Currently I am building flash website. But I would like to have images presented using JQuery slider Galleria [URL] Basically, the web is built of the menu on the left. when clicking one of the items from the menu i would like the Jquery Slider show in the middle (over the flash, may be box 700x500).

I'm having some trouble with the code below. the flash player has a default volume slider, but I want to use the jQuery slider to change the volume. the volume value(nr) is changing while I move the slider, but the volume of the song doesn't.

I'm considering attempting a redesign of a flash website with jquery effects and transitions in place. I just wanted to reach out to the community to maybe see how feasible this really is considering the particular transitions and effects this website hasThe gallery I guess can be recreated by carousel plugin, but there are so many out there so maybe could suggest a stable one that would be be best suited to this job. The other items that really caught my attention in which I wouldn't really know where to start is the navbar and the effect that looks like a book opening when you click on a link on the navbar.

the thing i'm searching for my site is something that can show, and after 10 seconds, hide some html.Exactly is for a games site. I want to show ads during 10 seconds, and after this time, load the .SWF file of the game.During 10 seconds i want to show the window of the ad in the center of the field where later the game will be displayed. It's like a 700x500px window.One of the problems is that the ad window maybe 300x200px and i want to put it in the center. I created an ajax jQuery featured content slider that will automatically navigate through each tab. Each tab has some basic html. The one I used is this one: [URL]. For some reason, when I embed a flash video in it, the flash video overflows the div. It looks fine in Chrome and Safari but not the latest version of Firefox (3.6) on the PC. Is it not handling overflow or z-indexes correctly?

The problem:
If I use Flash I won't be able to display any information on iOS devices BUT i will be able to perform animations if I want to feed in in realtime.
If I use HTML5 I won't be able to display it on any IE, and animations will be slow...
How can I fill my whole background with a big image? The photo is 1400*867 and with the solution here it fills up the width but not the height. I don't care if the photo gets cropped in order to fill up the height too.
The CSS3 way (background-size) is perfect but doesn't work in IE.
If you don't know a way with css/jquery could you direct me to a flash script where I could just enter the path of the image and let flash resize it?
I was wondering if it was possible to make a small script in Jquery that would change an image at a certain time. For my site, I want the image for the opening and closing of a facility to change when it opens and closes. Is this possible with Jquery or should I go with something else? Actionscript/Flash? I can't use PHP on the site...

View 2 RepliesI'm doing photo gallery and like to enlarge an image when I click on it with some animation like it's in flash (the picture slowly expands first by x-axis and after by y-axis and the space around the picture dims), that it scales to it's largest possible size to fit in screen, but it can be any other animation. I found some topics about this, but I don't want to use any 3rd-party plugin (including flash, drupal...) to do it. Maybe it can be somehow done by jQuery...

The only issue I'm running into is that in IE6 the video keeps playing and in other browsers it stops the video your watching and loads the one you clicked on. I looked into using the .remove object or the .append to a div, but I can't seem to get that to work and if it does work will it play nice with IE6.

I'm trying to use flashmo image slider with ASP.NET MVC3 but run into an issue with the XML configuration file for the Flash slider...the XML file uses a direct path to the photos I want to use..for instance:
