Actionscript 3 :: DataGrid With ArrayCollection As DataProvider?

I have a Datagrid with an ArrayCollection as DataProvider, the arrayCollection is partially generated by a remoteObject call, the dataprovider seems to works at least until I try to edit the field...By the RemoteObject I only receive an ArrayCollection with the field ip, but the datagrid looks for the fields ip, check and save...If I add/edit this new field it works, but only under particular condition
The DataGrid:

dataProvider="{listaIPCheck}" bottom="10" requestedRowCount="4">
<s:columns>[code].....
This code always work in the 3 points, so at the end of the call the ArrayCollection is always filled with the new values, but the datagrid refresh the items only in point #1 and #2.

I have two datagrids:
- Division
- Members
Both have single columns. Selecting one item from Divsions datagrid should display members of that Division in the Members datagrid. But following code has some problem and Members of a particular division do not show up when respective Divsion is clicked.

Here am getting array of groups(groupName,GroupID each row ) from a RemoteObject and displaying in a ComboBox. I am selecting the groups with selectedIndex as 0,1,2,3, but I want my groupIDs of correspoding groupnames,which am bringing to client side.
How can I get actual the groupId of the selected group?

I also have a list (LIST#2) that has the values #,A-Z - how would I create an alphabet jump? So If a user clicked on "A" in LIST#2 that would automatically scroll to "Adele" at the top of LIST#1 - not filter so he/she could scroll up to view 2Pac or down to view The Tews if they were not in the view yet. Its a standard Flex Spark List with an ArrayCollection as the dataProvider - the artist field is called: "title" along with a unique id field that is not visible to the user.

In a DataGrid, how can I force data() of all itemRenderers on visible rows to be called when I've made an update to the dataProvider.I'n the following the Grid isn't updated after pressing doSomething. If I have a large list the update is done when scrolling down and then back up again, or in the case of the TreeGrid i open/close a node.

I have a main datagrid, and want to launch a window with another datagrid in it, bringing in a different dataprovider. However, when I do this it acts funnny, brings in some default datagrid information and then gives me an error when I try to set the dataprovider:"multiple initializers for property dataprovider. My Flex datagrid automatically scrolls to the top when I update the dataProvider (ArrayCollection). I do not want this to happen, but I still want all of the objects to update. I am developing a semi-real time dashboard for a customer's management system, that will update often. If it scrolls to the top every time it updates, it will be very difficult and frustrating to use.I've attempted to use the following techniques to prevent this, none have worked.
dataProvider = updatedDataProvider;
dataProvider.updateItem(dataProvider);
dataProvider.source = updatedDataProvider.source;
dataProvider.updateItem(dataProvider);
I've attempted to dispatch a mouse event to hold the vertical scrollbar in place, I've attempted to lock the vertical scrollbar position value in place (saving and reassigning)..

I need to display DropDownLists in a column of a DataGrid in my Flex application. Here is what I am doing:
First, I have a item renderer function that creates a custom item renderer, and passes it a property that is an IList that will be used as the dataProvider of the dropDownList:

I have a flex datagrid. it is bound to an array collection. if the user sorts on column X it works fine. then, if the user causes the array collection to change, the datagrid forgets that it was sorted on column X.what do I need to do to preserve this sort preference so that the new array data will appear sorted by column X?

I am working with google map api ... http:[url]..What i want to do is to take up all the steps of direction, and place them in a datagrid.but the problem that the google map api provide description on in HTML format. and then i put this steps data in my flex datagrid, it shows up all the html tags in it too, including with the data.Can there be some way i can do this, without the html tags.My code for the google maps look like this :

I am trying to bind an ArrayCollection result coming in from the server to my DataGrid
created dynamically in AS. The result data is not getting Displayed in the Grid.

I am adding the dgColumn as runtime based on some data from a XML and it is the same as defined in below static format. But if I use the same code and create the DataGrid as a Flex Component as below, it works fine.

I use this arrayCollection to populate a Flex 3 Datagrid. I'd also like to use this arrayCollection to populate a comboBox with the Name node.
In the arrayCollection, I've got the Name listed twice. I've got two rows in the Datagrid.
If I set the ComboBox's labelfield to Name, then the Name will be listed twice in the ComboBox menu. Is there a way to use this arrayCollection and have each Name listed only once in the comboBox?
I can always make another loop and array collection for the Name, but I was wondering if there were a better way.

I've got a Flex 3 application with an HTTPService returning an Atom feed. I catch the result from it and store it in an arrayCollection which is then the provider of my Datagrid. I have no problem accessing the data from the "first-level" of my Array, but cannot go under it. Not very clear, so here is some code:
