Flex :: Link Against SWC When Source Is In Project?

I would like to compile my view classes into an SWC from flash, and compile the rest of the application using mxmlc (avoiding recompiling through the IDE). However, because the view classes (source) are in the project class path, mxmlc gives them precedence over the compiled SWC.
Now I'm thinking that maybe the view classes have to be separated into a separate project, but I am hesitant to do so because I don't think these classes truly constitute an independent project, and separating them out would not serve any purpose beyond working around the linking precedence problem. Furthermore, if i were to change my mind about the linkage, i would have to restructure both projects, and any common dependancies between the two projects could be messy to maintain.
How can I get mxmlc to give precedence to the SWC over the Actionscript? Or, if this is not possible, is it more common to create a separate project for the Flash-compiled library, or to isolate the Flash source in the project so that it is not included in the project class path?
Please is there any open source solution that can help me to secure the source code of a project that is developed by too many developers from being copied of stolen by the team member?My Boss asked me to find a solution that put all the project in the server and allow all the developers to develop on the server from their computers, is this possible?

I tried to use the import project option by pointing to the flexlib directory but it did not work - I think thats because the source by default does not have any .project or properties files.

I get Strings from a server that look something like this: This is normal text followed by a link: [URL] Links might also look like this: [URL]
This Strings are set as the text value in a spark TextArea. What I'd like to achieve is that A. the text gets highlighted and B. the user can click it and it opens in the systems browser.
Using the StyleableTextField throws a typerror on Flex 4.6. I tried the simplest HTML text like this: StyleableTextField(newsStoryArea.textDisplay).htmlText = "TextArea <b>bold</b><i>italic</i>." i have a Air Project in which i have added three extenal source folders. but when i reopen project or strat flash builder again i get icon on those folder like this but when i open the configuration for that project and try to validate the path and adding it again i get message like this but the path is valid. proof is this pic what could be possible error,,, is there any way that i when ever re-open project i get no warning and able to navigate through the linked source code. now i am doing it

I could just have the main app.as file inside the src folder along with my app.mxml file but it would be nice if it could live in the actionscript library.

How do you define a relative link to the source of a linked library in Flash Builder (4). I have a swc folder defined for a project. I want to link one of the contained swcs to it's associated source. This works fine except that the path stored in the .actionScriptProperties file is absolute. Here you can see the linked lib:
With parent artifactId of swf, swc, war set to swf, swc, test respectively.On executing mvn on test folder(for that matter clean or anything) I get this following error.

Looks like its trying to download the project from maven's central repository instead of building it.
I've recently started making a game in FlexBuilder. The game is currently a Flex project. Is there any downside to using Flex as opposed to just Actionscript? A friend of a friend told me that Flex is slower than an Actionscript project. I've been unable to validate this on the internet; is there any truth to that claim?
I have a CodeIgniter project and I made a back-office in Flex. I was wondering how I can implement the Flex project in my CodeIgniter since I'm working with routing I can't route to any directory. So there isn't a way to display the back-office.

I have one Eclipse Workspace containing two projects. - The first is my actual library. - The second is example code for using the library.When I push this code to GitHub, I don't want two separate projects, I want the example code to go into an "example" folder of the second library.How and where would I do this? I am going to make an Arabic application using Flex builder 4.5. I have two questions that need to be answered What is the difference between ActionScript Mobile Project and Flex Mobile Project. I have a datagrid with different types of columns, like I have checkboxes, combo boxes and text Inputs as the column types. Now I want one of the column type to a link, with the label "view". All the rows in that column are link with the same label "View" and on clicking it, I want a Pop up window to be opened?

I cant "center" my project, like you can see its "fixed" (yellow lines) in the left side and I cant see "invisible" part of project... (area around the project). how can I move my project so I can see the not-project area around the project. (picture 2).

I'm starting to learn in flex and ruby on rails. I see some projects there is a flex folder under rails_project/app which contains controller, models, views. I think it's not mannually to add these folders to rails project.
In Flash Builder (flex 4) I try to use next code to set selected by user (from file system) Image as a repeated background. It worked with mx:Image but I want to use cool repited capabiletis of s:BitmapFill.BTW: Technic I use also does not work with S:BitmapImage. Also FP does not return any errors. What Shall I do with my code to make it work?
I've added a ProgressEvent listener to an instance of FileReference. At different times in the code I call both upload() and load(). How can I isolate the progression event of only the upload method?
What is the role of source for an ArrayCollection or XMLListCollection? Is it used just once - when constructing a new ArrayCollection or XMLListCollection object and is it copied to some internal data structure of that object?

I'm asking because Flex examples related to dataProviders always use some Array or XMLList as source of data for a data-driven component. And I wonder, if using Array or XMLList is necessary at all - when for example loading data from external PHP-script.
