I bought a template and couldn't figure out the AS. The player_btn can load 4Songs but only in swf format and I'd like to change the the script to load as mp3 format but how to do I edit the script?

It all works fine, but when the date shows up on the email it shows like this: Mon Sep 27 00:00:00 GMT-0400 2010, but I want it to look like this: 9/27/2010.

I need to change the format of my Data Grid text (change the color, and the size, and so on). I was trying to use the CellRenderer class, creating a new one and assigning it to one DataGridColumn, but didn't work...When I try this code, some celds dissapear, and nothing is show but the last row. I just wanna change the text look in the DataGrid.

View 1 RepliesThe movie I am working on has a dynamic text field which I setup and format in the constructor of the ActionScript 3.0 class code for the movie - I am working with CS3 Flash. I do not reformat the text field anywhere in the code after the constructor.The text displays in the text field perfectly as long as I do not highlight the text when running the movie.
If I highlight the text in the text box as if I were going to copy and paste, the next time text is written to the text field the font type and size changes. The only way to reset the font formatting is to restart the movie.
Is there a solution or workaround? Of course I can reformat the text everytime I write new text to the textfield, but during the course of the movie text is rewritten to the textfield many times.

View 2 RepliesI am loading variables from a txt file. After loading in Flash, the format of the variables is weird.
My text file looks something like this:
var1=15&var2=10&var3=this is a test&var4=etc
It has been created in notepad.
When I load the variables with the command loadVariablesNum("variables.txt",0); there is a problem with var1 and var2. These are not considered as integers but as text and have the values "15" instead of 15 and "10" instead of 10.

then I loop the array to search the data I want to return to another function...my problem is how to format the date value in array to become this format before I can make a comparison with this value....
5/21/2007--> this value got from this current date
so the problem is how to convert the value in array from this format
21-5-2007 to this 5/21/2007 for all the values....the data I load from dtbase actually that's why it store that kind of format....

I put one image on each fram and just loops thought them. I reckon this kan be done in only one frame and some AS.
My idea is to put all the names of the imported images in an array and just loop through that. But what is the code for loading an imported image when clicking on a button and how do I loop through the array?

Im trying to load a jpg into a MovieClip using the loadMovie() command because the MovieClipLoader object was introduced in Flash 7, which the box cannot run. Im preloading the image using getBytesLoaded() and getBytesTotal() and after its loaded I want to stretch it to a certain size. Im having 2 problems:
1)The FIRST time I run the loadMovie command, it doesnt always load the jpg, and getBytesTotal is set to -1. After I load it a second time, the preloader works fine.
2)I cannot use mc_name._width = 1000 to scale the width of the jpg image to a certain width. Ive tried my code on a fresh flash file and it works on a computer using Flash 6, Actionscript 2, but not on the box. Whats weird is that if I use mc_name._xscale instead of mc_name._width, it works.
