Is it possible to change the color of the dragger , drag-path and the two up and down buttons of UIscrollBar from white to any other color.

View 1 RepliesI prefer to build custom drag functions using the TimeEvent etc. Below I have some code where as when I click on a MovieClip it fires the imageStartDrag function which then begins the imageDrag function consecutively.Currently when I click and drag it moves the image fine, however it is snapping to the far left of the image.What I would like is to be able to click and drag so that the image drags from it's original point. My brain is a bit confused, what do I edit in 'imageLoader.x = mouseX;' to have it starting from it's original position and moving. (Note, I'm only testing with the X Axis atm, later it will use the Y Axis too.)

I have an MC with the instance name "building". I want to be able to change the RGB color values of this MC with three buttons for example. for example, one button would change the RGB values to 60 89 159 another button would change the RGB values to 50 251 59 another button would change the RGB values to 22 21 59 And, when the button is clicked, the new RGB color value should fade in without the old values fading out.

The script works, but not as hoped. The colour will only change when the user is "clicking" on the button, I want to it keep changing colour until it reaches the 'endColour' variable (like it should) - I have tried doing an "onRelease" statement, but this didn't help either
Secondly, like I said in my preamble, I want it to be able to fade from its current colour to a set colour, eg: I need var startColour to be dynamic, rather than fixed, but I don't know how to read in an objects current colour(!)
I'm cruising through the Classroom in a Book series for ActionScript 3.0 and I'm having problems with the uiscrollbar attaching to a text field. I've used them before, but this time when I drag it over to the text field it keeps jumpimg to the outside of the box instead of attaching and I can't seem to get in inside the box unless I manually change the X and Y settings and force it where I want it to be. Even then it doesn't work correctly.

I am using movie clips rather than "button" symbols because, when switching between states, buttons look kind of bouncy after you click them. View 1 RepliesI made a touch screen application and I used a UIScrollBar for one of my TextField in there and I want to make it's buttons wider/bigger. The .width and .scaleX and also .setSize() properties are not working. I change size of all components inside the UIScrollBar (make wider), but it keeps its original width size with no changes.

View 5 RepliesI'd like to have some graphic object which is possible to drag along the VA path. I've tried something to do but no success. The path is a random up-down hills. Exactly like the Motion guide does it.
Maybe some solution: put some object on the motion guide, create some possition sniffer, apply position to the drag-object.... but there's the problem how to obtain the direction of the drag... even when I use Beziere curve, the right direction still persists...
