I have made a image-viewer. I've this AS for the viewer:

Now i would like to make a loop for the thumbnails so they don't have a beginning or end(Now when i scroll to the right the thumbnails stop at the last thumbnail, i want it to begin at the first thumb again).I'm also trying to make that the middle thumbnail represents the photo in target_mc.
I am making a gallery, which you can view here:[URL]ok, firstly, when you click a thumbnail, you cannot scroll them until you roll off the click thumbnail, and I'm not sure why. is it just a movieclip thing? or can I put some code in to re-get focus of something? ok, now for the two general questions:
1. When you roll over the thumbs, they go up, sometimes they flick back down though, even though you are rolled over them still. is this just because they are moving?
2. Does anyone know why when I add this:

Im trying to create via xml and a for() loop a thumbnails wiewer and each thumbnail have a simple onrelease function.....but my probleme is that my 'container' movieClip and 'BT' movieClip dont show when I export the movie...also when i trace()them the output is empty. maybe is because they are inside x.onLoad(xml){} function ? At the end of the script you can remove // before the trace() function for ckecking in the output panel. here is my code:

I've got two movieclips box and box2 and I've place them in the same layer because I couldn't get each box to move individually in seperate ones I've placed this code on the frame

Now I've got both movieclips shaking but they're on top of each other rather than in the places I want them. I'm sure its a case of changing something but what?
I've got an fla with over two thousand movieclips in one frame. Each movieclip does not have an instance name. way to control each movieclip individually? For example, rotating all movieclips 45 degrees?

I'm trying to instance a button that I've made in a for loop. Everything else works, but I'm having a problem with mousing over and out. I was intending to make it so that each label would respond to its own instanced listener, but instead only the last label is responding to the listener. So, no matter which button I mouse over, only the last button's label animates. It seems like something that's simple, so I'm going to continue trying to work with this.

I've made a pretty complex button thats actually a drop down menu. So when you mouse over the button, it opens the drop down menu, but the actual button is also clickable. The problem comes in when I copy the button like 4 times. I can make the main button go to different links, but everything inside the button,i.e. the drop down links, changes across all copies whenever I modify one. How do I go about making each button a different separate button so that I can modify each one individually?

I have a mainmc on the stage. I have another extarnal mc called buttons_mc. When i use loadMovie and load that external mc, the loaded mc's AS2 doesnt seem to run when playing within the mainmc.
Is it possible that a loaded mc looses all its variable values when it comes into a main clip ? Or is my problem lying in the fact that the root paths of all the clips inside button_mc have to be changed to suit the main clip's hierarchy ?
I am attempting to combine two AS files that are acting as cellRenderers individually but not simultaneously for cells in a datagrid in a Flash document I have created. The first styles the cells to have alternating row colors and the second allows for non-text content to be rendered. The issue is whenever I attempt to combine them the document reports errors with "super" and "override" among others.

I've a preload bar in my movieclip that i add on the stage for every thumb. With this code only the last preload bar does the preload...the others don't do anything...Here the code:

Yes, I'm making a photo gallery like everyone else. I'm making it so people can order pics from the site. There are going to be about 500 photos per album in 5 different categories. The photos can be shrunk down to about 60kb a piece. If I use the actual pictures as thumbnails, just scaled down, the total size of all the pics will be about 30mb. I know this is a lot.
Either way, the people looking at the album will most likely look at nearly all the pics so they will be using up bandwidth either way. Plus, if I use the actual pics as thumbs the user will not have to wait to see actual pic when it's clicked on because it's already loaded. A preloader is annoying to me. I do realize a preloader would be wise when loading the thumbs. Just dislike them after you click one for the big picture.
So is using shrunken thumbs a necessity or if the big pic is under a certain size it shouldn't matter if I use it for a thumb also?
I have a site with several images on it. there is a main image with buttons on it, and each button load a series of images (simulating a zoom) What i want to know is if there is a way to preload the external swf (the ones each button loads) while the user is looking the main movie, so, when he presses a button, the external swf plays inmediately and there is no "loading" time. I try several ways and google it and find some tutorials but no one works.
