I want to know where this path available in android device or else is there some other path i have to specify.

For that requirement, I have compiled my css files into swf format and I loaded for my application using "StyleManager.loadStyleDeclarations("style.swf");". I get my styles for application when I run it on my desktop, but after building my files into apk format, I couldn't get the styles applied for my application in device. When I debug my application from my android device, I got the following error message.

I realise that Android is spread across a lot of different Hardware but are there any standardised resolutions? If not how would you go about resizing the Stage depending on the screen?

In AS2, there is the Classes/ directory within the Configuration folder. Very easy, nice. In AS3, that folder is not consulted, and I understand the Flash IDE does some kind of internal mapping.
I have created a SWC and added it to my Library path. However, I would like to package the SWC in a (code-only) component and put it in a folder that Flash is, by default, looking at to consult swc's. Alternatively, if there were an "include" directory, I could put the as files. However, when I try to put the SWC in the Configuration folder's Libraries, or ActionScript 3.0/libs (the "libs" I had to create), or I put the as files in the Include folder, my Flash code cannot access the stuff being imported.
I would like to use a command to direct a swf to a default path is the file in my xml line does not exist. Here's the ecisting line with file path:

Actually I am the application is for recoeding live stream. The recorded videos are placing in the folder named live_test as specififed above.But I want to change this path. There is a folder named public in the root directory. In the "public" folder we have a folder named Recorded_Videos, I need to place the recorded videos on this folder. How can I do this.Another issue that occurs while recording is NetStream.Record.noAccess. This is occuring while the recorded video is placing on client's flash media server with the path that i specified above. But when i running it in the local flash media server(developer version), its working well. The recorded files are placed on live_test folder. In the client's server the stream is not recording, instead its showing an error like "NetStream.Record.noAccess". The code that I am using for recording live stream is follows:

I am coming from flash to flashbuilder I have a directory, AS3_classes_dir, on my computer that stores all of my classes, including my greensock and papervision packages. In every flash app that I make I include that directory in the Source Path, so that I can import whatever I may need. Compiling in flash (using ctrl/enter) takes very little time; only the classes that are specifically imported are compiled.So today I did that in flashbuilder, included AS3_classes_dir via Flex Build Path/Source Path ... but now the compile time are a couple of minutes, even though I am not even importing ANY of the classes from within.

File.applicationDirectory.url returns "app:"
File.applicationStorageDirectory.url returns "app-storage:"
File.applicationDirectory.nativePath returns an empty string, as specified in Adobe's documentation.The problem is that the webview gives a "Web page not available, app:/test/index.html not found" error. Is there a way to get the full path, or to "force" the browser to understand that app: refers to a specific folder?

View 1 RepliesI've recompiled my app with Flex 4.6 / AIR 3.1 and now when I upload to the Android market it says my app is using a "android.permission.BROADCAST_STICKY" permission. In it's simplest terms what is it and can or should I turn it off (it's not in the app descriptor file)?
BTW I used captive runtime for the first time in this upload. Would that have anything to do with it?

View 1 RepliesOpened CS5.5 > Chose "Air For Android" which gave me a stage dimension of 480x800 default. I then created my app.
I am using a Droid Bionic and testing my app on it. It will not go to full screen, regardless of how I am holding the Droid. When publishing, I clicked "Full Screen" and Portrait, Landscape, Auto Orientation, etc. I tried all of the publishing options, yet still there is white screen on the eastern and southern side of the screen.
I have a picture on the main screen, and it fits perfectly within the 480x800 dimmensions when playing in Flash. After publishing to an APK file and testing it on Droid, I have that white space as mentioned, as if the stage size grew larger than the picture / app. I also shrank the stage(480x800) dimensions to to (340x600) , but still the same amount of white space. When I move the picture to the right a bit, and publish, it shows the white space on the left hand side of the stage. This can only mean that when I publish, the stage size grows but everything on the stage stays the same.
Using AIR for Android, is it possible to call from Flex into an NDK library? If so, how can this be done? I have a large C library that I need to use. I know that I can do this from an Android Java app (through JNI), but I have a large Flex codebase that I'd like to reuse.

I have a problem - How to run AIR (really big desktop application) on my Galaxy Tab 10.1? It's possible convert .air to .apk?
EDIT:
1. I set up a new desktop project (File -> New -> Flex Project)
2. Project name is "simpleTest", Application type is Desktop (runs in Adobe AIR), Flex SDK version 4.6.0 and click to Finish
3. I go to Design mode, then set the width to 500 and height to 250. I add one button by drawing and name it btnOne and make Generate Event Handler
4.Then I go to Project -> Export Release Build (Export as Signed AIR package) -> Next (I apply the certificate) -> Finish
5. I find the project file (...Adobe Flash Builder 4.6simpleTest) and copy simpleTest.air into a new file (simpleTestAPK - which contains my certificate > andCert.p12)
6. I rename "simpleTest.air" to "simpleTest.zip" and from this .zip I unpack just "simpleTest.swf" and "application.xml"
7. I create a "create.txt" containing as follows:
adt -package -target apk-debug -storetype pkcs12 -keystore andCert.p12
myHope.apk application.xml simpleTest.swf
8. I rename "create.txt" to "create.cmd" and launch it (Shift + RMB -> Open cmd here)
9. "myHope.apk" is created
10. I copy this to Galaxy Tab 10.1 (with drag&drop)
11. I launch "myHope.apk" but all I see is blank, white screen, no colors, no buttons, nothing.
I'm creating an app to deploy for iOS and Android and I'd like to give them slightly different filenames (need to add a space so that name displays on two lines on Android). Is there a way for me to define this in the app.xml without having to change it each time I export?

View 4 RepliesWe had FMS2 installed before and the paths to all our videos are like rtmp://ServerName/sites/.... (the default path on FMS2) Now we upgrade to FMS4 and we would like to keep these paths the same because we have many HTMLs that reference these videos. However, the default path on FMS4 is rtmp://ServerName/vod/... Is there a way to change "vod" to "sites"?
I tried to change VOD_COMMON_DIR in fms.ini from /install_dir/webroot/vod to /install_dir/webroot/sites, and also changed the document root in httpd.conf, but rtmp://ServerName/sites/ is still not working.
So I've created a script where a mc is clicked on and the player can draw a path using the mouse. I'm trying to figure out how I can get the mc to follow the path drawn out by the player's mouse and when the player clicks again, it erases all of the path.my code is below
