knowledge about AS3 is very rudimentary. Hope anyone who's I want to change the pointer cursor to custom movieclip when mouseover different invisible buttons. These buttons are mainly forward & backward button for my gallery. I got some help from other site but still unsolved. Please take a look at my fla attachment to point out what's wrong with the coding. I'm now convinced there is some sort of mechanism built into Firefox that seems to turn off the mouse event handlers in flash applications on the html page when the user scrolls the page or does any other sort of mouse interaction with the web page itself. This issue does not arise in IE (go figure that one) or chrome, but does seem to arise in Safari as well. I'm sure theres probably something I need to do to the html to make sure the flash mouse events are always active and superseding whatever mouse events are built into the browser. At first I thought it might be because the one nav bar i did was rather complicated with lots of layers and AS on multiple frames, but when I did a much more simple navbar with only 1 frame of AS, i still run into the same issue.

I am trying to create an animation that will show the basics of steering a sailboat. The idea is that there will be a top view of the boat with the tiller and rudder very pronounced. I want the learner to be able to click and drag the tiller one direction or the other, while the tiller is dragging I want the rudder and the boat to rotate the proper direction. Example, I want the boat to go left I will push the tiller to starboard and the rudder will rotate clockwise and the boat will turn left. There doesn't need to be forward motion by the boat in my head, I think that as long as the boat rotates it would be fine.

I want to create a set of buttons based on loaded images from xml that onClick turn red or grow in size, whatever, Clicking another turns that button red and the old one back to default. Alsoo it will attach a animated movieclip onclick to the button and when pressing another button, it swifts to that button.

Explaination: MX 04' Pro Thumbnail Nav. loading images with XML Loader resizes and displays images when users click on Nav. reading XML Problem: Users click Thumbnail Nav. first image gets loaded and loader resizes to image. However the next choice by user on thumbnail click, the second image doesnt get resized in the loader. It goes beyond holder. Here is my code for Thumbnail and Loader:

Now the first image loads fine and the loader sizes to file from XML. However, when users click second choice from Thumbail the loader doesnt resize to new image size. It only gets resized on the first selction or if users click the next or prev. buttons then the images fade correctly but nothing fades back in. Now if they do hit next or prev and then hit a thumbnail option it loads and resizes.

using the "on mouse click" snippet in cs5 gives the following code as example code for something which can happen on click trace("Mouse clicked");
The notes say that this adds "mouse clicked" to the output pannel
indeed while previewing the file in flash mode clicking on the object adds this line to the output pannel each time.but while previewing in other modes such as html it does not
so what exactly is the output pannel does it store data which can later be called upon or does it have no use?
