Apr 30, 2011I have a flash swf file which I don't want people to be able to download and decompile it . my first solution was to load this swf file in another swf file and put the container swf file in my site . but something's wrong . when I load my swf file in another swf file using : myloader.loadMovie ("myswffile.swf");it works fine in my local computer but when I load these two swf files to my server and try to use them there , it doesn't work .

Jul 9, 2009I have a flash file (main.fla) that contains an empty movie clip which has the action :loadMovie("myMovie.swf");When I test the movie in Flash it works fine.It also works fine when I have Flash closed & just open the (main.swf) file.And, of course, the loaded movie (myMovie.swf) plays fine too.HOWEVER, when I embed the main movie file (main.swf) into an HTML page, it will NOT load "myMovie.swf" like it's supposed to.Note: when I embed "myMovie.swf" into the HTML page, it works fine.

Jul 26, 2011I load multiple SWFs into a single SWF for seamless user navigation and playback. This allows me to have multiple scenes and a single menu from which to jump to them. Now on to the problem...As you can see in my current site, the LoadMovie function works properly when the SWF "loader" sits on an URL>..HTML page opens with an SWF on it, which correctly loads a movie file(s) into it.However, when I put the exact same SWF "loader" file into a prettyPhoto lightbox: URL...(click the Clinical Ink thumbnail to see the lightbox)The first SWF loads fine but it doesn't load the movie into it.I've tried multiple SWFs that also work fine on an HTML page, all with the same result.

Jan 16, 2007I did a photo gallery with loadMovie functions and It works fine when I preview it in flash but when I go to export it and publish it on my website the photos don't load into the clip. Is it because I'm in flash MX? do I just need to upgrade or what?

Oct 30, 2010I am about to eat my keyboard. I created a flash file with some swf's (created in flash) wich are loaded with loadMovie("name.swf", 4); and fscommand to open on fullscreen. No problems everything works 100%! But! When I load swf's that are created with Indesign (the swf's work fine when I open them individually) It doesn't work! It seems it loads the swf every 2 seconds again or something. I sure hope there's anyone who's got a clue for me!

Aug 9, 2004I haven't been able to find documentation on why loaded movies via 'loadMovie' into another movie clip don't seem to obey onEnterFrame commands. The following code represents a movie clip, 'container', which has a loaded external .swf file, 'box.swf'.
I have set the container to begin a decreasing alpha change. I've also added a trace to see if the onEnterFrame is performing at all. What happens is that the box does not appear to have an alpha change. There is, however, a trace that returns an output of '100' only. But no other numbers, suggesting that the command has stopped.

Oct 1, 2003I have a movie. In it are some buttons and a dynamic text field. When I press the buttons is should load text from a database into the dynamic text field. If I run the movie by itself (ie. not by LoadMovie()-ing it into a different movie) the dynamic text field gets filled with text and all is well and good. However, when I use LoadMovie() to load this very same movie into my main movie, the buttons no longer work; the text field stays empty.

Media Server :: FMS 4.5 HDS Doesn't Work After About 30 Mins
Feb 28, 2012I try to do live stream by FMS 4.5.1 and FMLE 3.2 (H.264&MP3 encoding) It's all good no matter video or audio. But after about 30 mins, stream freeze. Refresh doesn't help, only get a black screen without any error message.
restart service or reboot my PC still the same. The only way to fix it is uninstall FMS and Install it again. HDS works again....but same problem happens after 30 mins or a couple of hours.
tried on 2 PC (Win7 x64 & x32) still the same.

In order to adapt to my needs i made it a movie with a drag and drop parameter to be loaded in another movie (with loadMovie or loadMovieNum). The problem is than the movie loads, drags but doesnt drops. Even i tried with the example movie and nothing happens.

Actionscript 3 :: Flex Application Doesn't Work Properly After Uploading To A Server?
Sep 2, 2011I'm a C++ programmer, but I'm a newbie in Flex. I'm developing a Flex 3 application for a social network using the FlashDevelop. For debugging I'm using the stand-alone FlashPlayer (10.3 debug) downloaded from Adobe. The application is a simple audio player which shows artist/album images.
The application worked properly on both local computer and remote server until I made some layout changes in Main.mxml. I added some HBoxes and changed Image placement. After that the application still works on my local computer, but it doesn't work properly after I upload it to a server.
Application buttons are not highlighted on over/out/click events, images loaded from the Internet are not displayed, text changed dynamically is not displayed, but when I click buttons a sound file is loaded from the internet and starts playing. It looks like some events which are responsible for components displaying are not dispatched, because some part of functionality not related to displaying still works.
To make sure that this is not a server problem, I rolled back to the previous revision. All works fine.
I suppose that this is a known issue, but I have no idea what is the reason.

on the 1st i have some XML code
in the 2nd i read the XML and send to the 3rd frame and play a FLV movie. when the FLV movie ends, if goes back to the 2nd frame to "know" what is the next movie and goes again to the 3rd frame.
When i export everything is OK, when i publish and use the Mac Projector it is ok. But if i use the Fullscreen Mode, when the movie end's the Movie doesnt go back to the 2nd frame...
Form Loaded Into Main Movie Doesn't Work?

When I preview this section on its own the form works, but when I preview through the main swf file (or online) the text fields cannot be typed into. How can I fix this? Aug 30, 2009This is just plain weird to me.This is part of a loop that creates text fields. The movie clip is of course named numholder_mc.

If I create an empty movie clip "manually" on the stage and instance name it numholder_mc, then this code does not work.
However, if create an empty movie clip using actionscript, it works just fine!

Anyone have any ideas on this one? Its just weird.
Simple Text Fade Movie Clip Doesn't Work

Aug 13, 2004[MX] I'm loading an infinitly scrolling swf into my main swf. When it loads however it doesn't work properly, because all the pixel values in the origonal code do not match for its location in the main movie. I know I can change the AS with new value and make it work, but I am wondering if there is another way. I'd like to be able to move it around and always have it work without changing it. Is there a way I can have the loaded swf retain its OWN origonal x,y cords? or some other method of doing this?
