Jquery :: Swaping Videos Through Hide / Show While Playing

So my code is:Click the link show the div.I'm using the jquery flash embed object.[code]When I repeat this code and get the second video to load on click. It works in all browsers. The only issue I'm running into is that in IE6 the video keeps playing and in other browsers it stops the video your watching and loads the one you clicked on. I looked into using the .remove object or the .append to a div, but I can't seem to get that to work and if it does work will it play nice with IE6.

the thing i'm searching for my site is something that can show, and after 10 seconds, hide some html.Exactly is for a games site. I want to show ads during 10 seconds, and after this time, load the .SWF file of the game.During 10 seconds i want to show the window of the ad in the center of the field where later the game will be displayed. It's like a 700x500px window.One of the problems is that the ad window maybe 300x200px and i want to put it in the center. It's like i want to make a scene of 10 seconds with tha ad showing like the game is loading.I beg you to answer in a begginer level, i'm not expert in scripts, just know some html, that's why i'm a bit overwhelmed with the info i found in the net.

As we know we can't $.show/$.hide to show/hide the flash component,which will cause the flash player to redraw it. Is there a flexible component that can hide/show flash components with redraw them?

A friend of mine has created a movie for my site, it's in .flv format. I've heard of the popular flash player called flowplayer, but I have a bad feeling such a player will not work on the ipad and other devices which do not support flash. Is there a way to play a video in the flash format through a non-flash player so that the content can be viewed on all devices?

I'm using the default CS4 FLVPlayback skin, mainly the SkinOverPlayMute.swf. I know there's a skinAutoHide option, but because I don't want it to auto play, I want people to see a play button when they first encounter the video (so they don't think it's just an image). But the skin needs to hide when the video is actually playing (so the video doesn't get blocked by the controls).
In other works - when video isn't playing: skin showing; when video is playing: skin hide.

I am having some troubles embedding videos in a jQuery dialog. It displays and plays all well but it is always in front of other dialogs. When I pass another dialog over the one with the video the video stays on top of everything.

I have written a modal using jquery UI and it appears at the front of a flash movie thus the html inside the modal becomes corrupt, I tried to hide the movie right before modal gets triggered and reappears after closing the modal, works well but each .hide() and .show() the flash movie gets resetted while all I want is to hide (without removing the movie) and displaying it once it is triggered to .show that modal div.

I'm using the jQuery oembed plugin to display videos from a Vimeo feed. The only problem is they display over the top of my navigation menu. I have tried setting the z-index of the menu but this makes no difference. A common suggestion seems to be to set the wmode parameter to transparent or opaque. However, passing this as a parameter to the oembed function makes no difference.

Where you get thumbnails for all different videos with the ability to add different categories. I have a fla and XML file as my source files. xml has all the information about the list of movies titles description and all that and my fla file has info about the way player looks. I want to be able to add a tab called related videos, kind of like YouTube where when you play a certain movie it show a list of similar videos.

I insert the video file into Dreamweaver via media, Flash and it appears and plays when I test it on my page, but when I preview the page in the browser on my website the video does not play and I get a blank screen where the video should be.

I have a Flash video playing as part of a jQuery slideshow. But it seems not to be autoplaying successfully, and is loading very slowly. It usually loads on refresh, but not when someone first hits the page.The video is at link removed as it will be outdated shortly - we're moving to production; besides, the problem is solved.

Several arrays are created by passing a number (k) from a different array,for every item in the array I need to have a little dot.I have a movieclip on the timeline with a maximum of 15 dots.So if the array has only 6 items, the last 9 dots should dissapear.

I'm making a project in Flash at college and when I view my project and click on a few tabs the sound from the videos starts playing and I can't get it to stop. The video doesn't play though but it's always the sound and if I press pause the video will pause but the sound keeps on playing.
