in my application i use a flash clip where i have 2 textboxes, a remember me checkbox and a button to login.the problem is that if someone presses the tab button it doesn't focus in the right component. for example, if i write my username and then press tab, it goes to the checkbox instead of focusing in the second textbox. how can i change that order?

I have another problem that I might as well ask too. I would like to have users check the box, and not be able to see what is in the dynamic text box until they click a button called "submit".
I'm currently working on my first real software app. in flash. I'm currently still struggling with the checkboxes a bit. The problem is the math does not add up correctly I really don't know where I'm going wrong. Attached is the .fla. yes when you click on the different checkboxes it's supposed to add the total of each checkbox to the dynamic textbox.

However, it keeps displaying 'No' in the email message field, whether the checkbox is selected or not. I am using datagrid and added 3 columns to it in flex project. Data is provided to each column by using itemrenderer. Itemrenderer is checkbox for each column. Name of columns are col1,col2,col3. I want to make the checkbox in col1 selected when i selects the checkbox in col2. But i am not able to do this.

I've seen some of the senior members spend extra time trying to determine which Flash product was being used and which action script. Some of us are limited to F7, F8 etc. It would be nice to be able to search for entries that apply to what we're looking for. I see two possible solutions, maybe you have others.
1. Create a new entry item for the new forum that includes Flash type and Actionscript being used. 2. Each of us can identify what products and actionscript we are using or asking about in the Topic Summary.

I have an application where I am trying to get all user input directed to one paticular text field. So if the user clicks on another text field, the focus would prgramatically switch back to the first. I am not having much luck so far.

I'm even giving focus to the sprite that is supposed to move and telling flash not to use the yellow box. However, the box shows up around the sprite until I click anywhere on the stage.

i have 2 set of textbox, 1 set of the text box contain 6 textbox and the other set of text box contain 12 textbox. how do i make it like for the first set of textbox to compare with the second set of textbox? eg. 1textbox1.text = 2textbox1.text and the first set of textbox right, each of the 6 textbox have to compare with second set of textbox which is 12 textbox.

when I click a checkbox in form 2, if i navigate to form 3 using a button then navigate back to form 2 using a button, the checkbox is no longer checked. I tried using a variable to store whether the checkbox is checked or not but I'm having troubles.

I've had a good rummage around the interweb and can't seem to find any examples of a tri-state checkbox. It doesn't look to be supported in the SDK and I can't find any examples online.
