My company emails our Flash EXE files out to customers. Most of these Flash files use keyboard events to navigate through them, and they load external SWF and video files. So, obviously, I have to package all of my movie files, SWF, and the main EXE into the same folder. In the past, they have simply Zipped the file, emailed it out, and told them which file to open. Sadly, even this is too complicated for some people. I need to simplify the process.
I am trying to find a way to take the entire folder and bundle it into a single EXE file. Also, I need to find a permanent solution for opening the main Flash EXE file in a MAXIMIZED window. I don't mean fullscreen. I mean MAXIMIZED. In fullscreen, keyboard events don't work. But, they do in a Maximized window.
I m making a T-shirt design application in Flash.I made all the drag and drop stuff and now i need to knw is how can i export the design my customers made?Like in ma application users can drag n drop designs on their T-shrit,change its colour and all when when he press a button say "Print"...the swf shud generate a jpg of that design(that the user made) and send it to a php file(that estimates its rate and all) and saves another copy in my domain(like [URL]).
On a website I am constructing (search for World Tutors .net on Google and then click Test page next to Webmail at the bottom) I have a contact form with various parts for the user to fill in (some text input boxes, and some COMBO boxes). Having looked on various forums, I thought I undstood how to make the Flash Actionscript 2.0 talk to the php script to send the email (i.e. pass on variables etc.) When the user completes the Client enqiry form and clicks the send button, it looks as though the message has been sent, but no email ever arrives. I've pasted the code I have below.
What I am trying to do.I have an email icon that when there is new messages would like to indicate the number of emails that are unread. this will simply be a number, that indicates how many unread messages
We pass in the number of unread messages to the flash object like a URL request string.

However, I need to protect them in several ways... customers should not be able to download and play them anywhere off my site, or on their hard drives, and they should not be able to decompile them and grab the contents (jpegs).I realize that a first rate hacker can probably hack through anything, but they don't worry me. Second-rate hackers worry me more, as there are many more of them, and they tend to go after smaller stuff like this

We're running a permission-based audio stream to be amplified through in-store sound systems, but are unsure about basic hardware requirements. What basic features must all hardware have to log into our server via username/password and receive audio signal?

I'm in the process of making a web page that'll successfully checked as XHTML 1.0 Transitional ([URL]), but as soon as I place in the fixit.js script under the flash object and view the page in IE, all the flash elements turn white. Quote:

Anyone knows how to place in flash files in xhtml files on IE without manually controls by clicking on the flash file.
I installed Flash CS4 Professional trial version for school use. It wouldn't install successfully. I deleted the font files the troubleshooting guide said to, tried again, but gave up. (I'm afraid to run regedit and mess up everything else I have loaded.) (I previously had the Fireworks CS4 trial version loaded, then uninstalled it.) My problem is this- I have it running, but it saves files and then they can't be opened, even if I use the save function often- it's worse when I create the file, test the movie and then save.If I try to open it again, it says "cannot open file." Once it opened a copy I had saved, and it appeared blank, even though it was 544 kb file size. I only need it for a few more days, one more assignment and I'm afraid my previous files are corrupt. I have Windows Vista Home Edition.

I am constructing a Flash animation and I was hoping to build it by scenes. These scenes would be individual SWF movies that I could import into my final Flash file in consequential order and when finished I would have a completed Flash Movie. There would be no interaction beyond Play/and replay. Where can I get information on how to construct this and is this a recomended way to do it?
As titled, what is the way to record video/audio files using Flash Meida Server through rmtp, and allow users to access the recorded files through http? What I am trying to do, is to record a user's microphone's input and save it to the server.fterwards, I would like other users to be able to access the recorded files and mainuplating the audio data, by computeSpectrum(), to do some visualization of the audio. As I know computeSpectrum() cannot work on streaming files, so I think I need to access the recorded files using http instead of rmtp. Is that true?
I have some files in my src directory, some are .class files (Java class files) and some are .properties files, when I create the Adobe air native installer these files are not included. Why is that? How can I work around that?
Also it excludes .mxml files, but that's good. I'm sure that's related, how to change what it includes or excludes?
I have created a flash file that allows you to click on a thumbnail image and larger image appears ontop of a tshirt. The same way as a gallery would work. The images and thumbnails are pulled in through xml. However I have a problem, I need the images that appear on the tshirts to be .png files or gif files as the tshirt colour can be changed. At the moment my flash file will only display jpegs! I dont knwo why. The jpegs leave me with a white background, so I need the transparency of a png/gif. My actionscript is:
My users upload a certain kind of text file that sometimeshas references to images stored locally on their hard drive. I needto check this file either on the server or within a flash app tosee if it has these references and then grab those images in aflash app to upload to my server. So I can use FileReference easily enough to have users uploadlocal images. But FileReference requires users to select their files with a dialog box. I can't have that. Myusers wouldn't know where to look and there are typically way toomany files, sometimes with the same name but in differentdirectories.
I can also just use URLLoader with a local URL, I guess I canprobably just use Loader too? That works great. The problem here isI can't communicate with both the server and the local filesystemin the same flash application due to Flash's security sandboxrestrictions. So I can get out of those security restrictions byplacing or editing a trust file in designated locations on variousOSes. I then need to install this trust file which is more invasiveand confusing to users then I want to be...Java's method of accessing local files from a web applet bysimply signing the applet with a certificate and having a dialogbox popup where the users grants access is ideal. Is there anything
